Kyle KerkemeyerI was bit aware until just a she was handing me the Jerusalem that they're was a $0,59/mile additional charge - I blame the customer srvc/booking person I spoke with more than the young lady at the counter. The truck was very nice, but had a cig smoke odor. Also, I was told the tank was full but I only drive 40 miles and it took 4,89 gals to fill - that's avg 8 miles/gal. I suggest to next renter to take the truck to gas station less than 1/4 MI away first, fill it up to see if it really is full. I suspect my truck was at least 2 gals short of a full tank.

Mud on both floors, human hair, dog/cat hair, fingerprints, dusty dirty… NOTHING like I have ever rented before!!!! Appalling actually!!!! When I returned it I again told them how dirty it was and the guy was yeah where is the key? We'll take care of itAFTER I had already used it‼️‼️‼️‼️

Brent LoschI called a location on McMillan road and Shannon answered. She did not have the pickup I needed but she caringly made a reservation for me at 355 N. Ten Mile. Joe at Ten Mile paid close attention to detail and gave me all the instructions and tips that I needed. Both of these people are top notch agents and excellent ambassadors for your company. Valeah ByrdTo Whom It May Concern, I must admit that I'm a little upset about being charged a $20 "after hours service fee". When I checked the truck out at 9:00 AM I asked the agent if I could return the truck after hours as they closed at 5:00 PM and I wasn't planning on finishing the move until roughly 6:00 PM. The agent said "sure, that would be fine, just park the truck in the designated parking space and then drop the key in the drop box ." I finished about 5:30 PM, parked the truck in the designated parking space and dropped the key in the drop box. I went to Albertson's Market Street to grab something to eat and as I was eating I noticed an email from U Haul. Upon reading the email I saw that there was a charge for not checking out in a certain way but that I had to be at the return location to do it. When I finished eating, I returned to the U Haul yard on Ten Mile Road and proceeded to go through the procedure on my cell phone. I shortly noticed that I could not complete the procedure because it required me to take pictures of the odometer and inside of the rear van section. As I had already dropped the keys into the drop box, and the truck was all locked up, it was impossible for me to complete the procedure. I had no other choice at that time but to go home. The agent should have explained the 15 minute procedure to me when I asked if I could return the truck after hours and not have just said to "drop the keys in the drop box".

Kris McCaulleyI reserved using share 24/7 for an 8 am pickup. When I logged in at 8 am I was prompted that my reservation was for hand pickup at 9 am when the store opened. When talking with the uhaul employee, he stated that the keyed was not received correctly when dropped off previously making the key not accessible for early pickup. Also it was requested by the employee that I return the truck at the original return time, shortening my useable window of time with the truck.

Kyla CunninghamWe had a difficult time finding out where the pickup truck was for us to rent. We had rented it one line was told it would be at Cole Avenue then we were told it would be on at another location off of Eagle Road and finally was told it was at this facility on ten mile road. Needless to say we did a lot of unnecessary driving and wasted a lot of time that could have been avoided had we known where the truck actually was.
John VittoThey do not have receiver hitch for the truck I was using my head to get to receiver hitch at another U-Haul. Other than that I'm always happy with the people working..
Eric MorinGood overall experience, the staff were very helpful. However, the truck we got had a weak battery, and died on us after we had parked at our house. I'm guessing the staff didn't know about it. So that was a pain to deal with, but hopefully they can get it fixed!

Jarom PrestwichThe above info speaks for the service received; However, your policy of of not pro-rating rebates for early cancelations will change my mind on who I use next-time...I attempted to close my account two days into my auto payment and couldn't get a refund on remaining balance, costing me most of my $101 monthly payment. Not all storage rental company's have this policy. I have been a satisfied customer over the years but will look for alternatives next-time.

Glenn InversoPaper towels were left bundled up in the cupholder. I ordered an appliance dolly with the truck but there wasn't one inside the truck and the employee made no mention of it. When I went through the mobile return I mentioned it but was charged the extra $10 anyways. I was also told someone would reach out to me within 24 hours and that didn't happen as well.

Ronnie StokesThe truck was pretty dirty on the inside and the bed was dirty as well. Looked like nothing was wiped down. Also thought it was weird that it didn't have a full gas tank when we got it. It was filled to half. Doing the mobile check in to rent the truck was frustrating. It was like having a back ground check to rent this truck. Had to have two different references to rent the truck. We did the mobile to not have to have contact but we ended up having to get someone to get the keys.

chris fleischmanWe realize this is difficult to control, but your smoking customers are making it really tough on your non-smoking customers. This pick-up reeked of smoke smell, and air freshener odor intended to cover up the smoke smell. It was so bad my wife almost vomited,even though we kept the windows open in below freezing outside temperatures. It was really, really bad; stiflingly bad. It was so bad it was very likely bad for our health. It couldn't have been healthy to be breathing such rank air.
Curtis EggeThe 24/7 truck share did not work at all for me. An employee at the location helped me with checking out the truck within a few minutes, but I spent almost an hour on the phone trying to drop off the truck since it was after hours. If the website is not going to work, customer service should at least be more streamlined for getting the truck checked in and out. I will not be using that service again.
