Bad cell service so the checkout process was very long and challenging. I ordered moving blankets but got none. I was charged for them though.

Justin HLiked the remote pick up however when I didn't pick up at the original time I wasn't notified about anything. I had to change my reservation to a later pick up but had to figure that out on my own. Then was on hold for a while to get the key because the site said it required additional information. After all that debacle it was good until after I turned the truck back in. I picked it up after 1200 noon. So I should have had until 1200 noon to return it. I don't know what additional charges I incurred and have no way to find that out that I have been able to get to. I returned it with EXACTLY the same amount of fuel that I picked it up with. I would like to know what additional charges were incurred and why please?

Elizabeth MAs discussed in Temple I needed to drop off car transport first so I could go to storage and unload truck. Location down the street that I was requested was told when I got to Montgomery would not take equipment. Sending me to a difficult dealer to get into plus I left at 9:30 from Temple U-Haul and got to Montgomery U-Haul at 12:30. Sign on door said closed at 11:00. So I had to just go to Storage so the truck could be unloaded pull auto transport. MovingHelp was suppose to be there at 12:00 to 1:00. At about 1:15 I called with no answer so used daughter phone and answered phone not reconized. Told me calling movers in a text. I called back for eta said 30-45 minutes. Wasn't except able so I canceled them. Someone else unloaded truck on Monday and returned truck/auto transport on Monday as well. U-Haul place had to be called on Tuesday to let them know Auto transport was return at same time. Got email to return the transport. Efficient NOT Was not happy with U-Haul or Moving help in Montgomery Tx
Dave MI had to drop of in a pasture next to a house, with limited cell service. That the sending location said they would be open to day. When I got there. There was a paper sign on door saying closed on tuesdays. So I sat there getting eaten by mosiquites to down load an app so I don't have to pay $20. ...I had booked the pick up and drop off location 6 weeks ago. and with 12 hours uhaul sent me to a new pickup 15 miles away and some pasture to drop off. will not use uhail ever again... what the point of pre booking if .. uhaul changes things on their wim does not tell me and then holds me to their locations and the same cost.

james cIt should have stated on your web site very clearly that all trailers only have a 4 pin connector. I have a 7 pin and it requires an adapter which I didn't have but the dealer was gracious enough to let me borrow one.

sandi mDirt lot, with dirt everywhere as was a landscaping business as well, off the beaten path. Tiny office is a shed. Pricing is really high for rental, mileage and insurance.

Eric SRain rott on tires due to sitting in mudd . I had flat tire, blow out of tire and broken latch, and strap over tire broke! Cost me extra milage u charged me additional 14,02 for! I had to stay in hotel over night duu to blow out on tire, then get to drop off supervisor at store says we are gonna charge u for unhooking the trailer!"

Jason MThe drop-off location is in the country and has a surprising number of equipment. There were no attendants at the site so I was on my own and used the drop-off app to make the drop. Fortunately, I was physically capable of unhitching the trailer from the ball - if I could not physically do this (which many people likely could not), I would have been stuck wondering how to dehitch the 6x12 trailer with no help. Nowhere did U-Haul warn me that I'd have to dehitch the trailer by myself, nor provide me or advise me that i might need a jack or a hitch stand to do so. This is a caution to others who may need help with the dehitching process. The remote dropoff process was theoretically good, although the remote location presented challenges in gaining internet access - which is crucial to complete the process. Uploading the images, which must be taken and uploaded in sequence is presumptuous. My last image didn't upload correctly so I was left watching a spinning wheel of upload death, wondering if my return was being properly logged. It all worked out, but was unnecessarily stressful. I gave the entire process an average rating, although the theoretical online process was great, while the actual implementation left a lot to be desired.

Bart BIt would be better if the Car hauler had a winch in the front for cars that do not run. I had to have a team of people to push the car onto the trailer, which is not ideal.

Tyler MThe surge brake on the trailer is defective. Stops and starts resulted in a pretty touch jerk. Would be a hazard on wet roads. That is why the no rating on the equipment. Every thing else excellent!!!
ELBERT SOriginally priced for rental at $130. Returned a day late and charged $214. Not equitable at all. I expected an extra day. Not $84.
Rebecca CKind of off the beaten path but the gentleman that runs it is friendly. The lot is a bit small with not a lot of room to maneuver but he makes it work.

Chris HI've rented from U-haul many times in the past and they have all been pleasurable experiences. As for my most recent rental on 7/28/23, I have to mention that the service I received was better than I expected. I would most definitely return to this site and recommend it to family and friends.
Vincenzo GNot so much this location but U-Haul it's self. This is the third rental that either my pick-up or drop off location has changed (and not the first time that it's been by over an hour). My biggest complaint is that neither the scheduler from dispatch nor the pickup location explained that when I drove an hour one way to get my trailer that I would have to return it to the same location which cost me another 2+ hours drive time and gas. What's really bad is the local U-Haul location a had the trailer both the day I picked it up and the same trailers in the same spot when I returned it. And the response from customer support is "oh sorry there is nothing. We can do but give you an extra day."

Eryn BThis location seemed to never be open. 1: I returned the car transport a day early and was charged for turning it in after hours. It was midday during the workweek and I had called and the guy answered and only said they were at lunch. That no one was there to check in at the moment. 2: I returned the U-Haul at 1pm on June 29 and they have it noted that it was after hours and on July 1st! 3: The building is a shack. High grass that you have to drive through, when you call to ask a question as simple as which tiny gravel road to turn into to return your rental they make fun of you and tell you to just drive it through the high grass if the rock road isn't big enough for you!! 4:I had no problem with the rental process in Belton. But moving and returning to Small Size Buildings on Capital Hill in Conroe, Tx was a terrible experience. U-Haul I believe they aren't doing your name justice and Correctly!
