ROGER DCould not check in with my phone. No one was at the location or answered phone. Spent an hour trying to check in and on the line with support. Delayed movers helping me. Requested dolly was not provided

I made my pick up appointment 2 days in advance and there was no indication that there would be no one there when I picked it up. I could not contact anyone by phone and had to wait in the parking lot for a half an hour before I received a call to have her set up my pickup via telephone. While I had a crew of people waiting to load the truck. If they would have simply told me I needed to do it online because no one would be there. It would have been very easy. Looking at the other reviews it appears this is standard procedure for this location.
Eric SDropped off trailer website said it was open on Sunday not open.then they were not open on monday,after a day was added to my rental by corporate they charged me an extra day rental on my credit card! I will never use uhaul again worst experience ever!

Valerie CIf someone pays for 48 hours and returns the truck the same day, because they moved faster than expected, refund the difference. I paid for 48 hours yet only had the truck from 830 am until 6:40pm. Seems like I'll choose someone else next time.

Kristle ADo not rent from this facility. The staff can never be reached, I can't count the amount of times I had to leave a voicemail, and still never received a call back. I had multiple pieces of furniture and clothing articles ruined because they were covered in mildew and mold. Luckily we were able to clean the mildew off of our couch, however my late grandmothers wooden kitchen table was so completely covered in mold that it was rotting. We lost a rocking chair from our children's nursery because mice burrowed little homes in it, and there were droppings throughout any tote or box they could get into. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with storing our items, and as a military family, it was not our first time. I do not recommend this place.

Jean S | Expérience généraleThe drop off location was acceptable. Lots of room to park. We had to drop off the truck after dark. All of the pictures we had to take were not allowing us to take them right from the app. I had to back out, use my camera and then upload them from my gallery. Also, there should be a disclaimer to not drop the keys until the entire process is completed because it is hard to tell in the app how much you have to do after initiating drop-off. Once again it was late and nobody was available to help us at the establishment if they keys were dropped prematurely. The drop off process was easier than pick up however both processes need major improvement in my opinion.

Justin WCouldn't have asked for a nicer pick up and drop off experience. The women(I forgot her name) that owns/runs this location was great, she called after pick up to make sure everything was good, and I called with a question about the rental and she happily answered my question and made the adjustment I needed, would 100 % return to this location to rent again.
Jeremy SYes it's convenient because you can self pick up, but the location is far away from most areas. Just picking it up and going back to my house was 9 miles automatically. Should give a person a break on miles when you have to drive to the boonies to get it.
Gabriel RMary went WAY over and above in every aspect of our rental experience. She was always on the other end of the phone no matter what time I called with a friendly hello. Mary is still helping us with issues days after the rental has been returned. I would HIGHLY recommend dealing with Mary at this location. If she can't solve the problem she will do her darndest to find someone who can.

Zeke MI reserved a 10' cube van to be available at a location in gasport, NY. It was not there when I arrived. I was redirected to a location that I could not reach. I was forced to get a larger truck to use. Costing me than I was originally quoted. The location that I was able to get a truck from was more than friendly and if it had not been for then you would have lost a customer. Outside of the customer service I received at the location I was finally able to get a truck from (which was fantastic) I did not have a good experience with my service.
Floyd PStore was closed during business hours. No one could be reached. Made experience much harder.
Katelyn PDon’t let someone reserve a truck at one location then less than 12 hrs from pickup change the pickup to 20 miles away from where they set originally causing way more miles than expected

Joseph CMary, the operator at the pick up location was a gem. She was pleasant and seemed to enjoy what she does. But there was a mix up with pick on times between what we were told by UHaul and when Mary was told to expect us, and the location was not open when we arrived. The inside of the cargo area had not been swept, it wasn't filthy but was dusty with dead insects inside. When we walked around the truck, Mary went out of her way to mark the dents and scratches on the truck. But the front right bumper was falling off. She repaired the bumper before we left the location, but that was not a great way to find the truck.

Barb a | Expérience généraleMade reservation online to pickup at Lockport rd uhaul was never contacted by anyone saying it was not there and I'd have to travel out of my way to get a truck. Guy at Lockport location barely wanted to call other location to see if truck was there. I've used uhaul many times over the years and by far this was the worst rental experience. If it wasn't for Mary Schultz getting me in and out in under ten minutes I would of been really pissed. Thank you to Mary!!!
BRIANROBERT PThere was no one to check me out and had to self check in. Your self check in agent was very knowledgeable and very helpful and made the whole process very easy and was on my way in very short time. She was great and would do this method anytime.
Ted CKeep up the good work! This rental experience was professional, clean and safe. The truck was like new and easy to manage. Mary could not have been more pleasant . She was especially patient with my lack of tech expertise! If I need to rent a truck again, it will absolutely be U-HAUL.

nick tThe location supposed to be open and it was not. I did online checkout a day before; however I had to call to a phone number provided on the door (of the closed location) and the person told me that I didn't do my online checkout. I had to do it again and the page didn't want to load.
Anna WThe automatic check in did not work properly to let us pick up the truck at the time we wanted. It seemed to be a system issue, but the person in charge of the location was very helpful and answered the phone very early and was able to help us out.

The trailer was great and just what I needed, I originally wanted a car dolly but they didn't have any, however they did have a car trailer and it wasn't much more. The location was a bit out of my way for what I was doing but I've gotta say I think I'll probably use this location from now on. A+

She assisted me in dropping off my truck after hours and gave me clear instructions on how to do so. She was very friendly and incredibly helpful with following up on our truck drop off and details of our contract, questions we had. I would definitely work with that location again and love to work with her - she's great!

keith hMary was nothing short of amazing. I was so stressed when there was confusion about my reservation on the day of my move but Mary went out of her way to make it work. She drove all the way to Batavia to pick up the truck that was needed and brought it back to her location. If that isn't EXCELLENT customer service I don't know what is. Give that girl a raise! She's keeping your customers first and because of my experience with her I will always recommend uhaul in the future. Happy holidays!

Meghan SI moved out in Mid-Oct and yet was charged for November. Facility is great, move out process is broke, no one was available to hand keys into due to a medical issue..so I was charged an extra month.
