When somebody makes a reservation that included dollies, blankets, etc, it would be nice that those things were available at the pick up location. I was forced to drive to another location to pick up these items, which put me over the allowable free mileage,

The owner Mr Young offered excellent customer service!!! Very helpful! He went over and beyond explaining features in the truck. He was considerate to call and inform me that the truck was going to be late and then called that it came in. Appreciated his efforts! Very personable !

I rented a utility dolly for $7. I told the person working there I'd be back in a few hours. He said they close at 5pm. I got there at 4pm, and the office door was open, but the security/metal barred door was locked. No one was there to found. I waited 20 mins. Called several times; no answer. There was another lady there hoping he'd come back so she could rent a van; she ended up doing it online on her phone. Another guy waited around then left. I had an appointment so I had to call U-Haul and move my return to another location, which meant dropping it off another day--more time and work. I have nothing against U-Haul, but that guy really should have been at work. One of the neighbors there said he disappears sometimes. How can you run a business and not be there? I'm not mad, but that guy should be made aware of being absent at work is not cool--he didn't even put up a "I'll be back" sign.

I need to dispute the fuel charge on the most recent rental, and wanted to discuss another situation that I hope you can help me with. I do not disputed the end fuel level, however when I rented the vehicle it was only halfway full so I do not think I should be charged for the whole tank. Also, when I tried to return the vehicle as scheduled on Sunday, the owner of Ship It was not there to accept the vehicle and there was nowhere to leave it even though the business was listed as open. I called Uhaul customer service and while they did not charge me for keeping it an extra day to return the vehicle the following day, I had to take time off of work and use two Ubers to make the return as the ride I had arranged to pick me up the day before was not available. If there is someway to make this right either through reimbursement of my Ubers or a discount on the overall rental charge I’d really appreciate it.

Return process was a little confusing. Door was open but screen door locked. Lockbox for key drop-off was unlocked with other keys in it. Would have appreciated someone being at the office or setting up a more secure key drop off.

Whoever was running this location was VERY slow. I walked in and sat down and waited 15 minutes for him to come to the desk and help me. The following day when I was returning the vehicle the entrance was locked, I rang the doorbell once and waited 15 minutes for someone to come out. A little unprofessional as this is a business.

Irate customer service when returned clean vehicle with my nine year old daughter. Customer service rep, who was pleasant when I picked up the vehicle, upon returning, screamed at me through a locked gate when I asked for a receipt, saying repeatedly "I'm on the air," "you can check it in yourself," "I'm too busy." My daughter said she felt unsafe and I did too. Disappointed in UHaul customer service and an indication that the company that stood for customer service, quality and friendliness is no longer a brand on solid ground.

The online checkin process worked, but it took a really long time and I found it dangerous/unusual that the key to the truck was not in a lock box ... but just left fully unlocked in the cab. The store was not open for any in-person assistance. If some of the online checkin process steps could be completed before arriving at the location, that would have been better and caused less frustration.

Difficult to find and I was mischarged. Didn't get a response until I called the main UHaul line.

Rerouted to three different locations. At the last location, the front door was open but was blocked by an iron bar door which was locked so we could not enter. The office lights were off and the owner's dog was in the office - looked sick and was left without water (the day was hot). The lockbox door was ajar and could not close as the lock was set - so we couldn't leave the key. Waited for the owner to return for 20 minutes, finally called the pickup location for advice. I explained that we were from out of town and still had a four-hour drive ahead of us and could no longer wait for the owner to return. She tried calling the two numbers that she had for this office - no answer. I asked her to mark our job ticket with the location we placed the truck key (in the "Mail" box) and left. Very disappointing experience.

The location was awesome The equipment was awesome The pricing is awesome But the mobile app is terrible: I spent an hour and a half attempting to use the return function, kept getting white pages with nothing happening, or a white page with red bar saying tap to refresh, meanwhile refreshing leads to last page.. and I had 5 bars LTE and all websites had no issue (was able to watch a YouTube video so it’s not reception)

