I ordered a tow dolly on line 3 weeks prior to needing it 2 days before my pick up date someone called me to tell me the location I requested it for don't have this product. The closest one was 2,5 hours away in North Battleford SK so I had to do a 6 hour round trip to pick up the tow dolly as I need it to tow my vehicle behind my motorhome! I'm very disappointed with the way your system works if you offer a service at that location you's should make sure the products are available for your customers on requested dates!! It cost me $120 extra in gas to pick it up than I paid to rent the unit, the proper response to this email would be a refund for the equipment charge! This really doesn't apply to the location it self because they were very helpful it's to u haul in general.

I had gone online and scheduled the drop off location to Century St. in Winnipeg. The pick-up location did not have that information nor did they care. Then I received a text message from Uhaul telling me to drop off the trailer at a different location. Why did I spend my time scheduling the drop off and renting a storage locker when it is not put in the system for the pick-up location?

When I initially booked the truck for our move I booked from March 12 to 15. When I went in to pick the truck up I told the young lad that I only needed the truck till the 13th. He didn't change the information and I paid for the time till the 15th. I didn't notice this till I went to drop the truck off. A couple of days later after I had expected an email showing my refund that I thought I was getting for the unused days, I went to the place I dropped the truck off at which was Wilsons Lifestyle Centre. The young lad there did some checking with what could be done and eventually said there was nothing he could do so I said I suppose I would need the contact someone at the place I picked the truck up at and he said yes. I contacted the lady that ran the rental centre in North Battleford. She said to leave it with her and she will make the proper contacts and see about getting a refund back for me. The next morning I got an email from Andre Laframboise, Area Field Manager, notifying me that I will get a refund and the amount that it will be. Everything was settled and I was very satisfied. Called about reserving a 20ft van for 1 way trip to Saskatoon. They confirmed they had it available for 1 way. I then followed up and did the online reservation. When I arrived they then told me they rented the 20ft out the day before and now told me I would need to travel to Lloydminster SK to pick up the 20ft van. That was unacceptable as it would add 3 hours driving to my day. Apparently someone at Uhaul attempted to call me but I don't answer calls from what my phone calls suspected spam. This problem is not so much with the authorized dealer but the way Uhaul is in general. When a reservation is placed it is by definition to "hold". After 30 minutes I was offered to rent 15ft van and a 6x12 trailer which will then add on to the fuel costs as well as the rental/insurance costs that I would of had with the 20ft van which was reserved initially. In the end I only took the 15 ft van and will make a second trip with a pick up for the last items that would not fit due to having the appropriate sized truck.

Unfortunately you charged my credit card more than what was supposed to be charged, I went to speak with owner and was informed it would be fixed. Well it hasn't been changed, I was supposed to be charged 66 and it still has 78 on my credit card statement. Please advise me so I don't have to call credit card company and cancel the transaction. The lady I spoke to from “traffic” in Edmonton was not helpful at all. She did not help and did not want to talk to me. Told me there was no auto transports available to rent, anywhere. Had to find one myself. Lady needs some training in customer service and manners. I am not impressed with that part of Uhaul, at all.

Make a specific uhaul check in and check out. Seemed like a major hassle for every customer and the inefficiency has become normalized. Also Literally standing in close proximity in a small office space in a crowded store front was pretty concerning in covid times.

Have a better trained person working. Make sure all requested equipment that was required and reserved is available at pickup. I had reserved a trailer and appliance dolly and received an email stating that they were guaranteed to be available at time of pickup. When arrived to pickup equipment, they had no appliance dolly available. Was not very impressed by that as it was a crucial piece of equipment that was needed. I was forced to rent one elsewhere at a much higher cost to me. If equipment is requested and reserved, and a person is told that it will be available, it better be there as we were left scrabbling to get one .

The people reported me as if I had atonement the uhaul. Then when I rented it for another few hours they were closed when we brought it back and the woman was trying to lie and say I owed her 6 blankets and 2 dollies when they were already returned. Poor communication and just about got me in trouble with the law. I'm not saying it's because I'm not white buy that was rude both times.

I booked my u haul over the phone. Since I was working on the day of the pick up the person over the phone said it would be fine if my wife picked it up. She went to pick it up, they said NO. They said I have to be there. so frustrating.

This is a awesome first time experience. She make sure that everything is good. And very helpful and they have everything that I need from ball hitch to adaptor for signal light. I would recommend this location for renting trailer or if you need a vehicle to haul.

The equipment was clean enough to use but not clean enough to use the tie down ratchets properly. I had to clean to be able to use. Staff had a problem with the computer program, it took just about an hour to get done.

What a unorganized way to do business! Our terrible service was not the fault of Splish Splash but the way u haul itself does it's bookings! Booked online a week in advance - received confirmation that a 26 ft truck was reserved for 9 am pick up Sept.30/20. Next day a call from Edmonton stating truck n/a but would ph me sept 29th ( day b4 move)to let me know if anything available. That call stated we could have a 10 ft truck and a 5 ft trailer . But they would not charge me any extra !! Told them this would not work for us so cancelled our reservation which left us scrambling to find something to move with the afternoon b4 move. Then late on sept.29 call from them saying they might have a 15 ft. Truck avail at noon on sept.30th but wouldn't know for sure til it got returned. Did finally get a 15 ft on sept.30 thanks to Veronica at splish splash . We spent hours on ph trying to verify if we had a truck to move with or not . Don't know how you can use a U-Haul to move if even though you have a confirmation that your reservation is confirmed it Actually isn't . What a gong show and unnecessary stress for people having a timeline to be moved.

Employees were not communicating on available products as I was told different from 2 staff members. Rude service getting the products. Drop off was a polite staff member who was unfortunate to see my upset with not getting a full refund back. I was told different regarding the charges and I was told I'd get the full refund back. Highly disorganized and seems the staff are not trained on how to approach customers in a responsible respectable manner. The pricing was terrible and I feel extremely disappointed and taken advantage of with my need for hiring equipment. I am completely letdown on not getting my full return. It was brought to my attention it is something the company never does for customers and wont even rent from the company. That's interesting to know. I will not be wanting to do business with you in the future unless this issue is resolved your end.

My recent experience with uhaul was a ridiculous mess. However, the staff at this location helped out. I had booked a 1 way trip with a 15 ft truck for 830 am. I was told I would get a call by 10 am the Sunday before my move. By 4 pm on Sunday they got back to me: 1:30, 10 ft truck, round trip, and they confirmed it. What?! Fortunately the local people who run the depot in the town I was leaving helped me out. They corrected uhauls mess and got me a 15 ft truck, one way at 8am.

Fuel milage was only about 4mpg empty... Very very horrible, never dropped off in battlefords, uhaul seems to be extremely unorganized, website doesn't have all locations, got ripped off about $80 as well, I'd never use uhaul again, uhaul company needs alot of improvements

There should be more sufficient training provided. They had no knowledge of extended rates. I ended up paying 40 extra for a day I didn't use because they insisted I pay in advance.
