The truck we were expecting was not returned by the previous customer. The location had another 15' truck on their lot. It was labeled out of service because the windshield washer pump was not working. I told them not a problem and rented the truck. However, about 20 minutes into my 5 hour drive, the A/C died. It was a 90 degree day. So, I went old school and rolled down the window.matt M.

I was late to return the truck, tried to call twice and got cutoff both times. I was told that I would be charged an extra $19,95 because I was late which would have been acceptable but when I received my invoice I was charged double for everything!! Twice what I should have paid. Liked Uhaul and used them a few times a year but not anymore!Rick B.

The service was great, the only thing they said is that the vehicle had a full tank of gas and it wasn't. But I did back a full tank of gas anyways. So in future make sure that your actually giving the customer a full tank of gas before instructing them to take back a full tank.Romeo J.

This was my first time renting a U-Haul and I had a wonderful experience! The woman at the counter when checked us in was very friendly. She also recommended dollies for us and she was right. We returned the truck earlier than anticipated and we were met by a gentleman in the parking lot. He checked us out very quickly. The truck smelled of cigarettes, and there was no where for me to notate that and it was also described as "clean." Something like a simple air freshener would've helped the smell, and a deep cleaning of the leather and surfaces in the vehicle. Truck smelled like smoke. Check-in attendant was great while check-out attendant questioned me on taking an advertisement from the front window and debated me on mileage where I proved to be 100 % correct. The pick-up truck noted that there was <1 % oil life remaining too. All and all, the truck did what it needed to do, but the checkout rep did not have much trust in me. I have no idea why unless other customers have been rougher. All was just okay to below average.Bradley H.

Do not assume checking in through the app will be faster! It is much faster to get your vehicle if you go inside and speak to an actual person. The app asks for information for an alternative contact. You have to wait for them to call and verify the number and name you provide. It takes much longer to do this, I was frustrated and went inside to complete the transaction. I had the keys to the truck in my hand before they even contacted my sister has my alternative contact.Glenn L.

The help line for U-Haul because we could not log in to pick up our 24/7 share truck was a 60+ minute wait. By the time we got through they had already rented the truck out to someone else. The person who was working was insanely helpful and ended up making some arrangements and got the truck anyways.MAX G.

Upon return there was no one at the desk to return the key to. I stood in the lobby for about 5 minutes and no one showed up. I ended up walking into the back portion of the store and knocking on one of the offices. The woman was very nice was, although surprised too see me there, very prudent in her handling that the situation and assisting me in returning the truck. She asked me if I had fuelled the tank to which I stated that I had. I drove the truck for about 30 miles and had just refilled the tank to the 7/8th mark, or as close to it as the I can tell, about a mile from the return location. By the eye it looked like I had used about a fifth of a tank total. I put just under $12, about 3,5 gallons, in which, when turning the ignition, appeared to be almost exactly where the gauge was at the time of pick up. After leaving the truck I received an email with my receipt about 15 minutes later and noticed that my bill was higher than I had anticipated. After looking at it I realized that I had driven more miles than I had intended. I ballpark it initially at about 20 miles but it ended up being more the range of 30, not a problem. The next line on the receipt, however, charged $9 for 2 gallon fuel. While the $10 in and of itself is not a big deal the fact that it was even and itemized charge was a bit frustrating. I understand that uhaul charges more for gas than a gas station would and perhaps 2 gallon is the minimum chargeable amount.. I do, however, have the receipt that shows the purchase amount of gas as well as the time and location that it was purchased. Doing the math by dividing miles driven by the amount of gas that I had put in it is pretty clear that it isn't possible for it to have been returned under 7/8 full. $11,36 gas@ $3,09 a gallon [3,67 gallons] 38 miles By my math that would average to about 10 miles per gallon. 38Ã·3,67=10.4. I know that a 10 ft truck gets about 12 mpg so, if true, I would have actually returned it with more gas than it had to begin with. Again, nothing that would stop me from renting from U-Haul in the future, perhaps would stop me from renting or recommending that specific location. I don't necessarily expect a response back from this nor do I expect a refund. Just wanted to voice my opinion honestly and I hope that you will take the time to fully read, considerate, and hopefully respond to this comment.TYLER N.

I really love the facility. The professionalism of the staff was great. My only complaint is the first storage room they gave me had a leaky pipe which set my things up for mold. i wasn't happy at all with that but they gave me another clean dry storage area.
