Was charged incorrectly. Two of the three equipments reserved were not available. Person helping us was very slow took about 30 minutes to finally get the keys and head out. Also tried calling for several days and no one ever answered.Melina G.

The lady at the front is very rude and difficult. When I arrived to pick up the U-Haul there was still stuff in the back and I was made to move it out for her. And I still haven't gotten a receipt for this last rental.Jordan S.
I would not recommend U-haul to my colleagues and customers as I have an active dispute raised for using the van for 3 hours and I am being charged $210. I did refuel the vehicle post ussage, and I do have the proof for it. but the customer support team did not even bother making a note of it.chandra M.

We were met with a conflict of whose van was whose and it took over an hour to resolve. It's really a shame to books through Uhaul and to be met with such subpar service. I'll be reaching out for a refund and plan to always figure out another solution outside of Uhaul.Colin R.

I was charged an extra day despite following the arrangement made with the counter person to simply drop the keys in the door slot by 2 pm Sunday, which I did ar 12:30 pm since they were closed on Sunday. Next, I was not asked, but was charged for insurance without being told. I would have declined if asked. Next, I was not informed there was a 0,89/mile fee in addition to the $19,95 daily rate. Lastly, I spoke to a uhaul agent at (310) 671-0686 regarding the discrepancies and was told I'd receive a response within 72 hours. That was a Monday. It's now Friday with no response.KENNETH B.

The truck was dirty with boxes and a sheet inside when I opened it at my destination. I had to throw out that trash. The walls and floor was covered in dirty and debris. If this wasn't bad enough, I received a receipt in the email and was charged for 201 miles. I only did 30 miles! I took at uber to the location and spoke with a woman. She called the manager and texted him my number. She said he'd call me. He didn't call. Terrible!Daetwaun B.
The place was clean, but not well marked, we did not realize this was affiliated with uhaul. The only was we knew we were in the right spot was another truck in the parking lot. The person was very helpful friendly and efficient once we figured out we were in the right spot.TIMOTHY L.

The pickup process was pretty poor. The store was closed and the mobile/online check in process said I had to 'go inside' (which wasn't possible). I could see two uhaul lockboxes on the gate so why aren't they being used?! Luckily the owner eventually turned up.Tristan P.

Overall the van was in good working order and new. The team was pleasant to deal with inside and helpful. The van was very dirty, on the outside it was covered in dust, and on the inside, there was grass clippings on the ground as well as a beer can behind the driver's seat. The van was also only 3/4 full of fuel of which I took a picture of upon entry, I then proceeded to the nearest fuel station and topped it up which was $28.50...when I returned it I made sure it was full of fuel.CHRISTIAN I.

The owner was extremely helpful with some problems I encountered with a Cargo Van rental. The Office location is very warm and friendly, and it was nice to not have to deal with the hustle and bustle of what I call a traditional Uhaul location. Much more of a "Mom & Pop" vibe, which I appreciate and support. Also, thanks to the Uhaul Scheduling Manager, Leiane, for the help as well. Strong work all around.Gregory E.
Many issues with this rental - 1. The milage out was captured correctly. I was charged for 40 extra miles that I did not drive. 2. The condition of the van was very poor. It was very dirty. Tires had low pressure. Seat belt was not working properly. There was hook on the Van floor that damaged our couch.. All in all, very badly maintained vehicle. 3. After calling to get the extra charges issue resolved, I kept getting transferred to different persons. After talking to 5 different persons and calling 3 times, someone took down my concern.Manish J.

The story is I first went to your location on Obama blvd in los angeles where your store manage recieved 3 personal calls during my visit. There was a problem with the truck rental and die to her paying more attention to her personal life than me getting my truck she couldnt fix the proble. I was also told by a customer that if I got in front of het ( which I already was but was waiting on the side) that she was going to spit on me. No employee said anything to her. I believe this is a racial threat and your store did nothing. I left and went to the office where I was treated extreemly well. They were kind and helpful. But put the wrong time on my paper so I called the uhaul phone number and was told 3 different things one I would be bill e.g. d an extra $51 2 unsecured the truck for 4 hours and on the paper work it says 5. The gentleman on the phone that quoted the $51 never sent a copy of the transcript .I dontbkbow who is lying or who is telling the truth. I will never use this company again. And I just started a business where I need trucks quote often. Your company is thoughtless. I should have filed police charges at the obama location. I just didnt have time unlike your business I care about mine and the customer recieving there service in a timely manner. I am so disappointment. I turned in all the vehicle the same day and now I am getting other charged on my card and being charged another $130 for additional days of use. So useless. I use it less than 3 hours for 3 miles And I put the gas as I take it But u guys charge me 2 times !!Abdellah B.
Luckily the location had a heavy duty dolly available because there was none in the truck as had been promised. The contract we received did not specify the amount of gas in the tank which was only 2/3 full so we were apprehensive about whether we would be charged for not filling the tank. We overfilled it to 3/4 but then got charged 40 cents for each extra mile we drove since the one way charge is based on location to location and does not factor in that the truck needs to go pick up stuff and then drop off. We probably would have been better off renting a truck locally and then returning it to that location which was an option we had explored. Though the truck was clean, it drove as if it had not had a tune up in quite awhile. There were 70 000 miles on it and maybe uHaul was trying to get more mileage on it. The personnel at the location we picked it up were very courteous and made pick up fairly easy.Mark F.

Returned the van on a Sunday as agreed and did as instructed - park the car in the back of the location and put the key in the slot. We have been charged for extra days even though we returned the vehicle on Sunday. I have received the worst customer service ever. The U hall was dirty and there were lots of broken glasses . She didn't send me the contract. When I asked her about my invoice and insurance paper, she treated me very disrespectful and was not polite to me. The lady I met at the return location stated that they were closed and that they are usually not open on Sundays. When I asked her to sign my receipt from the other location for proof of receipt she gave me the keys back and told me to just put them through the slot. I called today around 3pm to make sure they processed my return and they hadn't. I expressed my concern that they were going to charge me for an extra day and they assured me they wouldn't but ended up doing so. Needles to day, I'm very unsatisfied with my overall experience with u haul.Ayvette H.

Upon arrival They didn't have the 10' truck I requested & forced me to pay for the 15' truck. Made me an hour late to meet my movers because of this truck delay. The phone representative was extremely rude, wouldn't give me a last name or ID number to reference her buy when speaking to her boss and my final 2 receipts show that they charged me for 2 trucks a 10' & 15'. Do not come to this uhaul distributor. They are con artistsADAMA I.

I never received a contract at the time of service. All of the transactions had been via email. When I called to indicate that I did not get a contract, the person stated that I had to speak to the manager and he would give me details. I didn't know how much gas, mileage, or even if I was being charged $19,95 per day. When I returned the vehicle, again NO contract and the person stated that she was very busy and went the back of the store. She stated that I used 70 miles, I only took four round trips at exactly 1,1miles and the clerk stated that I went 70 miles. When I challenged her, she stated that you can contact my manager, I am not exactly sure now that the order is closed out. I was charged $150. for three days on a 10" rental. I am disputing these charges and will never utilize this service again!!!!!!GENA P.
