Cargo van not box truck had hay with smell of steer or cow mature all over back on matt and wheel wells. Hay all over and on door areas. They had washed the outside the inside was not clean, the stinch inside was terribile .

Carlos gWell I guess it was my fault - I'm over 65 and it was a very difficult move with my adult daughter who is severely disabled. I neglected to read the fine print regarding $1,19 per mile. I live about 6 miles from U-haul; I moved 2 miles from old home to new house. So, t on the truck and figured about 20 miles to a gallon - then put $20 of unleaded gas in truck. The young lady was very nice & explained the $1,19 a mile. Then I was charged over $30 on top of the $20 of gas I put in. I lost the paper so maybe I missed something... Other than that it was a pleasant experience. Merci.

justine mCustomer service was horrible and childish. Equipment shouldn't have never left the location in the condition that it was in. Blad separated tire with wires showing. Could have been deadly experience if the tire had blown with towing a classic car.

I was a repeat customer that already checked in and had license on file. It was really crappy to be on the side of the road picking this up prior to business opening.

Deborah RGive better explanation of returning after hours. The way I was originally told didn't match with what a different haul rep told me. I also told the gentleman I originally had issues with signing in and seeing my reservation. I reserved a utility dolly as well and had to go to a different location making 2 pick ups and 2 drop offs. The next location walked me through how to return and what website to go to as well. Your location has a QR code but it opened an error page multiple times. As a result, I returned the vehicle the way Natalie showed me at the other location.
Brittany TMy original site was changed to this one. They didn't have the dollies I asked for, which added costs in the form of extended time with the movers I hired. Same with when they lost the key to the only 26 foot truck, and it turned out another employee who wasn't there had left it in the mobile box that "is broken". I've moved around every 2 years for the last 14 years, and I've exclusively used Uhaul, and this was among the most stressful moving day transactions (and one of those was for a cross-country move...). Once we were on the road, my husband/passenger called other Uhaul locations to see if they had an appliance dolly that we could rent. None did, but the MLK location in Merced especially juked us: the person who answered the phone said "Yes we have one, but it's not in inventory and my boss would have to add it for me to rent it." My husband asked if he was going to ask his boss. No. My husband replied, "So effectively, you do not have an appliance dolly to rent." The employee said, "Yeah, you could say that." I can deal with mishaps, technology and logistics are hard and the people who are wrangling them are doing their best, but offering something I want and can't have? That sucks in a special way.

Employee seemed don't want any customer or something. She gave me a bad experience overall. Not happy with this location only.

Beth TI had a reservation 8/31/22 in Sonora,Ca to pick-up a 15' truck and a Vehicle Transport? that morning U-HAUL in Sonora let me know I had to go to Ceres, Ca one hr there and one hr back and about 3hrs? I didn't get to start using the truck till after lunch? I couldn't finish in time because I got such a late start and the guy in Harbour, ore told me he didn't have reservations for my vehicles but I would still have to pay for an extra day? what part of what happened to me do u think I should tell my friends? that's alot of not customer service for over $1 000?
