Cindy HI had to hook up the equipment myself…though he inspected it, he didn't do much work. Nice guy though. I just put service over self, he didn't.
Guy KThey were late opening and then told me that they did not have a truck only trailers. We had to inform them that there was indeed a truck there. The inside of the truck was filthy. There was dog food dumped in the floor, the entire cab was covered with dog hair and the truck smelled like a wet dog. The back of the truck had mud tracked all over the floor. There were moving blankets in the back (not requested) and they were all soaking wet and also covered with mud. Worst U-haul experience I have had. I will not be using this location again.

miachel SI was originally told to drop the truck off in Rome, Dalton or Calhoun, all about 45 -60 minutes away. When I called customer service, the CSR (I wish I could remember her name because she was super helpful and nice!), advised me to call other closer third party locations to see if they would accept the truck. Due to it being 5pm on a Saturday, most were closed. I did get in contact with The History Co, and was VERY NICE and said he'd take it with no problem. Even though this location was closer than Rome, I was still charged for extra mileage (after putting in more fuel than was required). If we had taken the truck back to Rome, we would have been charged a good bit more in mileage and used a great deal more of gas since it's a mountainous trip. Plus Rome is 45 minutes and back tracking. I don't think the customer should be monetarily penalized if there isn't a drop off location in the city they are going to (there are several in Lafayette) and I feel we should be reimbursed for the extra mileage to Fort Oglethorpe as well as the extra gas we put in.

Vernon CInform them that you are charging 0,99 cents a mile for the rental. The truck rental was affordable but the $140 charge for mileage was criminal.
