Karolla RThe trailer is never in the location it's been reserved - it's always an hour away. Sometimes it's not a big deal, but it always takes more time and fuel than required. This time o needed to drop it somewhere else, and that took several calls over 2 days to get completed, but it worked well once we found the right person at uhaul.
craig fThe right hand mirror needs to be repaired/secured to the mounting arm. The mirror would loosen and turn outward making it impossible to see anything on the rightside of the vehicle.

He was very thorough in explaining truck the rental works mentioning to make sure to check the unit out before and writing the mileage down. The unit was clean and all worked well. John FYes, Sierra in osoyoos is good. Trailer had something like old cement, couldn't get off, wasted car wash money trying. Hard to book when needing quick in middle of work. Web not goodforbooking trailers. Also wants to correspond by phone after booking, also not good for me. Bit of tweaking. Less is more with technogy, but good come back uhaul!

Carol KWe rented a 26’ truck on Nov.29. The local dealer provided great service. But, as we drove we found there was a problem with the transmission. On the highway, the truck ran fine. But, in town, when slowing down to approach a corner, the truck would not gear down, so that as you went around the corner the truck remained in 5th gear and the motor would just bog down, unable to turn over a tranny in 5th gear, until the truck was going slow enough (10 km/hr) then the tranny would shift and you could start to go. This was a dangerous situation. Coming through Sicamous, BC on to Hwy 1, is a merge. As we tried to pull onto the hwy, the tranny had still not shifted and instead of speeding up the truck just went slower. This truck needs a tranny over haul. Everything else about the truck and the service at both ends was great, but this truck, and sorry I don’t know the number, needs to be pulled and serviced. The second truck I rented showed me how these trucks were to function. It was perfect! I hope this is helpful and that truck can get the servicing it desperately needs. Phil
