I felt there was no customer service at all. The person who served me whilst I was picking up my uhaul truck did not want to even get of his chair at 9 AM in the morning. I requested to add an extra driver, he said 'its fine, you dont need that its all covered' I am sure it is not if the other driver unfortunately hit someone. Not by law. He then simply handed the keys and here you go. He did not even move from the desk let alone assisting. I collected the keys and as I tried to drive out felt some difficulty in trying to understand the gear shift, I requested for help. He turned up with an awful attitude and instead of assisting said he may have to cancel the reservation just because he did not want to help. Also probably he had to move from his desk to help his customer. Appalling behavior. As I left I realized the tank was not as much full as it stated on the paperwork, clearly because this person did not bother to check before he handed the vehicle to his customer or was too lazy to do so. I just filled it up to avoid any more confrontations after a long day.I tried to find out his name upon returning my truck and I was informed it was Ken who served me. Based on my experience he must be thoroughly trained before let in front of customers. On the contrary on Wednesday 10/9 I was served by Todd, who was great! and did a great job!

Absolutely nothing could improve my experience! The office was exceptional- clean, bright, restrooms, coffee...choice of products to help moving. Check- in was fast & friendly. Check- out the same & efficient. Summer, your Service Personnel, was AMAZING!!!! Todd was also there to assist her. Thanks so much for a stressless rental??

The front desk girl was extremely rude and threw the papers at me. She apologized and said she looked it on camera later and she could see how in fact she threw the papers at me. She doesn’t say please or thank you to customers. Terrible!

I can no longer trust UHAUL as a reliable source for my business use of rental vehicles. Here is an example of my last two reservations this past week: 1.)Reserve a van online at my chosen location. 2.)Receive an email confirming the reservation at my chosen location. 3.) Then receive a voicemail confirming my reservation at some random establishment 30 minutes drive away. 4.) Attempt to call the establishment to find out if I no longer had a reservation at my preferred location or if a mistake had taken place. (This resulted in being on hold twice for a total of 45 minutes. After finally reaching someone they then confirm that my original reservation at the Solana Beach location was intact and they do not know why I received the call from a different location). 5.) Show up with my workers at my original confirmed reserved location only to have the attendant tell me they have no record from UHAUL for my reservation and no vehicles were available. 6.) After then having to scramble to rent private vehicles from another company, I receive a call from a location 30 minutes freeway driving away telling me I was late for my reservation. 6.) After returning to my office and checking my email I see a confirmation from ANOTHER location 45 minutes drive time from me. Not only is your system dysfunctional, it is completely unreliable at a time when people need to operate in a time efficient and methodical manor. You as a company should recognize this fact.

It's really not the locations fault - it's U-Haul's fault. I reserved 12 moving blankets, and they had none. I had to buy two blankets and bubble wrap and the people there could care less about U-Haul. They said "We don't work for UHaul and UHaul has awful service". They were not very friendly. It worked out ok and I was able to return one blanket, but still paid $40. It was not a great experience.