I've rented from U-Haul a number of times during the 30-years I've lived in LA and today was, by far, the most disappointing customer service experience I've ever had. Period. And I'm not talking about a poor experience with a UHaul representative, I'm talking about a poor experience between a customer and a business that I've personally witnessed. First off, I'm not just any other client that might look up the closest UHaul rental to my current location or destination, I'm a neighbor that passes this specific business twice a day, every day of the year since they opened. When I saw this location open-up as a UHaul rental I was genuinely happy for them. Now, I see why this location has zero Yelp reviews and quite frankly, that's a good thing considering my interaction with the guy in the office. It all started when I walked into the establishment saying that I was there to drop-off my UHaul and Ricky (office guy) wasn't expecting a drop-off. That's when I figured that my original pick-up site wasn't able to give a heads-up to this particular drop-off site. Had this step happened, I think it would've avoided a lot of the tension that Ricky and I experienced today. It appeared from the get-go that Ricky wasn't too keen on accepting my drop-off. He acted as if it was a huge inconvenience to get inventory for a future rental. I was dumbfounded. I told him that I lived down the street and that I thought he'd appreciate a neighbor's business. He told me that it would be cheaper for me to return the 10-foot truck to the location I got it. When I asked him how could it possibly be cheaper to return it to UHaul of Pico Rivera (20 miles away) he replied that I was being "nit picky". Wait what?!? I get it, Ricky, was having a bad day and he felt that I was "nit picky". When I asked him "why are you so aggravated with me ...I'm trying to give you business?" he was not having it at all and annoyingly replied, "you're just being so nit picky and you don't know what I've gone through this morning". Ricky was absolutely right and I acknowledged that point with him. When i said, "I'm just trying to understand why you're turning away a neighbor's business and why you're mad about it" he interestingly responded "I don't care if you're my neighbor, you don't know me, you don't know if I'm upset..if you think that, you should keep it to yourself...that's what men do!" After we finished-up the transaction, Ricky's parting shot to me was "...and just so you know, I didn't make anything on your return!". Wow, OK Ricky. I relay this experience for a couple of reasons. There may be operational opportunities to be able to drop-off trucks impromptu to different locations from a customer's-convenience standpoint. If the drop-off locations are not incentivized at all to take inventory, then the process could use improvement. If, however, the incentive is that the drop-off location has inventory to rent-out for future business than this specific

1. Small location. Had 1 truck 2. I refilled to my truck & still got charged for gas! Now i have to WASTE MY PREVIOUS AND SCARCE TIME TO GET MY MONEY BACK. So activating and avoidable. Why didn't he just LOOK AND CHECK the papers to see I filled it up? I even put in slightly more than needed!!

Very nice and professional owner (plus he has a sweet dog). Only critique is less about location maybe and more about reservation over the phone is that I was told I could reserve two dollies and furniture pads, then when I got to the location, they only had one dolley available and no pads. Seems like there's some miscommunication between the phone service/online system and the actual location. Ended up working fine, but just a thing to note.

The owner of the shop was not there. Even though I signed up using mobile sevice he wasn't there to hand me the key. I kept calling and no answer. After I invstigated teh key was in the truck on driver seat with door unlocked. Very unsafe. I then had no where to park my car since there was street cleaning. I parked next to the busines since I was a customer. The owner calls me 30 minutes later that he's going to tow my car if I don't move it! Ugh. He knows I'm out moving my furniture. I was so frantic that he was going to tow it I had to race back there spend more mileage and time that I had to pay for. It was very inconvenient, the owner was rude. Very Unprofessional.

The attendant at this location was unprofessional in completely misunderstood my initial request. I was charged for a one way U-Haul rental when I explicitly stablished verbally that I would be returning the vehicle to its original pickup location. I was overcharged by 58.77 dollars and after contacting several parties I still have not received my refund.

Needed a rental first thing in the morning. Staff opened the doors a little early to accommodate me. Paperwork was completed timely. Picking up and returning the vehicle was easy, both staff were polite, friendly, helpful and professional. This folks treat a customer the way it should be, will be my first choice for future rentals.

Greetings~ Thank you for the truck rental and emailing my receipt. However, I was surprised that I was charged for fuel. At the time of rental I was informed to return the car on half. At the time of rental I informed the agent that the fuel level was NOT at 1/2 and he said to return it to the same level of which I did. Thus, after receiving the invoice via email; to my surprise I was charged for fuel. I should not have been charged, I stopped and refueled to the level that it was when I picked the truck up. Additionally, I asked at the time of drop off were we ok and he stated yes. I am requesting a REFUND for the fuel. I can be reached via email or phone 323.270.6067. Rick was very nice. I was told I could pick the truck up at 8am but the location was closed until 9am. Rick still let me pick up the truck even though it wasn’t his mistake. Very nice and easy!

I was scheduled to collect the uHaul at a different location at 5PM - a few minutes after 5PM I get a call that I need to go to a different location to pick up the uHaul. I was told I am going to be given a credit for the inconvenience - I'll keep an eye out for that. Upon arrival at the other location, the man working there made extremely offensive comments asking if I was Jewish and what my father did for a living. Completely unprofessional and extremely offensive. I hope I receive an email back for a manager or director - this is not a good representation for uHaul. If not, I will be following up.
