I was charged a $100 deposit because I used my Tn State issued Child Support card to purchase my truck. If I had been told of this issue I woukd have used a credit card. Upon my return of the truck I was late returning the truck but I did return the truck the same day. So I was charged an entire day's rate plus insurance. I returned the truck on the due date. I was unaware I had to return the truck at a certain time. Bottom line I want my full deposit back. I will never rent from this uhaul center ever again.

There are no smoking signs on the truck but the inside of truck smells like an ashtray. The smell gave me a headache just the few minutes I spent driving it.

Gas tank only had 1/4 tank of gas. I had to fill it up completely. It should have been filled up completely before I got there. I dropped it off with 1/2 tank. Uhaul should owe me 1/4 tank of gas.

Maybe require that there is no smoking allowed in the truck. The cab was HEAVILY smelling of cigarette smoke when we picked it up and we had to have the windows down every time we drove it. It was a clean cab- it just stunk like cigarettes & as non-smokers it's a pretty offensive smell to have to breathe in when you have no choice. That was the only downside to our entire rental experience.

Keep equipment in stock. Needed a 12 foot utility trailer without ramp gate. Not one to be found anywhere around Chattanooga TN. Ended up having to rent a truck instead for considerably more money.

My issue is with Uhaul. I made a reservation only for Uhaul to change it ( different location) without any communication. Rhodes was very accommodating and helped get us the truck we needed/requested.

Just make sure the gas tank is actually as full as it is supposed to be before the next customer. We were told the tank was 7/8 full to start with, we went only approx. 28 miles total (round trip), but had to put in 23 gallons of gas to return it to 7/8 full. ($50).

I had a horrible experience with uhaul. I spent over a hour at the location to pick up my truck when I called uhaul I got transferred to 5-6 different departments then when I finally got payment to go through the lock box was broken and wouldn't work. Turns out the lock box was never locked. I was able to get my key but a horrible experience

wish I could post you a picture of my ruined photo albums - that truck leaked and many of the boxes in "mom's closet" were soaked . I had to take all the blankets and throws to a laundrymat and run them through a dryer My wife is very upset and I am more tired than I should be . I returned the truck with the floor soaking wet

It looked like the passenger of the last user may have had their feet up on the dash and left prints all over the window. Probably should have someone do a better more thorough walk thru. Also driving down the interstate, loaded and unloaded, it was shaking/vibrating really bad. Really hard to enjoy driving a mobile shale weight.

Lady at desk slow as a snail omg 30 minute wait I only had truck 3 hours asked for reduced rate wouldn't even work with me flat out fake NO. ILL NEVER USE THIS U-HAUL PLACE AGAIN the one one Main Street much nicer and would have charged me $20 bucks I think I probably used it 5 miles for $60 didn't rvn touch dolly either. BAD EXPERIENCE OH and jerk old mad had parked in the uhaul space when I had to drive it back there so i pulled bejind another truck he starts giving me a speech about not parking there I said your in the stupid spot u move and park this truck it's your job anyway FRUSTRATING

The location was fine, but the app experience was miserable. Even though I reserved over the phone with Rhodes, I had to wait for an online chat session and for uhaul to call an alternate contact. Plus, I had to take several pictures while standing in the rain. Also, my first reservation was on my computer, and I received confirmation and the pickup location was at Rhodes. When I used the app to access it, it showed a location near knoxville (alcoa I think.). I had to cancel and call Rhodes to get it straight. I will not use Uhaul again unless I can have face to face interaction. From a former loyal and repeat uhaul customer.

The experience was very good overall, unfortunately dampened by Rhode's inability to allow me to return unused boxes for credit. Of the two employees on duty, one did not know how to process credits, and the other claimed she did not have time. Since there were only two boxes being returned, I requested that Rhodes simply donate them without charge to the next customer in need of boxes.

The vehicle was parked way too far away from the key. I had to walk .35 miles (total) to the key and back to the truck. The key and the truck should be in the same area.

Honestly worst experience. I was told to pick up my truck using their online service. When I arrived the truck was there opened but the key was not in the right place. I placed a call and there was nothing they could do but re-route me to another location. This location was further out so I would be spending more money due to more mileage. I was then overcharged at the end for the mileage. Not a good experience.

I'm pretty sure I had to submit my license online when I set up my account. Then I had to do it again on site. The whole process got hung up and it took me about 40 minutes to get into the truck. For a weekend pickup with no one around, all that should be taken care of ahead of time. If a glitch happens like I had I'm just standing around waiting. There are no instructions sent to me either as to starting the process of getting in the truck. Very Frustrating experience over all.

Much like renting a car (National for instance, where I get in a car and drive away), long-term, known customers should not have to wait the exorbitantly long time to get a simple trailer. It literally took twice as long to pick up the trailer as using it to move a car a few miles. Just a thought...
