Ryan H.we wanted to pick up in Dothan and it got changed to 25 miles away I had to call to get the extra mileage. This owner shared with me why he got the reroute and was very nice. He opened up just for our pickup. Disappointed in the reservation part of the experience. Stores should not have the choice to force us to go to another location because they Don't want a smaller job.
William R.Overall Southern Automotive is satisfactory. The equipment was in poor condition. Subfloor seeds shot out of the defroster when I turned it on, nail clippings in the seats, over run with ants, and the windshield wiper flow off during a storm. Not to mention the check engine light came on half way thru my trip. I replaced the wiper at the next truck stop. When I picked up the truck Southern Automotive informed me the truck was a recovery and that people were living in it as early as the day before. Uhaul must ensure the safety and cleanliness of its vehicles prior to renting them back out.

Julia B.He was rude, told me I need to get a bigger phone because I couldn't see the email contract. I ask him too print it for me but said his printer wasn't hooked up, and then I said I'll call uhaul and then he printed it out. He didn't show me the inside of the truck and it was parked so far from the building, I had to drive to get too it. He wasn't nice, but my truck was clean when I checked it. I wouldn't want to go their again to get a uhaul.

Samuel F.The trailer had a taillight out when I got it, they attempted to fix it on the spot. It worked when I left, but the fix didn't hold. It stopped working while I was pulling the car and I was pulled over for improper lights.

ROBERT T.The location I got the truck from was great. I called a different office that was closer to my resident where I was moving from thinking that was where I would pick up the truck. I got a text message stating the pick up location was about 6 miles from my home. To say the least I was not pleased with the service. When I drove by the location I had contacted to reserve the truck they had a truck sitting on their lot.
james M.The place first sent me 20 minutes down the road only to return to the same location took right at 3 hours to get the contract done the guy working the computer didn't have a clue then I open the truck the smell of roach spray was overwhelming ants and roaches all over the inside of the truck

The part that really makes this shop outstanding was the service by both owner and the rest of the team. The assistance I received and the friendly, professional, courteous, and downright southern hospitality of the entire Southern Automotive Services team makes this definitely a location I would visit again and recommend to others.
Martien H.The address I was given was not this location. 570 HWY 84 E DALEVILLE, AL 36322 Is the address I was given and the place wasn't open. I called him and he informed that I should just drop it off and he would take care of it Monday. He apparently did not and I received several calls asking where the dolly was located. I believe it's Roberts auto service and it is a horrible company. Please stop doing business with them.
