I picked the Uhaul unit up using the online application. The location ot the pick-up point has very weak cell reception. I took me over 35 minutes to pick it up due to the fact that photographs take a long time to upload. Finally, the business ownder didn't arrive until after 8:30 AM because he had to take care of a flat tire and there were no other personnel on the premises to take over.Dennis B.

The place was closed so we shouldn't have been sent there to drop off the truck. It's not the operator's fault - it's U-Haul's for sending us to a closed location and forcing us to rely on a non-functional app to return the truck. The U-Haul app is useless - it wouldn't let us complete our return and there's zero customer service access from the app. After nearly an hour in the hot sun and dozens of mosquito bites, my phone battery died and the truck still wasn't settled. When I finally got to speak with a HUMAN BEING on the phone, everything got solved. We will choose Penske next time despite the extra cost. It's 100 % worth it to never go through all that again.Walter S.
I was supposed to pick up in Naples and there wasn't a truck available. John from U-Haul one way moves in Sarasota, FL (I think) was very helpful and really provided great customer service under the circumstances and while it delayed my trip several hours, he made it palatable.Charles R.

As a customer, I was in the "office: an hour prior the pick-up time, he asked me return an hour later (4pm) Once I was back in the office, before 2 people, they were delivery representatives, I had to wait for the guy to continue processing paper-work. I provided reservation number, which already had quote/price, however, when CC was processed, he did not provide me the amount in dollars to be charged, he made unauthorized charges, he did had truck ready, instead he handled the key, and I had to get truck from the parking area among other trucks/equipment, I did not received any checked list , and fuel was 1/4 tank. This was the most horrible experience I ever had with UHUL, before even I complemented 2 staff members, of course, it was another office, with a very professional people.Luigi P.

I arrived at the appointment time and the management told me he was going to get lunch for his employees. I made him aware of my appointment time but he told me to wait until he gets back. I thought this was very poor service. The location also serves as a repair facility and the area was very dirty.Darrell H.

I'm not sure how to comment. The people at this location were wonderful, but the store was actually closed on the day UHaul sent us there. We were just lucky that the owner happened to stop by when we got there. He was nice enough to open up and complete the rental, but he was out of pads, so we had to get our own. So you should give this location a lot of credit. But,the UHaul company should be scolded for its behavior. UHaul overbooked, and did not hold a truck for us, even though we scheduled far in advance. We were sent to this location, which was 85 miles away, because there were no trucks available near us for 3 days. We had actually scheduled pick-up the previous morning, but we did not get contacted by UHaul scheduling until 6:30 pm that night. The scheduler was nice enough to find this other location, but clearly your system did not advise her that they were closed. We had loaders scheduled. Luckily, they were nice and allowed us to reschedule them, twice, and they worked on a Sunday. But, your scheduling goof delayed our move by 3 days.Randal C.

First, the manager was an hour late opening, when we had an 8 a.m. appointment. His disposition was very unpleasant, disagreeable. He claimed we didn't have a reservation even when we showed him our online receipt. He complained about U-Haul over and over. Poor, poor customer service and poor representative of U-Haul.Wesley S.

They have dog outside the location as soon as i got out from my car to get to locations dog try to come to me there is no good place to park customer vehicle the owner told me to park behind his property i parked there and have to walk back its was far and inconvenient i will highly recommend people not to go there . The man was a total grump. He accused me of racing through his parking lot. He seemed put out that he had to stop work at his garage to check in the trailer. He punched a few keys on his phone, unhooked the trailer and then proceeded to tell me I could go. No thank you, have a nice day, etc. If I ever reserve another trailer to leave in Avon Park and I am routed to this lot, I will cancel my reservation and rent from someone else. Tell this guy to get an attitude adjustment!!!James H.

It was a pleasant experience except for the fact the UHaul internet service seemed to be really slow. I completed all the forms correctly, had uploaded the required licence photos, and prepaid for the rental and it still took some time for the manager to process the forms.James L.
I made the reservation with opting out of the insurance. I selected that I would pay U-haul up front for any damages. He ran my card and it was $70 more than I thought it was going to be. We would have had to start the whole reservation over so I said whatever. But they should follow what was selected online and confirm the selection. Not just automatically add it for me without asking and with my reservation declining it.Charles K.

Went to first location to pick truck, facility was closed. Saw truck parked by office couldn't access keys. Made a second reservation drove to facility person who rents trucks wasn't there was not returning for facility for 5 hours. Finally at RTC Mobile was able to get a truck. All this online registration doesn't work. Need to post if facility is closed.Luis N.

Make sure vehicle is ready for travel. This truck should have been repaired with the other 26 vehicles he had being serviced. All trucks had problems with catalytic converter. Gas mileage was horrible. Rented a bigger one last time and was towing a vehicle and I had better mpgRegina E.

Truck was clean however despite low miles it shook going over 65 mph and when braking the truck would jerk.AMANDA C.
Very professional gentleman helped with return and was very apologetic about roaches, he went out and looked under seat and saw them. He stated he would let Uhaul know about the problem. I did spray under seat with bug spray on way from Louisiana, it did not kill them all. Roaches crawling on you is a distraction while driving and very unclean.MELINDA W.

Dropping off was a real pain. Went to three different address. The first wasn't correct address that was texted to me.
