The store that rented the dolly I rented, was very kind and hospitable, the problem laid within your computer systems Apparently it gave them resistance to renting it to me while I was using a 2016 f150 with a class 5 hitch and I was simply towing a 2005 focus. It said it exceeded my tow capacity. Now my truck from the factory is rated for 12,500lbs with its stock configuration and higher with the modifications that I've done all approved by Ford. This problem with your system needs to be fixed. It caused the store to take nearly 45 mins away from other customers because your system was denying tow capacity. It would help your remote vendors out tremendously if you had a cohesive system that understands vehicle tow ratings and can expedite rentals.

We made a reservations two months in advance and Uhaul sent me 43 miles away to pickup a 5x8 trailer. I felt this was unacceptable. I called Uhaul for help and I felt Uhaul really didn’t make the effort to find a closer location for us.

Make sure when they order blankets that the place your picking up at has blankets. That's my only complaint. I ordered a dozen moving blankets but the place does not carry them.

They sent me 1st to 20555 SE frontage Rd where there was no one there and the fence's were tore down and everything was busted up. I drove around for 2 days and spent over 6 hrs trying to drop this off. You all ruined my vacation with my grandkids. Uhaul needs to check there drop off locations. If I just dropped it off someone could have stole it then I would have been responsible for it. This is wrong and I will not rent from them again if I'm going out of town.

your online pick was terrible. due to some confusion as to what picture was wanted, I was over 1 and half hours late in getting my truck. I was on hold over 56 minutes waiting for some one from thst department to pick up. The rental agent arrived and we ha yo redo the complete process. They were very hood but I still had people waiting over an hour at my house waiting to help me move. Very stressfull

Our pick up location was moved twice because the preferred location di not have our requested truck size, and the second location did not open in time for our scheduled pick up. When we arrived at our 3rd location, they told us they don't carry furniture pads even though we had a confirmed order for 1 dozen furniture pads. We drove out of our way to our original location to find out they don't carry any furniture pads either. In fact he said no U-Haul location in Joliet, IL area carries any furniture pads, and all these location employees did so with a "that's not my problem attitude". What's the point of being a Moving Truck Rental Company if no one can provide you with moving accessories like pads? Very frustrating and time consuming experience!

Made reservations two weeks before pick up of trailer and wasn’t there at time they said would be ready. Had to wait over a hour for trailer to arrive. No compusation on bill or any offer to make things right. Had to wait and change my plans because of there lack of reservations.

If someone books a piece of equipment they should get the said piece of equipment regardless of their pick up time. We asked for a dolly and when we went to pick up the truck all the dollys had been given out in the morning before our 1 p.m. pickup.

Absolutely nothing! We were so pleased. I had reserved a 26-foot truck some weeks before our move, and had to get another one, a 17-footer, on moving day. Everything went off without a hitch. Would definitely use again, and recommend to anyone else!

(partially this location and another location for 2 contracts) Fix your pos system to not hold charges that need to be refunded, and let any store complete a contract for another store. Was held up for three hours due to a system glitch that I still don't know if it was taken care of. Terrible experience and no one could offer any compensation. So all you did was hold up my money, run me out of time, and gave me a better luck next time. Would not recommend.

trailer was not in great shape. constant problems with swaying once over 45 mph. issues with electrical connection dragging on the ground. also they did not have the right ancillary equipment - I my order included a furniture dolly - they tried to give me an appliance dolly - did not have the right thing. Ended up having to go to another location to pick up the right equipment.

Make sure that your employees/companies in charge of rentals(this instance was 1115 Plainfield Road in Joliet Illinois) do the STATE REQUIRED safety inspections. I was given a truck that didn't meet the requirements in place from the Illinois department of transportation and when I drove to the Department of Motor Vehicles to do an official inspection they told me it did not meet ILCS 625 5/12-601. So the employees at the above location were either incompetent or criminally negligent in giving me a truck they had full knowledge was not legally allowed to be operated on the road with the current deficiencies and refused to give me a ROAD LEGAL VEHICLE without paying a second time. Customer service was very rude and unhelpful even though I was calm and wanting a replacement not a refund, just can't afford to pay twice.

Trailer was extremely dirty. Before I could even move my furniture I had to go to a car wash and pressure wash the inside and then hand dry it so I couldn’t move mattresses and boxes without getting them dirty or wet. There was no dollies and had to go to another location to get one.

I tried to do this online, will never do that again! I got there and followed the instructions, and still had to stand outside in the cold while my order was reviewed. When I returned the truck, before it would let me check out, it wanted me to upload 2 pictures, but did not give me a link to do so. Thank God for the young lady who worked there! She was extremely helpful!!

We returned the truck earlier than expected . Forgot the dolly . They called , I stated clearly NO PROBLEM WE WILL BRING IT RIGHT AWAY . The person I spoke to was rude , barely let me talk . Very ignorant for such a simple mistake . Unprofessional I do not talk to my customers like that .

The text message I received indicated the date due, but did not indicate the time. I thought I had until close of business to return truck. Your text message should also indicate the time in addition to the date due to avoid the $40 late charge!

Scheduling department is an absolute fiasco. Scheduled me to pick up a trailer 40 miles away in Alsip, IL, and when I said I would pick up in Dundee IL one way to avoid driving 160 total extra miles to pick up a trailer, U-Haul wanted $89 vs $52. Then when changed my reservation to the next day, my reservation was cancelled with no explanation when I picked up.

First time renting a flatbed trailer from them. Very inconvenient people that don’t know what they’re doing. We placed an order over the phone and paid for it with a card. When we got to the location, the lady started the whole thing over again and reassigned is as a different customer when they were aware of the U-Haul rental made ahead of time. Only one person knew what he was doing and everyone else was clowning around. First time renting from this U-Haul location and last.
