I am submitting this complaint to formally dispute the handling of my rental agreement with U-Haul and The Computer House to request a full refund of the amount paid. I have concerns about whether the agreement, charges, and applicable terms were clearly and adequately disclosed before I completed the transaction. I request a substantive review of how the agreement was presented, the charges assessed, and whether the transaction complied with Uhaul's policies and applicable consumer protection requirements. Please review the supporting documentation and provide a written explanation addressing the basis for the charges and the outcome of your investigation. My requested resolution is a Full refund of the disputed amount 409.19, 212.36 and the 5 charges of 40.50 on my account ledger. Please identify the steps U-Haul will take to address this matter. I would prefer to resolve this directly with U-Haul. If the complaint is not substantively reviewed, I may submit the supporting documentation to the appropriate consumer protection agencies and pursue any other legitimate remedies available to me. Please escalate this complaint to a corporate representative with authority to review the agreement and authorize a refund. I request a response addressing the specific issues rather than a general explanation of rental contract. I look forward to U-Haul's prompt and substantive response.

We got to the location and it took forever to get through the pick up steps to get the code to unlock the key only to find the key spot empty.Tried to get help with the chat but ended up having to call and was on hold for 30 minutes waiting to get the call answered. Finally got code for second key box which was also empty. She then gave code for the last box which was a bigger truck which we didn’t need but since it was the only key available and at this point we had been standing in the cold for an hour. We didn’t get charged for the upgrade since we didn’t request that one but honestly, we should have been given a big discount for the whole rental at that point.

VICTORIA VThe location didn’t have an appliance dolly in stock. If that can be more clear when reserving the U-Haul, it would cause a lot less stress. The man at the location told me to call a U-Haul location and ask for the dolly, and was not much help at all. He had Mike’s phone number so that should have been provided up front, instead I had to jump through hoops to find a resolution. The U-Haul rep, Mike was VERY helpful!!!

Rose GWe picked up the U-Haul got to the house to start unpacking just to find a combination lock and couldn’t open the truck! We had to call the store for help and after almost an hour we got to open the combination lock and started packing! The store associate was very helpful the combination lock would have been noticed if they would have inspected the truck upon return from the previous renter!

EDWARD LCheck engine light was on the entire trip and the wipers were useless as well. The employee at the computer shop in Harrodsburg, KY were told of these issues and stated it was safe, “Its safe, I them (know idea) checked it out, I should be fine.” The cabin was filthy, with all of the furniture pads shoved into it.
