Two problems I had with this uhaul experience. One, my location changed from pick up at Deptford to Woodbury Heights. No phone call, email to let me know if this change. Didn’t find out until I was there. Then, after packing the door on truck wouldn’t close. Having to go back to the location where I picked it up from made me an hour late for my move in time and the guys I hired to help me move. Even though the location was great, the lack of communication and malfunctioning door were major disappointments.

We arrived at our appointed time, 1 person there waiting on both gas customers and us, 45 min later we went in to take care of paperwork and he didn’t know what he was doing. Took copies of our credit card, back and front, after he got copier to work, long story short very horrible experience. Oh..and when we took trailer back he didn’t even help us disconnect the trailer from truck. I cannot understand how they are allowed to rent these trailers, such bad customer service which looks bad for UHaul

The staff working did not check me out. I asked him to look over the vehicle and he did not so I had to take pictured and video to show I dropped it off in good condition. The pick up process was simple. I never received a call or anything about the drop off. I did not get a final odometer reading. I need to check my credit card to see what I am charged. I did not receive a final printout. Concerned.

Was over charged for my rental and had to go to the location and have it adjusted. The truck was a piece of junk, it shook horribly over 30 mph. Had to keep the windows rolled down to keep them from rattling non stop. I have rented from uhaul before but not this location and will NEVER go to this location again. There was no one there at out scheduled pick up time and had to wait for someone to get there. When one of the employees pulled the truck up he hit another truck, the ramp was a pain to get in and out. Over all a very bad experience at this location.

The cab of the truck smelled like urine, and I had to wait 45 minutes for "the boss" to show up so I could pick up my reserved vehicle. When I got there, there was a woman who had already been waiting for half an hour.

The truck had a tire pressure light on when I arrived. I returned the truck in the same condition as I could not find in the manual or on sidedoor labels to have the pressure should be. Truck also smelled.

I scheduled the pick up to be at the Deptford Mall location in NJ. When I arrived I was told that the location had been changed to Woodbury Heights. I was NEVER contacted. I called Woodbury Heights and the guy lied and said he "texted me" that morning. No he did not. When I asked to which phone number he said "I don't know". When I arrived at the location he changed his story to a new lie that he "emailed me" the day prior. No he did not. He finally did email me, when I was standing in front of him!!!! (after the pick up time) And he glared at me the entire time that I had caught him in lies.

The inside of the truck was filthy. There was a used ash tray beneath the seat as well as dust and general filth throughout the dash, cup holders and seats. Additionally, while moving furniture into the truck, I cut my finger and learned that there was broken glass all over the floor. I will not be using this service again.

Uhaul is a place that one can rent needed equipment, at a reasonable price for sure.

the dealer is a gas station first and a U-haul rental second. the agent didn't seem to know what he was doing. I had to repeat myself several times to clarify details. in the end the agent scheduled me with the wrong return location which caused great confusion when I tried to return the truck where I intended to all along. I tried to call them after I couldn't find the return agent but no answer and voice mail box was full. The number they printed out on the rental agreement was a nonworking number. As a last resort, I just pulled into a local U-haul dealer to see if I could return the truck to them. They discovered the return city error, determined the mileage charges would be more and the flat rate was less. I still don't know if I've been over charged or what.

Got vehicle with more miles than contract stated and less gas then contract stated. Was told after I called they they would make a note. After returning the vehicle I told the employee to have his manager call me and he never did. The vehicle was damaged on the rear third brake light which I was not informed about until I paid the original rental fee and 60 miles and this caused the "rear passenger door open alert" to be on the entire time and the interior lights to take over 30 minutes to turn off after exiting and locking the vehicle. According to my true GPS I drove 63 miles and am being charged for over 130. This is a scam and I expect a phone call asap. Not to mention the vehicle stated it had 367 miles til empty when I received it and 415 when I returned it proving that it was not a true full tank of gas like I was told.
