The truck was empty when I got it, and takes too long if you use a card, took 100 dollar deposit still waiting on return
antonio sLock box was extremely difficult to open, check engine light was on in truck and fuel was almost empty at pickup, additional rented equipment was not included as requested.

David Spaid for dolly, but there was none in the truck. The service and person at the rental location was great. I think this was just overlooked.

Jeffrey WMy entire experience for picking up this Uhaul truck was the wrost experience and inconvenience I have had while trying to move. This location was the 2nd attempt at getting a Uhaul after I had to cancel and reserve a new reservation because at the first location did not have a lock box to get the key or anyone present at any of the buildings adjacent for what was supposed to be a mobile pick up (which I was never informed of prior to changing my original reservation due to travel issues the first time). This 2nd location and attempt to get a truck had my mother and I drive another 20 minutes further away from our house to load up the Uhaul. While heading to the 2nd location, we were told the guy at the store for the in-person transaction and pick up of the truck would be back at 5. As we got there a little earlier than 5, we waited from 4:45 until 5:35 on a Friday afternoon until he arrived where we were finally able to get a truck. Matt, the employee of the store, was very nice and helpful once he arrived. Understand that life and things happen, but this was a 2 hour delay for me moving from AL to TX. The mobile app and online website gave me an error message each time I tried to do the mobile pick up at the first location. I will not be using UHAUL as my first choice for moving assistance in the future and I will let it be known to others that ask be aware of this possibly happening. Please do better in the future to avoid customer service issues and inconveniences for people using your products to move across states or whatever business it may be. This was completely inconveniencing for both my mom and myself as we both took off work this Friday afternoon to start loading up the truck and begin our move and travel back to TX.
Neil GGot charged for gas that I replaced and also once again U-Haul told me they had an appliance dolly but when I arrived there was not one.

Iris JI was guaranteed the 26ft box and got put with a 20. Called and asked for a trailer and they scheduled it in Bessemer, got there and couldn't get it due to the person scheduling it in Pelham. Called back and they told me there was nothing they could do. I got the unit with 3/4 tank of gas and I put 3/4 back in it and it still charged me an extra $18 for fuel! I'll never use uhaul again! I tried getting customer service on the phone… kept getting transferred around. Terrible customer service!

William HAt the last minute I was informed that there was not an appliance dolly available when it was confirmed via phone with a UHaul scheduler that 1 was reserved with the truck rental. The truck was horrible front end out of alignment, excessive vibration, interior was stinky and filthy, truck transmission shifted rough, cargo area nasty. Prayerfully God kept me covered. I will never rent another truck from U HAUL AGAIN!!

TARA HIf the option is given to turn in a truck anywhere is given... I should not be getting a text telling me where to take the truck. Uhaul did this and made it difficult to get truck turned in without several phone calls.

Mance TThis Store was filthy and the woman working the counter on 3/22/20 at 1pm was too lazy to walk outside because it was raining and she had her children at work to check me out when I returned. Instead she charged me a cleaning fee when there was absolutely nothing left in the vehicle. She was not ethical or honest and I will never go back to this dirty store.
Jason SThis is nothing against the location itself, but against UHaul. My pick up location changed 4 times over night because they couldn't get a 26' truck when I made the reservation 2 weeks prior, I had to settle for downgrading to a 20' truck and squeezing what I could into a friends pickup. On top of that their was no equipment available when I requested 2 dollies. There was only 35 furniture pads when I requested 4 dozen. This entire UHaul moving experience has been the worst I have ever had and I will never recommend UHaul to any of my friends or family.
