Not a great place to visit, but I got my trailer!
Michael KNo one at location to check in/out equipment. So I did it over the phone. The lady who checked me in was amazing. But one of the ladies I talked to about checking out was very rude and said I don't know what I'm doing. Well obviously I didn't that's why I called. So she transferred me again and the Second Lady was amazing. Turns out the rude lady was wrong. I am a return customer and hope not to see these issues in the future

Chelsey CThe first thing out of the owner of the rental shop was FUCK U-Haul. He said he didnt give a rats ass about my reservation or U-Haul. He said what a joke. He told me the only reson he had U-Haul was so that he could borrow trailers for free for his perosnal affairs for his rental business. He said he could care less about U-Haul & that it was only 0 % of his business & thats how much he gave a damn. He had 1 trailer at his location when I pulled up & he was using it for his personal use to move a bounce house. He yelled & screamed at me telling me he didn't have any trailers for me & that I couldn't have that 1 because he was using it. He was extremely unprofessional, rude, belligerent, & acted like he was on speed. He eventually yelled at me & told me to come back in 40 minutes when he was done using the trailer. He then changed his mind & told me to come back in 20 minutes. He then told me just to wait & not for anywhere because he would unload it & let me take it since I traveled almost 5 hours to pick up an item. Needless to say I will never recommend this location or go back! Worst experience I have ever had with a rental company!!!!

Kassie CThe original location was C&R Automotive in Moberly, MO. I arrived there and there was no trailer. We were on a time crunch and ended up backtracking 40 min to get a trailer in Centralia. While not the Rodgers Rental's fault, it was a horrible experience overall.

William NIf you are going to inquire about my "Uhaul experience" than you should be honest and include Uhaul itself, it's website, etc. as well as the pick-up and drop-off locations. I reserved a utility trailer for pick-up in Decatur IL via website, NOT Taylorville, IL. UHAUL FAILED MISERABLY to make sure the equipment was at the Decatur site. Instead, you took the easy way out by changing my pick-up location WITHOUT MY APPROVAL. UHAUL had one week to perform this task and FAILED MISERABLY. Why in Hell should the customer be expected to change his/her plans due to UHAUL's failures? Shouldn't I get some form of compensation for performing this work FOR YOU?
David HIt was far from where I wanted to pick up the truck. The roads to there were narrow and had no shoulders, making it dangerous. The man was nice, and the store was fine.

steve cThe truck had a bad steering box. They did not have another truck so I drove this wreck for 1100 miles. They never checked the truck coming off rental from the previous renter. Gary SOf course, it would have been easier to get our truck in Columbia, since that is where we wanted the pick up. But they were nice in Centralia.

KELLY PI did my original reservation on-line. It was accepted & confirmed for pickup in Jonesburg, MO.. This location is an hour from where I lived. I had to do this because I made several calls and was told there were no trucks available near me (I lived in a college town. When I arrived, they told me my reservation was for Wentzville, MO.. That was another 50 miles away. I told them no way. They contacted the central reservations office. They then told me there WAS a truck available in Centrali, MO.. Which is 20 minutes fro where I lived. I then had to drive an hour and 25 minutes to that location. I, of course called & confirmed that they indeed had a truck. They confirmed. I ended up driving 2 !/2 hrs. to pickuop a truck. This is NOT the first time this has happedned to me. I had a similar experience one year before. Do YOU think this is acceptable?
Nicholas NRental was reserved for a 20' truck in Centralia. Truck pick up location moved to Mexico. 20' truck was not available. Had to go back to Centralia for 26' truck.
KRAIG SSaw that I had returned the truck on time and removed the excess fee with me having to ask him. I rented the truck for 915 miles one way and was told I had five days to return it. I returned it after three and computer tried to charge a late fee.
RUSSELL HI was fairly unhappy with the fact that the location was almost 30 miles from my preferred location.
RICK BThey requested that we go on-line to set up order versus them doing this while we were in their office. Then they didn't know when they would be in for us to pick up the trucks on Sunday August 31st as we needed the trucks on Sept. 1st. We received a call Saturday August 30th to get to their office ASAP to pick up the trucks as they were holding people off with a shotgun!
PAM Bif a person sets it up to pick up in one town (as I did over 30 days in advance)don't call them the day before they're to pick up and tell them they have to drive 50 mile to pick it up because they don't have one in town.This was done in Columbia Mo. Rogers in Centralia was very helpful unlike Allen Daniels who I had the miss fortune to have to talk to. He is a very rude and hateful individual. If I have to deal with him again I WILL NOT rent from you again and will make sure everyone I know won't either.

ASHLEY FI had no trouble with the "location" or the staff members at the "location". What I had a huge problem with was the U-Haul corportation and the absolutely screwed up way this company does business. I am thoroughly pissed. Let me explain why I will chose another leasing company, or better yet purchase my own moving truck so not to be stressed as badly as this last time. Ok for one example; I went online to try and reserve a truck. Did you know you can reserve a truck although it does not exist at the "location"? What a crock! This is unaccepatable alone however let me explain further. I call to try and confirm, at various "locations" and get an axctual promise on a 26' trauck. No one could find such a thing in Mid-Missouri or even tell me if one would be available on the specific date/time I needed it. What happened to U-Haul? I have used your company for decades and this is the worst I have had in regard to locating a specific truck that had to meet my needs, in a time frame so thatI could move. I work 2 jobs, 50-60 hourds per week. I don't have a lot of time to track down and confirm ghosts trucks that may or may not exist. And further more, if I say I want a truck at location A I sure as hell am not going to pay extra in terms of mileage and my time, to go get one miles away at location B. I will never use your company again I swear to Christ I won't. Ever here of word and mouth advertising? I can have a HUGE FREAKING MOUTH WHEN I AM PISSED. Lastley as I mentioned before, the location I finally picked up the truck and thier staff at Rodgers Rental in Centralia were as accomodating and professional as they could be given they were at the mercy of U-Hauls screwed up policies. I highly recommend Rodgers Rental, but not U-Hall.
