Provide the truck with a full tank of gas. I got it with 1/4 of a tank so i filled it up because i had to drive from ocala to st. Augustine to jacksonville. I used less than half a tank because i didn't know the mpg of the truck. This means I wasted about $25 worth of gas that I never used. If it was full at pickup I would just have to fill it back up. Other than that everything was good.

Lisa is my HERO - she bent over backwards to help me with a small truck rental so my daughter could move over a weekend during the hours that they are closed (we couldn't have done it without her) Lisa's efforts are greatly appreciated and you can rest assured we will be using this location for any future rentals !!!

I had problems with the mobile pick up and drop off. The website could not recognize my location even with location services on (in my phone). If the office associate had not still been there, I would not have been able to rent the truck. Also, when we got about a mile down the road, the service tire light came I. And also some sort of trailer light. I was not hauling a trailer so I do t know what that was about. I was also charged an extra $20 to have the office check in my returned truck even thought the Uhaul website was not picking up my location. I called and reported the issue to Uhaul once I returned the truck and the person I spoke to said they would note my account so I would not be charged. I will not use pick up or return by mobile again. A $20 rental turned into $85. I was told my amount would be $63. I was not satisfied with Uhaul. The location where I picked it up was fine and the person that helped me get the truck was wonderful. He stayed late to help me because the website was not working.

i drove 12.1 miles- returned it 3 hours due to trip cancelation they charged me 10.00 for gas - put 2 gal. gas in it - and 25.00 for cleaning fee - i would like my 35.00 back please

The only good thing i can say about this location is that Lisa is the best at what she does. Other than that i was charged 25.00 for them saying a truck was left dirty and with that i was never showed the pics by Ed or his boss Jason. I will continue to seek higher authority.

Since it was raining buckets of water, I had no ability to inspect the trailer I rented. The next day when the rain stopped, I discovered that this trailer had cracked and faded paint everywhere, rusty wheel rims, two of the four rear lights were pushed in from the grommets. I checked the data plate and discovered the trailer was built in 1991, 28 years ago. Does U-Haul have any kind of rebuild facility or do you rent the trailers until they self destruct on the highway? The procedures for renting the trailer were horrible and I was forced to data transmit my driver's license to a non-secure website with no SSL.(Data breach anyone???) I think next time I will just buy my own trailer. Overall, I was not satisfied.

The brakes on the trailer stuck on when I came to a complete stop. The tow vehicle we use to pull our 24ft boat and it's never been an issue. The two women that I interacted at both locations were extremely nice and helpful, thanks for making it so easy.

Since none of my complaints are addressed in the rating system here, I went ahead and gave the lowest possible ratings in an effort to push this review to the bottom of the pile. 1) When I reserved the trailer, the Express Check-In stated that uploading a photocopy of my driver license was optional. But when I arrived to pick up the trailer, they needed a copy of the license. That's fine, but this location had no means of making a copy and the only way for me to rent the trailer was for them to send a web link to my smart phone so I could upload a picture of my driver license. Not only is this different from the web interface I encountered when I reserved the trailer, but there was NO WAY for them to rent to me if I didn't have a smart phone with internet access. I know it's 2019 and most people probably have a smart phone, but this system REQUIRES it. That's just ridiculous. 2) When I complained that the system was outlandish, the manager of the location said, "You don't have to rent from us if you don't like it," and constantly complained about U-Haul's policy. "I hate U-Haul" was his exact words. He was correct that I don't have to rent from them, and I won't. There are two other locations just a minute or so further away and I'll be taking my business to them from now on. Of course, it could be that all these issues stem from U-Haul policies, in which case I may be finding a new source of equipment rental.

The pickup location was fantastic because the staff was incredibly kind and patient in working with us. Uhaul headquarters, however, was a nightmare, because their computer system was not allowing the pickup location to release the equipment we needed. Let me be clear, Sentry Storage Properties is a fantastic business - we've used multiple services with them in the past, each time finding their staff to be friendly and helpful, and especially in this case where we had trouble getting Uhaul to accept our information to release the trailer we were renting. Uhaul, however, was simply not working for us. Their system was down or not working properly, and they cost us close to 2 hours of waiting time! I cannot guarantee I'll be that patient next time I'm looking for moving assistance.

Taking a photo of my license with my own phone was absurd and a real pain. If you require a photo of my ID then you should have a scanning or camera set up at all your locations. Not everyone owns a smart phone.
