Fix the damn self- service. It sucks. It makes you take your photos and asks the same questions multiple times. Half the time the service didn't work at all. Or, as in the past, the uhaul Strand location in Missoula doesn't even have the key in the lock box where it's supposed to be. But that location is a whole other (big) issue, due to the incompetent/unprofessional manager that was hired for some wild reason(Kayla). She shouldn't be in charge of anything more than one person and maybe a few trucks. Anything more than that she is not able to handle, as she has proven time and time again in the past.

VALENTIN VThe "self-checkout" process is a total pain. I don't like how how you are forced to download the app, involve another person to be involved as co-renter and then be called by Uhaul ot confirm, the process to set the payment is confusing in the app, etc. We wasted like 20 minutes in our car setting the app and waiting for the process, when renting the truck would have been SO easy by having a human being in a counter assisting. On top of that, the truck came with an 8th of the gas tank and I have to make calls to complain about this. Not a nice experience at all!
Chris MNo one inspected the truck for damage or gave any instructions what so ever. The windshield was filthy and when it started to rain I could barely see until I managed to find the windshield wipers.

ANDREW JThe entire online no person check in process was not easy. Nobody answered when I called the number for assistance. Waited forever for someone to call to verify my identity nobody ever called the 3rd party to verify. Finally someone that worked at the location appeared he was very helpful and friendly. But by that point 45 minutes had passed the entire situation was frustrating. I expected about $70 and was charged over $100. I requested a furniture dolly. Not available. Provided a standard dolly & moving blankets I didn't ask for but was charged for. The standard dolly did not work for what I needed to move yet I was also charged for it & didn't use it. The final total was not what I expected

Frank MWe dropped off the truck after hours. This office was closed. Return was very complicated. Fortunately, I called UHaul and Ruby gave excellent help over the phone. If an office is closed, the renter should have the option to return the truck to a different nearby location in the same city. Additionally, the truck screeched when driving above 60 MPH and the air-conditioner worked poorly. We were disappointed in our UHaul experience.
JOE LI rent Uhaul trucks several times a month, and the 2nd identification is redundant and unnecessary.

Mehrdad mNot a fan of self drop location. I was charged an additional fee even though the equipment was returned on time. There was no one there to explain the fee and I didn't have time to wait on the phone for customer service.
Mark CThe key drop off system was more difficult than I expected. It took some time to get 'scanned in' as it wasn't accepting my location. I think it would be important to tell you ahead of time that one will need your phone since I had someone else driving the truck and almost didn't bring my phone. If I hadn't gone with him he wouldn't have been able to check it back in. Otherwise I have nothing but compliments about the Storage Barns and the lady who checked us in.

Morgan WEasiest return ever! Gentleman saw me pull up and removed the equipment, checked me in and sent me on my way! I easily added an extra day to my rental on the app with a very prompt response. Great experience and very reasonable price!

Oliver SThe truck kept getting stuck in the snow. Not uhauls fault, but still frustrating. The better went dead on me after using the hazard lights for only 30 min. When I called "roadside assistance" they told me it would be 264 dollars for them to come out and jump the truck. I got the insurance, but apparently I got the wrong one. The one I needed I was not even offered. This was a all around frustrating experience for me. I have used uhaul many times in the past it is a great company, but your rates for help are ridiculous. Fix your trucks or lower your rates for help!

Previous time I did the online pick up from the app and they were problems not with the franchise, but with the app running smoothly to do in efficient check-in.

Vickie KGas was below half full, melted chocolate in cup holder, dog toys left inside cabin from previous user and it did not come with a dolly or moving blankets that we originally asked for. Basically the base base line of service was not met.
