Location services did not work in the UHAUL app on my phone and I had to call twice from the rental address to get someone to help me actually pick up my vehicle -- once to try again to get location services working, once when they still didn't work. I was then informed that THERE ARE KNOWN ISSUES WITH THE APP AND LOCATION SERVICES ON ANDROID PHONES. After those two calls, I discovered after my check-in was complete that the windshield was cracked. I called to report it. The person who took my (now third) call exasperatedly told me she would "send it AGAIN" and did nothing but email me a copy of the policies for roadside assistance. The person who answered my FOURTH call listened to me and put a note in my account that the crack in the window already existed so I would not be charged for it. After spending half an hour fighting with your app and eventually being told that it was a KNOWN ISSUE WITH ANDROID PHONES, every single one of the people I spoke to helpfully suggested that next time perhaps I could try the easy-to-use app. I understand that this is part of their script but, all things considered, you really ought to consider amending that. So five stars for the location, 5 stars for vehicle cleanliness, sure I would recommend that location, but the app has serious issues and one out of four of your phone staff are chair-fillers.

When I arrived at 9:00 am to pick up and at 5:00 pm to drop off, the office was closed and I had questions. I was able to figure it all out but would have saved me about 30 minutes each time to have a representative there to ask, especially in the morning.

Had I moved them for easement, I would have broken the seals and been charged for something I did not need. Bad idea. I prefer U-Haul trucks, but this sales move will keep me away from trucks so adorned.

joseph miltonI will never do online pickup after store hours. I prefilled out approval days before pickup, and even went to the site the day before to talk to them. I had no idea Uhaul had to call 2 people at 8am on a Sunday morning so I could pick up. This could have been done days prior. Very frustrated and doubtful I'll ever use Uhaul again.
