With the mobile app check in, after you answer all of questions and submit the pictures, it has you wait while it's being verified. You have no idea how long that will take. After 10 minutes I hit the chat button and found that there were systems problems and it would be a bit longer. No problem, but having a comment or a timer, or something would ease the questions on whether there was a problem. Something like, â€œNormally less than 5 minutes.â€Richard V.

I was told that the vehicle had a full tank of gas. I only drove 10 miles, but it took 4,65 gallons of gas to refill it to full. I was told that the person who performed the transaction should have said to return the vehicle to the pre-trip gas gauge location.Brenda H.

I was switched from the Grand Ave Uhaul location to this site. I was very dissatisfied as I pay extra for help to load truck on trailer transport. The lady at true value did not know how to do this and sent me on a 1300 trip without chaining down truck. I had to go to the Uhaul on Grand for help. The price also changed from original quote from regional manner and she told me to dispute it later. I need to make another long trip next month and may go elsewhere.JAVIER A.

Just needed to bring some wood home from lumber yard. Picked up the truck, and it was clean very low miles. It was a Chevy road nice. A low cost way to pick up something to big or not wanting to put inside your own vehicle. Will use them again.Fred L.

Truck was filthy inside and out. They blew the back out with a leaf blower, but thr cab hadnt been cleaned or wiped down. En route frim Phoenix to Salt Lake, I had to stop every 100 miles to retighten the ratch straps on the trailer. If it hadnt of been foe the chains, I'd have lost my car. I ended up buying aftermarket ratch strap tie downs to keep it in place, after the third time finding the tire straps OFF THE DAMN TIRES! Truck was gutless, ate gas worse than any 26ft straight truck I've ever used, and didn't have cruise control. Poor quality overall. I was not impressed.Stephen T.

Tell your scheduling Department to get there facts strait and not send customers 16 miles further into the woods to get equipment not actually available for rent/pickup and then charge them for those miles when they send them there saying it is. Also I was told not to self check-in upon return or the automatic system wouldn't identify contract notations on account and impose an additional days charge. Upon receiving final receipt I was charged nearly 90 $more than original contract offer. Claims dispute department reversed additional days charge for tow dolly but not the overage of mileage due to reasons noted/described above. This breach of trust could most applicably be defined as niggardly and therefore lacks the type of business sense that I would require to continue any type of trade without avoiding it at all reasonable cost. I would only recommend the location of my rental agent/location if I couldn't convince them to consider and seek other options.Garth S.

I was expecting a 6x12 trailer for the price of 34,95 + tax of about 10+ my husband decided insurance of 8.00. Now why did my bill come to 85,9 with a grand total of 95,6! This make no sense to me. I am very angry and will tell everyone I know about this insane mark up on price.Debra W.

I will not be going to this location anymore ever. I did not have time to mess with it because i had half hour where i had to pick up furniture. There was nothing wrong with the location--they tried hard to assist me. But, my online check-in experience was miserable. It took over 45 minutes to drive away. First, there were items that should have been part of the reservation process. I spent time loading pictures of my drivers license and adding two additional contacts. This should have been done with the reservation. Also, when trying to download my license, the online app took an automatic shot of just a portion of the back of my license with a bar code, rather than the entire back side. This was done without allowing a verification that the photo was good, which I think delayed my approval (again, should have been done at reservation). Then, waiting approval took well over 20 minutes with no feedback from anyone. The chat line was ignored, and calls to the 1-800 number had waits in excess of 15 minutes. I expect customer service agents were saturated. The person at the store then tried to assist me, but was unable to do so since the online process was ongoing. Finally, about 50 minutes after driving up, and exiting the app and restarting it, I finally was approved and ready. Please add items to the reservation process, and ensure that feedback is available during checkout to make this better.Kenneth M.

I was asked to tow a uBox from Waukee IA to AZ. I was offered 400 $to do this. With the extra mileage and tolls and that when towing I got less than 5 miles an hour I made very little money. Also both Siri and google maps led me to a dead end no where near the drop off location. When I called the location the person was unable to give me directions. He then told me to drop it off at their other location. The person at the alternate location very rudely told me I could not drop it off there. I spent an extra 2 hours added on to a 36 hour trip dropping off that stupid trailer. Then the person with whom I had made the deal though he was helpful at first refused to get back to me even though he had promised me extra time with the truck.after I had dropped off the trailer. I definitely regret agreeing to tow it . The truck drop off location in sun city was very goodsteve H.

UHaul went above and beyond my expectations! Upon returning my rental after a gruesome drive from a Phoenix suburb to Des Moines, IA, I couldn't have asked for better respect and genuine friendliness. I am a retired US Army veteran serving my country for 36+ years. Whenever I need to move in the future I will always use UHaul. The location was conveniently located and familiar to me. However, the check-out process was exceedingly long. Especially considering that I had made the reservation in advance. 30+ minutes to get through the rental process is ridiculous! The return process was almost just as arduous. I was ultimately told that I could leave and would receive my final receipt via email; not something that left me with a warm, fuzzy feeling. Fortunately, everything seemed correct on the final invoice. I really didn't appreciate being a guinea pig for the employee in training. I would suggest training staff with MOCK rentals until they are comfortable enough to do the real thing.JONATHAN P.
