Your 24/7 pick up was not working,it not letting me to upload photo.luckily there was a staff available. She helped me. Last time a week ago when i booked 10 feet Uhaul they changed my pickup location to 28 km away wthout any messages. Whe i reached there 24/7 pick was not working and there was no staff. i tried to call customer and i waste almost 2 hours there i was ver disappointing it ruined all my plans.ANOOP J.

The back of the truck has some moving garbage in it (cardboard boxes, bubble wrap, etc. Otherwise the truck was very clean and pickup was super easy.Katharine L.

Wiper blade on driver side was ragged and scraped on windshield ... very annoying as it was raining off and on during trip. Back of van was not swept out, was messy, I had to sweep it before loading. Mobile pickup was not available even though it was confirmed on my order. Dolly was not in van on pickup, I had to drive back to the location to get it.Bill R.

The address listed is not the ACTUAL location. That information in no where in emails or on the site. A kind man who saw me distraught (after 30 minutes) let me know I had to go down a different street and to the back. The website through my iPhone kept bumping me out so I was an hour after reservation time getting into my truck! Rental was excellent and drop off-website kept bumping me out and wouldn't accept some pictures. Had to call and luckily talked to a wonderful lady Vicky who helped me. She accepted the return photos through email. Would never recommend this for folks. It should have been quick and easy which is was not at all. Plus I lost an hour of my short timeGayton F.

Overall, the experience was very easy and efficient. The only thing I would suggest is to have the gas tank full upon rental, as it would make things a little easier for replacing gas if tank was full upon rental. Regardless, everything worked out fine and the Customer Service rep at the Victoria St Guelph location was extremely friendly and helpful. The van was very clean as well. Merci.Shara I.

I was completely misled by the sales person and the advertising. I thought I was getting the cargo van for 19,95 $ with 150 km INCLUDED. I was very forthright with the sales person that called to confirm my request that I did not want to pay too much as we are a not-for-profit animal shelter. Also, I requested the location closest to the shelter but was directed over 20 km away to another location as they couldn't get a cargo van there - I gave over a week's notice.Lisa P.

The items we had rented were not in the truck--unfortunately the store was closed due to pandemic. I would have appreciated to know that ahead of time. The self pick-up process needs to be streamlined. Web sign in was not user friendly. But it was probably due to the pandemic.Theresa M.

The facility was fine, the staff amazing and very friendly. Issue with the truck ... it wasn't serviced and broke down. Some Place Safe was quick to respond and connected me with the area manager, Zach. The customer service from the location and from Zach, the UHaul area manager, was perfect. Zach was a pleasure to work with. He was very patient and understanding of my frustrations, given it took 5 hours to fix the truck, and hence the move was 5 hours delayed. Zach effectively diffused a tense and sensitive situation.Louise S.

I requested a pickup truck at Some Place Safe. I got a confirmation email from U-Haul that said "Your order is confirmed." In very small print it added that the truck would be at a different location on the other side of the city - I didn't notice until I went to pick up the truck at SPS and they didn't have it. This was needlessly confusing and very inconvenient. Luckily the folks at SPS had a cargo van that I was able to use instead. I would have appreciated better communication from U-Haul about where I could pick up the vehicle I requested, or alternatives if it would be unavailable.Matthew M.

The drop off area was very confusing to navigate. I went to the address, ended up at the storage unit. By chance I found the back parking lot where the trucks needed to be dropped off. There was no signage indicating where to go to drop the truck off, and the instructions sent to me had no details of this. Even after I dropped the truck off, I only knew this was the spot because there were other trucks, otherwise I would not have known. By chance I found the drop box for the key and contract. The mobile app was not working and also did not allow me to upload me gas meter and odometer. I called uhaul after I dropped the truck off to send them the pictures I took. Despite doing this, the location still charged me for a gas fillup. I had to call in and the customer service representative saw the pictures matched what I got the van with. Overall, this is the last time I'm using uhaul. My initial reservation was changed with me being properly notified. I had to drive out of town to get a truck and pay more gas out of my own pocket. The manager I spoke with to make this correction did seem to care much for my problem and was very passive about the situation. I had to call uhaul on the phone way too many times about this, very poor experience. I will gladly spend more money to avoid all this mishaps. This isn't the first time I've had these issues with uhaul, I've had an issue on nearly every reservation I've made in the past.Imtiaz A.
I had to call the 1888 number to verify pricing as when I booked it the price was 169 for a 20 ft truck. But when I had to pay the price came up to over 300.00. That is when I started to argue as the price was 169.00. The girl was not even going to do anything so I called the 1888 number myself. Long story short was it went to over 300 due to u haul letting me have the truck for 3 days and they added in extra milage. It did go back down to the 169 after taking off the extra days and extra mileage. The girl behind the desk while talking to the 1888 number was almost roiling her eyes as the woman on the phone going over the 169 price I was given. This was a way way haul. To find the office location was difficult as it was in a building location amongst 30 other business. You have to drive around searching for the correct building then the correct door to go in etc. I would not go back due to location difficulties finding and lack of customer service at this location. I would also suggest if your to buy their tape for boxes..don't. Go to home depot and buy it there.. better quality and you use less than the u haul tape. U haul had good boxes at a fair price. Also I did receive a one month free storage which was included in the 169 truck rental price and I did take advantage of that.Patricia S.
