The truck was clean for the most part but smelled absolutely horrible. It smelled like whoever was in it last had been smoking something in the cab or smelled really bad when they got in and it lingered. Everything else was good.Matthew W.
I had trouble returning the trailer since it was after hours. I called to let uhaul know and followed up Wednesday after seeing a text about the return being over due. I again followed up Friday and I was told it would be taken care of. I had returned it same day and the next week got a bill for " 6 days overdue ". It was extremely frustrating especially since I had called 3 times over the previous week. Thankfully Gabby in customer service was able to help me and stayed on the phone with me while she wrote up the discrepancy. Loved Gabby but very disappointed in Uhaul. Probably wouldn't use this service again.Hanna K.

Make sure you'll test drive the truck after each returns to assure that's it drivable. Truck was clean but was scared it was going to break down or lose the ability to brake. Thank God I wasn't planning on moving far away. I was able to take city street and stay within my mileage range.Eugenia S.

It took me an extra hour and a half to pick up my rental truck. The process was messed up from the start when I scheduled a mobile pick up, in the morning, at a different location. Even though it let me schedule there, I was redirected to a different location, because the prior one somehow didn't have the truck. After waiting almost an hour on the phone, your customer service explained that my settings were never saved for mobile pick up. From there, I ran into another problem. I wasn't able to get the truck key, because it wasn't even in the truck. I had to sit on the phone with another customer service representative. After that they were able to get a hold of the location manager, who brought me the key. Mentally exhausted with such a frustrating process, I left an hour and a half behind schedule. The only redeeming part of process was the extremely helpful customer service representative. I do not wish to use U-Haul ever again.Tanner L.

Was charged 268,75 $ and then charged an additional 36,94 $ and I left the truck with 3/4 tank of fuel and clean and under the estimated mileage. Original charge was going to be 234 $. And they said since it was going to be returned on Sunday after hours it was an additional 20 $. I understand the 268,75 $ since it was originally going to be 234,00 $ but not sure why 36,94 $JOSE P.
The app was not working, but luckily the shop was open. The young lady working there that day was super nice and helpful. It was such a pleasure that she helped me. I wish I could remember her name, because she deserves to be noted for her kind, helpful and happy demeanor.Joseph V.
We originally were set up to pick-up the trailer on N. Main street, but they didn't have one ready for us. My only issue for the N. Main street location, they should have called me before I had arrive, to let me aware. Megan at the Ephriham location was outstanding! The location was closed when we arrived. No after hour phone number. We had to change our account to gain access. This took more than 30 mins. Once we got into the truck, we did not have the items from our order including dolly and blankets. We awaited for the location to open. The employee was rude and not empathetic. She said she did not have those items, could not provide them and it was Uhaul's fault for letting us place the items on our order.Carl K.

We chose to do a mobile check in and to start, the padlock was extremely hard to get off of the truck. I called in and got help to get into the truck and when we finally got it open the representative was still on the phone. I noted immediately that there was no appliance dolly in the back as requested and that there was a utility dolly that we could use. The rep stated that the truck was already signed to us and that he could not fix the fees. We also returned the truck outside of business hours (mobile) and now we have a bill for a missing appliance dolly that was never in the truck and furniture pads that we never used. We ordered 12 furniture pads which were returned and the seal never opened but now we are being charged for 12 missing and 24 rented. I have submitted an email but of course have already been charged for these â€œmissingâ€ items even though no one has even bothered to call and go over them with me. I suppose once your card is on file, they just charge you for whatever they feel like. I have never had a problem with Uhaul services in the past but this overall experience at this location and with the mobile check in has been horrendous.easton O.

We had completed our truck rental and additional items (24 packing blankets) online. On arrival at the store to pick up, there were only 12 blankets. Inside of front windshield had an oily film that wasn't noticeable until the last hour of our trip home directly into the sunlight. Lack of cleaning inside windshield was annoying and dangerous when the sun was direct. Other than that, great experience overall.ROBERT E.

The only issue I had is that I returned the vehicle with the same amount of gas that was given to me and the rep indicated that I was 1/8 short which was not true and they charged me a little bit over5,00 $ foo1 gallon. The scheduled drop off location was Sanson Park, TX. After stressful day, refueling and arriving, they could not accept the truck, too large.They recommended 1st American Storage. Thank them so much for accepting the truck. I have used Uhaul at least 20 times, NEVER again. Very bad day.Brandon J.

Arrived at our reserved time at the reserved location. We did the remote check in as we were supposed to do and assigned a truck number. We were having issues with the payment going through so we went inside to speak to the representative inside only to be told that truck was reserved for someone else and that there was nothing she could do. Went on to try and find another location. Sat on hold for a good 45 minutes waiting to speak to a Uhaul rep. The uhaul rep was friendly and attentive. 2 and a half hours later we finally received our original reserved vehicle. Was nothing but a hassle and will definitely choose another truck rental for future movesdylan R.

Basic maintenance such as new windshield wipers would be good, as the wipers were old, dried and shredded. We had to sweep the inside of the truck just to use it. The hand cart was loose and couldn't be fastened because the thumb screw intended to hold it in position was rusted tight.Dayle L.

The vehicle was clean. The front end needs an alignment. This covid 19 and new standards of safety make customer service difficult and uncomfortable. I walk in the door. Im told to wait outside in my car by a young woman were her mandatory mask. Not, Hi welcome. Also when its my turn I'm told : Go back behind the tape. Okay. Thanks for the unsanitized chair. Which by the way I don't care about but if that location was truly concerned about safety they would have wiped down the chair. Thankfully when it was time to pay, they could stand close enough to take and touch my credit card. There are so many way to be COD about germs and I appreciate the effort of not getting sick but the ridiculous attempts offer less than stellar customer service experiences. Don't worry I still used my manners of : thank you, I appreciated you, and have a nice day. In Oklahoma the young man (no mask) was polite, stayed his 6 feet way (without making verbal note of it) and was still able to politely communicate without making me feel like a walking contagion but we were outside.Cheryl B.
My original scheduled pick up time was 11:00. I called at 11:00 to let them know I couldn't get there until 12:30. Got an answering machine with a message that they were not available and I left a message that I would be running late and to call if there were any questions or issues. Upon arriving, there was a sign that they would not be returning until 2:30. When finally able to pick the truck up, found out that they would not have even been there at 11:00.Michael E.

It took me 1 hour to get the truck and although everything had been pre approved I still had to have Customer Service involved to approve which as I say took over an hour. The Agent at this location was excellent and was as frustrated with U-Haul Customer Service as I was. The vehicle cab was full of mud from a previous construction renter. This pick up location was not my first choice and U-Haul changed it miles away from my first choice. Doubtful I will ever use U-Haul again.Stephen B.
