My initial drop off was at a Chevron 20101 Roscoe Blvd, Winnetka, CA 9130. DO NOT DROP OFF AT CHEVRON. Manager is very rude and did not allow me to drop the uhaul. He offered NO help and told me that it's between uhaul and myself, and specifically said he hates uhaul, then went in his office and closed the door. How is this place a drop off location?? I called uhaul and the rep assigned me another drop off location which was the StorCal storage in Chatsworth, which was an easy drop off location.

The oil light was on when I started the vehicle and stayed on the entire time, even though I check the oil and it seemed ok. There was no gas in the vehicle at time of rental. I just made it to the gas station that thankfully was about a half mile away. The location was easy to find and accessible.

I don't know where to start. The pickup location was difficult to find, and the person who helped us was rude. For instance, I let him know that the truck was very dirty . His response was “well do you want to cancel it? It's the only truck we have” . Well of course I don't want to cancel - we are in the middle of moving!! This also tells me the truck was clearly not sanitized. There was food shoved into the dash (literally) - dirty masks on the floorboard, and trash all about the cab. UHaul is the one we use for any type of moving needs- it's the name we've come to trust - but after this past weekend, I think maybe trying another service to at least see if it's better may not hurt, especially for the cost and what we received for the price.

Front right headlight mounting bracket was broken so the head was hanging out. I taped it in so I could get to my pickup location load up. At my drop-off location, I had some extra time, so I fixed the headlight mounting brackets. Also, I had to tighten up the passenger mirror because it kept pointing down. Other than that, the truck ran great, and I was very happy that U-haul was able to get us a truck with very short notice because Penske cancelled our reservation stating their lift-gate trucks are temperately being used for support their lease customers when their trucks break down.

They said there was an 8th of a tank of gas in it but when I got in and drove about a block it was at the red line and I had to stop to get gas before even arriving to pack and move. The guy that helped also wasn't wearing a mask and made me uncomfortable because of covid.

Equipment was super unsafe. The truck suspension is broken and it bounce so much that makes it impossible to drive it. Also the direction of the vehicle handling its super feels loose. This truck if not fixed will get into an accident soon

Worst experience of my life the u haul I reserved for a whole month in advance was not available had to drive back and forward from different locations to get a uhaul when I finally found one the guy did not want to release the truck for the price I reverse for I call uhaul directly about 4 times until the issue was resolved when I got to my destination I also had reserved a storage unit with uhaul and they did not give me the storage I reserved so I was charged more uhaul over all was a very bad experience I would not recommend it to any of my family members or friends

Truck was damaged. Had leak inside top right of box. Jimmy job with caulking was done inside the top right of box and did not properly seal off the box. Noticed this after entire inside was flooded. Parked it overnight in prep for move and didn't realize until next day afternoon flooded inside. Complete waste of time. Had workers arrive for moving and had to pay them, had to go to 15 miles away for a new uhaul in mad rush, had to delay my moving plans and loss of money.

I returned my truck to this location on the correct day and time as i was supposed to. I spoke with the gentleman at the register, confirmed my name, handed him the key personally and asked him a couple questions. I asked if i needed a receipt or any paperwork Two days later i get a receipt saying that i rented the truck for an additional two days. I'm currently speaking with UHaul to resolve, but make sure you receive documentation IMMEDIATELY.

I rented the truck and soon realized there was no dolly and worse no ramp to load or offload my items which cost me $40 more for the movers because everything had to be lifted. I was running 30 mins late for the return and l called them to let them know and l was told l had to pay for another day which l did. I went to uhaul.com to finalize my return and couldn't find any tab for return. I dropped off the truck on Saturday at 6pm and called in to confirm that the return went well and informed the manager of my experience and he said sorry there is nothing l can do to help you ma'am. I will never rent from Storcal again and will not recommend to my friends either. Worst moving experience. I was charged $153

The guy was rude and didn't seem to want to be there. We dropped our truck off at 3:30p and it was not processed until 11a the next day. I received a call asking me to turn the truck in when I already had. So, I had to spend 20 minutes on the phone to make sure everything was fine. I am so disappointed in how UHAUL has mad my move a stressful experience. And how no one seems to want to help and at the end of the day it seems like the company just wants the money and doesn't care about it's customers.

My original reservation was moved to Chatsworth due to no 20ft truck being available at Oxnard street Stor-Cal. When I arrived in Chatsworth, the young man didn't have any record of the equipment (hand trucks) I'd reserved and nor did he have any blankets, which is also reserved. He got on the phone with the Oxnard location and found they had some blankets there. Since it was the best I could get, I accepted them and drove to that location. However, when we went to Oxnard street Stor-Cal the gentleman there didn't want to let us take any blankets because he hadn't been aware ours was a one-way rental. We ended up being given 1 dozen but is reserved 2 dozen. 1 dozen wasn't enough. The movers were very nice and provided me with blankets but they charge $14 per blanket. The truck was sticky and didn't appear to have been cleaned. It functioned fine and the remainder of the move went smoothly.

If the customer who has returned the U-Haul doesn't fill up the tank enough or gas is siphoned overnight to the point of leaving the tank empty, recommend to make it a U-Haul policy that the location needs to fill up the tank to at least 1/8 before the next customer picks it up. That was an unforeseen inconvenience.

It's hard to find as the address is a building that nobody uses so this place is off to the side of the address . Need some signs up . Also nobody picks up the phone . Apart from that all was good .

Great, fast, no nonsense service. Small selection of trucks from what I could see but they had exactly what I needed, and I was able to get it without a reservation. Parking lot is a little difficult to see just go around the bend.

The gas meter for the car went DOWN after I got 4 gallons of gas; as a result, I was charged to get gas TWICE. I am convinced the truck was rigged and will never be using U-Haul again.

Was told the cost would be 119$ for 24 hours with a one way trip. We anticipated having back in less but couldnt. Still made it in 23 hours and my card was charged around 200$ for some unclear reason. Yeah, thankfully we have a record of the price agreement and of time of drop off so we can defend our selves. Train your staff better or something.
