There were no problems, but it would be helpful to have an 800 number to call if there were. Perhaps there is such a number, but it would be helpful if the agent gives that information. The particular agent, Tyler , was truly great in all respects , so this is not a mark against him-just a suggestion to U-Haul.John K.

After hours drop-off process was good, but the app could be better. For example, I had already taken pictures of the vehicle and dashboard after parking it in the far parking lot (there were no spots immediately in front of the location). Upon checking in, it required that I take pictures again - it doesn't allow you to upload existing photos. So I had to go all the way back to the lot to retake pictures. In the far lot, there should be a sign indicating where to go to do the drop off (perhaps one with link to the drop-off app). I saw other U-Hauls there but didn't know where to go - GPS was pointing to another location.Guerrino L.

24/7 system for getting and returning the key is not efficient. Need for 2 alternate contacts needs to be known prior and review/approval system needs to me improved. Process took too long for both pickup and return. Needs more streamlining. Steps should also be able to be completed prior to pickup.Noah G.

The on line pick up did not work and it took almost 2 hours to get through on the phone to tech support. It required changing a simple setting in Safari. Please put that in a help message. I lost 20 % of my rental time waiting for help.Carmelo C.

Would not recommend. Was not informed the location was closed on the day of pickup. The online checkin process did not work as the website had so many glitches. I kept calling uhaul for assistance and they kept redirecting my calls, which ended up in me being disconnected. Then the van was iced over and doors couldn't open, and I wasn't informed that since the office was closed, it was the responsibility of the renter to fix this issue. They didn't even have an ice scraperâ€¦ These are things uhaul should inform customer of I'm advance.Kristin G.

The process of getting my keys from the lock box took over 1,5 hours because of poor cell service and a failure to successfully communicate with me what the process was going to be . I rented a dozen moving pads I believe , possibly half a dozen but either way there were only 4 on the truck . I was placed on hold with a customer service rep once and after 13 minutes on hold we were either disconnected or she hung up . The second rep was very nice and helpful but it very hard to understand her with her accent and near impossible to follow her guidance because of the horrible cell service near the rental area . I spent nearly 2 hours at the pick - up location between pick-up and drop-off on a day where I need every possible minute to move into my new house and I couldn't imagine much more of a frustrating situation experience than the one I had . I would never recommend the service to anyone , thanks for nothing .Joseph S.

The gentleman, Taylor, who checked me in and out was excellent. The crank for the driver window was broken. Stop being cheap and fix it!Matthew G.
For a 700 mile trip the gas tank had not been filled. Seriously, the customer has to do that? There are multiple gas stations within blocks of the pick up location. The pick up location had no customers and two staff. Torrential rainy pick up day. The front passenger side was soaked from seat to floor as the window had clearly been left open. Staff did not attempt to dry the interior. The truck storage area had a serious leak which I discovered only when loading the truck later. I had to jump through hoops to protect my belongings and then to cover the top of the truck with a tarp upon arrival in Michigan in a snow/sleet storm, as the melting would have flowed into the cabin. Five hours of my time was expended in serious rain and snow to accomplish what U-Haul should have prevented in the first place. Despite official notices and complaints to U-Haul, I received no communication or discount as compensation. Wholly unacceptable.John R.

While the location was great, the overall experience with Uhaul was terrible. You should allow customers to reserve a specific location. Chaning location on customers three days before the rental is unacceptable.Michael C.

The vehicle was ok - not very clean. Dusty and the inside windshield was filthy. The other issue was not being able to return U-haul boxes at this site. The "100 % repurchase Gurantee" is on all boxes and the website but NOWHERE did it say there were only certain locations that would purchase boxes back. The representative at the location was very unhelpful and when I called customer service they were rude and short with me. Not a good experience and now I am stuck with boxes. The pickup via the phone app was extremely complicated and time-consuming. To make things much worse, the truck indicated as my truck was not the correct truck. I had to walk 100 yards across the parking lot to search for and find my truck. I do not recommend the phone app for pickup.Schuyler Q.

Tried to use the U-Haul app and also the mobile version to pick up van before opening hours -neither worked but was fortunate enough that the gentleman opened the store early for me and got me set up with my vehicle -he was extremely pleasant and professional and really turned an extremely frustrating situation into a positive. He even extended my rental time which was helpful since I was delayed by the app and mobile check out not working -would not let me start pick up -kelp reading dismiss on app. And for mobile -kept asking for additional I'd and phone numbers and it would have been helpful if there was an actual phone number to call for assistance in thr remote checkout. Have to say I will be hesitant to use the app and. Mobile checkout -since they just don't work. Would totally recommend thr Mt Kisco location -best customer service I've experienced in a very long timeVictoria P.

To start, the employee at this location was terrific.The location was easy to find, parking great. office clean service great. Actual truck that I rented was in poor condition. Manual handle on window that came off in my hand. The key to the ignition, had to be jiggled just so to start the car. Car smelled of smoke and was not really clean. However, the renting of the truck at this location was fine. However, I attempted to rent a uhaul at the white plains location which was awful. I finished the online process at 8:29am for an 8:30am pickup. Rented the truck for 6 hours. I was called at a few minutes after 9am to say that i lost my rental because I did not pick it up. If they could call a few minutes after 9am to tell me this, why couldn't they call at 8:45am to ask if I still was interested in the rental and should they keep if or release it. Why call after the fact? Why ask if you are running late and hold the reservation. From a customer service standpoint, uhaul or this specific location was awful. I spoke with enrique at the virginia road location in White Plains, NY. That location needs to retrain their employeesTami S.

The truck I ordered was not there even though I was told it would be. It took over an hour to resolve the problem and then I was told I would get a rebate as I had to take a 15' truck instead of a 20' truck. The smaller truck caused my move to take an extra day and I had to pay another day of labor for my move and didn't get the discount. I was extremely unhappy with the results of working woth your company. I will be moving again and cannot justify using UHaul again. I hope you would be able to change my mind on this.Mary Anne C.

I don't recall his name, but the man who rented me the truck was a complete professional and answered every question and made the stressful experience of moving MUCH LESS stressful!!! Thank you!!! One issue was when I arrived there as no one at the counter. He came in 6 to 8 minutes after i arrived at 10 am. I noticed him out in the lot at a truck after a couple minutes of being there.John T.
