There was no one there and no instructions to pick up the keys even though I had made a reservation well in advance. It took an hour to get service from UHaul by phone.

Due to the virus, the process was pretty disjointed and confusing, and the vehicle I had booked wasn't available (it was there, but no keys were provided). After talking to UHaul, we instead were given keys to a truck which worked out fine. All in all, a perfectly fine experience - the truck was in perfect condition, and perfectly clean.

I ordered a 6X12 trailer and when I got there they have never had one. If something is going to posted online as available it should be there when I show up. All they had was a 4X8 trailer so I took it but now I have a half filled apartment because I couldn't do my full move in one go. When the man helping me tried to contact his manager he got zero replies from him so I couldn't even try to get the problem fixed. On top of all of that I had to go and buy an adapter for the truck I was using because this trailer did not even have the standard plug in. Awful experience and it has made my moving much more of a pain than it should have been.

Didnt have trailer we reserved. Charged us 100 more for what yhey had there. Scheduling mgr told us it was same price. Called main uhaul number....they said they couldnt change price. Our reservation said it was GUARANTEED

I liked the customer service and the cost of moving. Unfortunately, you can't reserve a truck and know for sure that it will be there when you need it. Fortunately there was one available.

We expected to rent from Pittsfield, the site of our move, and were disappointed to have to drive 45 minutes there and 45 minutes back to the uhaul store in Pittsfield to pick up the a couple of items we had paid for online. An added expense for us to pay for gas for our vehicle to get there and then the gas for the rental. Plus the extra time commitment.

I appreciate the ability to rent a one way. However with no cruise control in the vehicle the driving was very uncomfortable. When we picked up the car hauler the rental agent knew nothing about the trailer. As for the Bennington location the agent there has a very pissy attitude. I rented storage from them for two months and the truck and Tina was always snotty.

The location was good. The service i received from the uhaul booking/reservation team was terrible, they were rude and didn't care one bit that the reservation they had set up was 40 minutes away from the location I called 1st. Then thenoperataor was rude and wanted to cancel the reservation after inalreadyndeove 3 hours to the location in was picking up from. Customer service sucked and illnpeob never use u haul again.

Ride Share was impossible. It did not work! I had to wait for the uhaul to open and was delayed 3 hours! Uhaul could not help me work it out on the phone. It was not the location . They are great it is the uhaul corpioration that has lowest customer service!

I notified the people about a transmission problem which they said had been given to repair having been told the problem was fixed. A repair was attempted and evidently the repair shop did not pick up the problem. I found the rental process to be simple and easy.

Transmission was compromised in my vehicle. 24/7 app, downloaded, didn't work. Thank God there was an actual person at this location to help me. She came to meet me at 8:30 am, even though the business didn't open until 11:00. Thank you!

The cab had a lot of dried mud on the floor. I initialed that the back was clean, and didn't realize I had also initialed for the cab itself. When I turned the truck in, the people in Chicago at first said that was my responsibility. They relented, but I almost got stuck with it. Otherwise the truck was clean and great.

The web site said they were closed until Monday. I had to have the truck back the day before, on my way to a second drop off site I went by The Cove and stopped, they were open and I did get to return the truck there and save on mileage and gas.

Truck was filthy inside with cigarette butts behind the drivers seat. It smelled like an ashtray. Very annoying while driving. The floor and cargo area filled with dry mud. Had to sweep and clean the cargo area in order to load the truck

The truck was clean, but it was damaged and leaked water. We were not made aware that the document we signed had information on the back about this, and it claimed that we had accepted the risk of water damage.. We also had to pay for renting our furniture blankets twice because this location did not furnish them, and we had to get rent them again in Pittsfield.

The team at the Cove is always friendly and helpful. That said, we've started using the mobile pick-up and return and it's great.

A sign with more specific directions for finding the office (well hidden in a corner of a large bowling alley) would be an improvement. And I had ordered 10 blankets to protect the chairs I was picking up, and they "hadn't come in yet, " but nobody warned me in advance. The woman in the office was able to scrounge up some discarded ones, and I supplemented with some I had at home, but advance notice would have been appreciated.

The online verification process was not simple and painless, and the people at the Cove did not help the situation. It took me an hour to get the van that I only needed for 2 hours. I'd suggest the picture verification, but it seems that the phone call verification was useless. Anyone can lie for you... and my issue was that none of my contacts were picking up the phone. That isn't something I can predict. This portion of the process prolonged my access. Additionally, the keys weren't even in the box that I was given the passcode to. Again an issue. I'm not sure I will ever use this system again. I prefer a person.

I would not recommend UHaul. The advertisement for $19.95 is extremely misleading. Try $79.95 for 6 hours not including mileage. When I booked online I entered the appx mileage and the rental still said 19.95. Imagine my surprise when instead of about $80 it was $128! Totally disappointed and will go with the local guys next time.

It took at least forty minutes to fill out the necessary forms for taking out the van and there were a ton of issues. We returned the van 24 hours after we got it but we're charged for an extra day.
