after hours drop off...no issues. never was refunded the extra days I prepaid and didn't use

rakynia cI went to the place I was assigned to pick up my trailer, and they did not have my reservation. And they told me that sometimes they switch locations and don't let them know. So I had to go to a different location to pick up my trailer. And when I picked up my trailer, they didn't even have the right hitch size, even though I entered it in correctly on the computer. And when they gave us the trailer before we found out it didn't work, they just sent me out to go do it myself. They had nothing to help lift the trailer nor did they offer any help. They actually had to flag down a man on a bicycle after I requested help, because there were no maintenance men in the area. We took a truck instead of a trailer, but it did change our plans. I just feel like a company should have a little bit more organization than it did.
Rachel WMileage for my one way rental was insufficient. They said they could not modify my contract to add more mileage. The drop off place said they could have. Not sure why they felt they couldn't help. 40 miles took me from their place to the supposed drop off place with no extra mileage. A person typically rents to go pickup their goods at another location to drop off at another location. I should have received at least another 25 miles to give me some leeway to pickup and dropoff my belonging from one storage unit (not the pickup of truck) to my drop off at another storage unit (where I ended up leaving the truck). Also, when I made my reservation the site would not allow me to drop off at a location where I had a storage unit reserved. That option was not allowed, yet they rent Uhaul trucks. Please teach these people how to modify a reservation when it makes sense.

carol sThis is the third time I have written. Truck cab was filthy. Left rear tire was flat - Location would not replace with another truck and could not fix tire. I found a location with free air and filled the tire. Back of the truck was full of dirt and had to be cleaned out before I would load furniture. This U Haul location did nothing.

Carrie JVehicle was not swept properly. I had to sweep the vehicle before return. Also process is complicated for a new person to rent via self service. Almost all locations in the area were closed on Sunday. Mostly people need these vehicles on weekends.
Usman WLocation was so ghetto. Girls behind the glass were very nice. Customers around me , not so much. Tow dolly worked perfectly though. Merci!

They also told me they didn't have the size truck I wanted & it was right there. Then to get my rental and the tire light was on. I had to get out in the cold air to add tire. That should've been done. They act like they was paying for the uhaul. A waste of money
LASONDRA CThe locations in Seaford (and Georgetown Rt 113N) are borderline -acceptable. What has happened to credible businesses? Anyway, I had to travel to Georgetown for the 15ft truck, and those mes counted against my overall rental! I'm thankful to rent what was needed but the cost is crazy.

STEVEN MMy reservation was supposed to be at another location, and I validated 3 times prior during the same week it would be there. 1 hour before I was to pick up I was called and notified they couldn't help me and I had to call the Uhaul 800 number. I was moved to this location farther away at the last moment, and the people barely spoke English. Terrible experience all around.
