April AliceaWhen we first arrived at around 3:45, she said our appointment was for 4:45 and I had to wait until then to get the truck. I explained I had an email and a voicemail that said noon, but a text that said 4:45. I explained we had driven 5 hours to pick-up the truck. So whatever she could do would be fine. Balance was prepaid in full at pick-up, I was told I had not added the Move Safe insurance for $48 I asked if it was required she said no so I declined. She then said I had a balance of 51.12. I asked what for, she said taxes. When handed my receipt it was for the Move Safe insurance she had added even though I declined it. She was rude and unhelpful since we had been there so we just took the truck and left.

ELISE CROFFLife saver place i originally reserved a trick screwed up the reservation. Thankfully they had a truck and was able to complete work i needed to do.
stephen vernonReally difficult to return using their app. We went back 3 times and still didn't work. Then my husband returned on Monday and asked for a receipt, explaining what happened. She said we weren't charged extra, but still didn't give him a receipt. What gives???
patrick RyanNot sure if this is the only box I have to submit my feedback, so, I'm giving 3 stars for my OVERALL EXPERIENCE with U-Haul here. Nothing against my pickup spot. The method to reserve online, then be directed all over town, then be told I can't pick up near my home, then not even know until 2 days prior, then be informed a One-Way is better for me, then have THAT location moved on me to even farther away, then - oh yes - the PHONE SYSTEM that asks you to use the link for the app where you can't speak to live person --- all this is absolute horsesh*t. Further, today I went to file a claim from the moving helpers who were far from gentle dudes, I had to call one # 3 times, because at every TRANSFER TO THE RIGHT DEPARTMENT, I'm disconnected. Like dropped. Hung up on. It's just hideous service overall. Be prepared if you use U-Haul. Is it worth it? No clue. But you're far from making a Customer For Life here with me - obviously.

Jeff MooreDuring the rental process and on the uhaul app, it is advertised that truck rentals can be extended. Unknown to me, the truck I rented was reserved by someone else a few hours after I intended to return it. During my move, my husband and I both sustained injuries and were unable to unload and return the truck on schedule. I attempted to extend the rental on the uhaul app, but was unable. The page simply would not load. So I called the phone number on the app. The representative was very nice and explained that the truck was reserved, so I needed to call the local scheduling line when they opened in the morning to extend my rental. When I called the local scheduling line, the local scheduling person was very rude to me about my request to extend my rental. First, she refused my request. When I told her I was physically unable to return the truck due to injury, she informed me I would incur an extra charge and be banned from renting in the future. She also emphasized several times that the person renting the truck after me reserved the truck a month ago while I only reserved and rented the truck the previous day. I felt her demeanor and reaction was rude and inappropriate. Because of this, I will certainly hesitate to rent from uhaul in the future, if I am even able to.

Clifford GilletteThe customer service people were most helpful! I received great advice regarding my rental moving needs and prompt service. Everything was as promised to me. Only point I forgot to mention, the rear lift gate on truck was a strain to open, but once open it functioned well. Perhaps I forgot to eat my Wheaties this morning. It may be a good idea to check that gate out though.
