I had pickup scheduled Friday evening from the lock box. Website error meant I couldn't get into the box without calling customer service the location was closed. Spent almost 2 hours on the phone on hold to finally get the box code to find the box was empty. Had to wait until next morning to get the key in person. To have this happen in the middle of a house move was unacceptable and very time costly to me. After finally getting the truck the ac wasn't working and only blew hot air. In the west tennessee heat and humidity I was not impressed. Overall a very poor experience.Ethan R.

The rates were a lot higher than quoted. The lady that done the paperwork was rude. i was told that it cost $19,95 per day and $.89 per mile. After I finished moving what I needed i stopped to put the gas back in it that I used. The old gal told my sister to make sure i did that so you wouldn't charge me for the gas also even though that wasn't mentioned in the rates. When I stopped to get the gas and looked at my messages I had one of U-Haul informing me I had to have it back by 5:15 less than 3 hours from when I rented it. When we got back to the place in Ripley it was closed. We finally located the woman and had to wait for her to come out to get the keys and give me my receipt . She was in the back of the building . My sister went back there and knocked on doors to find her. She jumped her and told her she was knocking on people's doors that live there. She finally came out 20 minutes later. It was all very stressful and she was the rudest person I've ever met . She never told me I had to have the truck back by within 3 hours from the time I rented it. She didn't tell me the business closed at 5 pm but the message said i had until 5:15 to get it back. I was told the $19,95 was for a day rental not an couple of hours. I was lied to from the minute i walked into the place. I will never us this place again. lies was all I was told and I don't deal well with liars.Pat H.

I was told a cargo van would be delivered on site for my rental. It wasn't. I was upgraded to a 20-ft box truck, and only needed 3 feet of it. I wanted a van for a secure sleeping area. In the end, I paid more for gas (4500 miles at 9 mpg) than I did for the rental. A small Subaru would have been a better rental for me than a 20-ft truck. You can make improvements by doing what you said you would do, or stating what you can't, or might not, do.Daryl M.
First, there was a computer "glitch" and the representative had to input reservation information again. This took up about 30 minutes. Second, I am the customer,it is not a requirement for me to know how to hook up a tow dolly to the Uhaul truck. At least train the customer service representatives about the installation of the tow dolly. Luckily, I asked a man who visited the Tennessee Check Advance, for his assistance with the tow dolly. He was nice to help me. Third, Online reservation system needs an overhaul. Reservations online should match upon the customer's visit to the Uhaul store.ANGELA T.

Uhaul location directed me to drive the uhaul to this location. I much rather took it to a location in Brownsville then having to drive to Ripley.ARMARIO D.

Service was good. There could be more information on how to use the equipment. Some of the stickers were worn off. Maybe a how-to on the website with instructions and tips. I had a heck of a hard time.antonio M.

She said there had not been time to clean the vehicle, but it was fine. I marked no because the check engine light was on. We told her, and she said they were aware of it. We had no problems, but I would rather not having any alert lights on. The service was good.robin S.

Make sure the truck is usable and no combination locks are attacked. Ripley office customer service was awful especially on Saturday morning 10/3/2020. She was very disrespectful and ugly acting g. .. Ec ErZANDRA W.

The location was at least 30 minutes from where I was. The windshield had not been cleaned so there were bug marks all over it. We didn't find out until Fri. afternoon where we were to pick up our truck so I was very nervous that we even had one.Amy M.
