I reserved a truck in Fort morgan and had to drive an hour further down I 76 to pick up my truck in sterling. Surely theres got to be a better way to do this u haul is just to greedy to spend the money on the fleet or the software.

Owner made arrangements to meet me an hour before opening, but he forgot. We had 8 people ready to help us load, but no vehicle. Once he got there the card reader wouldn't red my card, so after several attempts I had to use a different card. When I started the truck there was a terrible noise, so went in and asked owner to come check it out. He came out and discovered it was low on power steering fluid. He went in to get some, after several minutes came out and informed me he didn't have any but he would meet me at Walmart and get some. So my vehicle that I expected to have and be on my way by 8:15, I finally got at 9:25. He did apologize for being late, but I think if he had offered to comp the two packs of pads that I rented, it would have made the hassles easier to accept. As is, I would not use nor recommend this store.

The truck I reserved 4 a relocation move and confirmed the week of the move was not available the morning of the move. My driver was sent to another U-Haul location. And then had to wait 3 hours beyond the pickup time and was sent back to the original location to get the truck at the original location. This three-hour delay resulted in arriving Steamboat Springs in the evening past time to have electricity available. That resulted in $320 Hotel expenses for the driver and for my family All Because You Haul failed to meet the reservation requirements and the confirmed pick up date and time at the Sterling location.

I had submitted online a question to U-Haul regarding a possible need to change locations of the return of the vehicle I rented. I did not receive any response, which was disheartening and unfortunate.
