Doug Lthe reserved moving truck was given to me abusive ex, last vehicle in town. the reservation for myself was changed to his friends address, I was listed as the primary driver using his license number - I DO NOT DRIVE - the result.. the Ex James Lee Balla ... a manipulative toxic monster who has NOTHING TO DO WITH MY ACTUAL ADDRESS.... 5507 Lombardy Lane Osoyoos,BC both 1v3 and the moving truck and storage unit were reserved in my name with my visa debt because my house was foreclosed on and July 31 at noon was the closing .... I had movers set up storage and a driver. the vehicle was going to be packed and moved before hand. INSTEAD he set up camp at my house broke in until the wee hours of the morning . for over 36 hours he tormented me, broke things threw things took out a door and a window so I couldn't keep him out. lRCMP were called 6 times. the Sixth time const. Greenfield yelled, screen called me horrid names told me If i fuking called again I was going to be jailed .. name more... after he left that monster went off the rails. I was terrorized. by the time noon came I had very little packed that he didn't unpack. AS A RESULT OF UHALS ACTION I LOST EVERYTHING .... ALL PERSONAL POSESSIONS ART Art appliances a library of books everything all clothing shoes, didn't even have a toothbrush... EVERYTHING . WELL IOVER $200,000; of MY POSSESSIONS alone. appliance package alone was worth $100 000 AND THE OWNERS ARE DUMPING DONATING OR SELLING OFF THIS IS A UHAUL FAUKT. THE Punitive Damages ALL on U-Haul. I have nothing, not a blanket, family letters cards EVERYTHING. I have nothing .. I am hiding out in a hotel I cannot afford and can only stay until Sunday ... we have no where to go... we... me and my two dogs. the years of abuse and years of healing fell out the window and I am now reliving everything. affidavits of the events have been filed .... U-Haul destroyed. whatever was left of me my peace my hope, part of my core ..... unbelievable. this is media worthy. and supreme civil worthy. that I'm working on. this is unreal.
Tracy DHow about moving into the car rental business, there's nowhere near here to rent a car. I needed a small car rental for a recent trip to Quesnel but we live in Osoyoos and the nearest car rental is in Penticton.

Sharron LI wish U-Haul adds to its line of trailers a flat bed trailer of size 8x12 to haul fruit bins to packing houses. Specially in locations that serve fruit farming community. A flat bed truck to fleet would also be a welcome addition. Small farm owner cannot justify this investment cost. Just a suggestion
Ejaz AWe have used U-Haul several times before and have found generally good service, but this rental experience exceeded all other U-Haul experiences. Our need was unique ánd unconventional and Gene went far beyond expectations to help out. And then checked the next day to make sure all was well. Gene made sure we had everything we needed and accommodated our late schedule. And he treated other customers with the same care and accommodation. He could not have done better.

gareth jEven though this time I rented a trailer pull behind. The previous times I rented a truck with cargo area. I think all of your trucks should have CD players or something that can be linked to your phone so you can have music when you're driving to places where there is no radio service. It would just make the experience more pleasant.

ALLAN JHave someone there to talk to . Closed Saturday afternoon. Quick to charge for 13 extra miles but yet to see a credit for the extra 1/4 fill of fuel left over. Will do everything I can not to use Uhaul ever again.

Robert BGetting ahold of anyone to book or pick up equipment is impossible. They never phone back when leaving messages and not reliable at all. This is difficult as people trying to plan and deal with major life things. The excuses such as phone was dead are tough to swallow , several days go by and no reply from voice messages. Walk in and get " oh was just about to call you back "

Don SThis is related to uhaul overall - I will never use this company again! I had reserved a truck and auto transport 2 months in advance, and the day before I was to be sent 4 hrs away to get the truck. After hours of back and forth with the unhelpful USA call centre, and my own research, I found a truck 2 hrs away - but the auto transport was 3 hrs away in yet another direction!!! I am a single person who doesn't have help to drive all over BC to get the equipment, so I now have to fly back to my previous location (I moved provinces) to get my vehicle. This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had with moving companies, and I would NOT recommend them, especially for long distance moves. Do better uHaul!!!

Jennifer CMore of a client problem - marker lights were corroded and inoperable. Not a problem because I was travelling during daylight but still surprising it hadn't been flagged yet given the advanced state of corrosion. Indicates previous users weren't doing a pre-trip walkaround inspection. Otherwise the equipment was clean and in excellent shape.
