The previous user left the back of the truck with lots of dirt that I cleaned before using. The staff at Richardson are Great! No problems there. Got us in and out in a jiffy and really friendly people.

kimberly fThis agent too warned me about returning truck to unassigned lot even though I was told when renting that any location was fine. Then U-Haul assigned me a return area 5 miles out of the way. Appears there is much miscommunication with the company since the agents don't have a direct line to call for help and nothing good to say about the U-Haul company in general.

mary rRichardson Auto is the BEST U-Haul location in Texas. Mr. Richardson did a great job having all equipment and the truck ready for pick up. He also explained everything really well about the deadlines and the fees for the truck. I would recommend anybody that's moving to get their truck at Richardson Auto.

jaseph gWhile the truck performed as expected there was a major irritation. The wind noise in the cab while going down the road was terrible. I was so bad I would not have wanted to take the truck on a long haul as it would give me headaches. Either the door seals are completely gone or the doors are terribly misaligned. Next was the check-in process from a smart phone. When I checked out the truck the photo of the odometer uploaded with not issues. But when I returned the truck the pictures would not upload at all. I have extremely good cell signal, I turned off all smart phone items that could have interfered but the photo of the odometer would not upload. The screen had a green check indicating all was well, but when I hit the submit the app just bounced back and wanted me to take a photo of the odometer. I tried several times to upload the picture but to no avail. I was checking in on Saturday and the store was closed. So, I left the truck and went into the office on Monday (had to take off work) to make sure the truck was actually turned in and no extra charges were being added. This is terrible and should be considered unacceptable. I rate the phone app a low 1 out of 5.

Lenox BI dropped off at this location because it was the only "manned" facility that showed up in an internet search as open on my drop off day. No facility was specified in my contract either.

John REverything was quick and easy and handled well!
Jonah JTrailer door was damaged. Didn't realize this until we had already loaded and closed the trailer door. Door was jammed shut and wouldn't not open. Richardsons recommended using a pry bar which did not work. So we used a floor jack to force the door open. Returned the trailer before we were done with the move. Used a friends trailer instead. This made us 2 hours late to an appointment.
jacob mWhen we opened the trailer once we got it home, there was quite a bit of broken glass on the floor of the trailer. I would say to check it before renting to the next customer.

Lucretia EI originally was supposed to pick up my truck at R & H mobile housing, but my pickup location was changed to Richardson auto parts and I was not informed by R & H. (did not get the call you're supposed to the day before pick-up) but the man who answered my call at Richardson was friendly and helpful unlike the man at R & H who we first spoke to. At Richardson I was checked out quickly and he explained all I needed to know. If you're renting in Lufkin definitely consider Richardson auto parts.

Brandan MMy original reservation was for a pick up in Diboll Texas on Friday which is where I was moving from. I go to the pick up location on my reservation to find out that they are closed on Fridays! So I ended up having to drive 20 miles to get the trailer at a different location and back to Diboll which put me behind over an hour on my move! Extremely frustrating! Just make sure you verify that a location is open for pick up before you reserve a pick up!!

KIM CThe truck itself was clean, but I thought that I get a full 24 hours before I have to return it? I rented the truck around 2pm and I had to go to work from 5pm to 6am well by 9am I was already getting a call from this location because another customer needed the truck. They had told me the day before to pump gas to where it was when I took the truck, well that morning at 9am they said "time was of the essence" so to just bring the truck in. Long story short I got charged an extra 40-50 dollars because of what they told me to do. Horrible service.
MAURO Lthe location is good, the person who rented the trailer was very nice and very helpful, the trailer was clean on the inside but the outside could have been washed, it looked like it had been in the snow. Overall I would return to this dealer.
