Sharon ClarkI had one of the WORST experience with my rental. It had nothing to do with the location, BUT my equipment that I reserved was not there. It was rented out, and I was told that , it happens all the time. HUH??" I drove 3 hours to that location to pick up a 15 Ft rental and all that was available was a 10 Ft one .BAD JOB U Haul .I made that reservation on August 3rd. I had to rent a 6x12 trailer so it cost me a extra $200, because of your system . One of your reps gave me a $50 discount off the trailer to make my rental price $200,88 for the trailer. BIG DEAL. I should have gotten more off the trailer rental and or the truck rental. This was your mistake, BIG TIME, and I had to pay dearly for it. It took me a lot longer to load up, and to unload.when I called to complain customer service told me someone will contact me within 72 hour BUT NO noone called me.BAD JOB

nancy cohnFirst 5 x 8 trailer had missing tread in tire down to the core, did't notice until I was getting gas, returned and given second available trailer. Your damn website and phones were down on 4/18. My original order was cancelled I was damn fortunate this location had trailers. Your corporate web and system suck. I hate you, hate you hate you. Never ever again! 1100 for a shitty trailer and service at the corporate phone level.. Must be nice to have no competition.
John PloskonkaMy initial reservation was made at the Scranton location off of Lackawanna Ave. I came on time for pickup (4:30pm) and was told my reservation was canceled because someone gave away the truck I reserved. They had no other trucks to give me. The representative subsequently found an available truck. I could not get it until the next day and it was located in Sweet Valley, which is 45 minutes away from my home. So not only did I have to postpone my departure time but I also had to travel out of my way to get the truck. The Sweet Valley location was fine and the person at the store was nice and helpful since the Scranton representative set me up for a local trip when I told him I was traveling out of the state and back. As a result of this, I can tell you I will look elsewhere if I have the need to rent a truck in the future.

Steven ReichartThere was nothing wrong with the location or the truck itself... however a hundred and $67 to drive the truck 50 miles is extremely unacceptable That's not including gas...considering I also have a monthly rental for our U-Haul storage unit in swoyersville I should have definitely not spend more than $50 to rent a truck to go a couple miles

raymond purdyWanted a enclosed trailer but site said none were available at any location near me. So I settled for a open ramp trailer. Went to the location it said to pick up and that location did not have one available. I then had to travel 35 min out of my way each way to this location to pick it up. Called uhaul representative and was transferred to 3 different people. The last lady was very rude and would not let me speak and threatened to hang up on me. Customer service training service needed. And a better inventory.

James McGillicuddyI had to drive over 1 hour to the sweet valley location to pick up my trailer when there were several locations within less than 30 minutes of my location that were available for me to pick up the equipment. The Sweet Valley representatives were very helpful and professional, however this location was VERY inconvenient for me, and I had no option to pick it up elsewhere. I was also told that a Uhaul representative would call me to advise me of the pickup location, and instead, I received an E-mail less than 24 hours prior to my pickup time. Uhaul needs to do a better job of providing equipment at the customers preferred pickup location at the time requested by the customer, NOT when and where it is convenient for Uhaul.
JEFFREY ISENBERGThe check-in process went very smoothly. There was ample space to park the large truck with a trailer for inspection. The store employs several men so we were helped almost instantly upon arrival.
Thomas ColarossiI reserved a rental to be pick up in Sweet Valley and they didn't have the agreement there it was in Wilkes-Barre had to take a smaller truck out of Sweet Valley because they didn't have the size to the one i ordered put me a hour behind on my move because their computer system is so slow in Sweet Valley

BRUCE KROMISThe rental location and equipment were great. I do, however, have an issue with Uhaul's pricing policy. I find it crazy that I am penalized for an in town rental. If I rented the truck from Sweet Valley and returned it to Pittsburg it was a flat rate of $240 with 299 miles included in the price. I rented the truck for two trips to Honesdale and was charged $40 for the rental and $1,39 per mile. I drove 250 miles so my bill was nearly $400. How is it that I put less mileage on the equipment than if I drove to Pittsburgh but am charged 65 % more just because I picked up and returned the truck to the same Uhaul location? Once again, this a Uhaul pricing issue and not an issue with the Uhaul location.

Ray SchultzNot much to improve on. Uhaul is a secondary service for this business, as they are primarily a lumber/ hardware store. I got the same attention as a regular customer. They handled everything perfectly.
GARY PRETTYInstall a winch on the tongue to winch up vehicles that will not start. I used a 3 ton come-a-long and tow chain to pull the vehicle onto the transport. Other wise the transport worked very well.
