JAMES NRobert was welcoming and friendly in setting up the rental. On site Chris was very friendly, efficient , and supportive. All the folks I spoke with both in Traverse City, MI and Grand Rapids, MI were outstanding. For example, I changed locations for pick up in Traverse City. The fellow in Traverse City offered to make that change and did so. In Grand Rapids, I changed the drop off location. The fellow at the first site offered to make the change and did so. Amazing ! I cannot recall any other company being so helpful and efficient. I am sold on U-HAUL !
JAMES RThe truck was clean but very noisy. I rented the truck one way. They only allow you to drive a certain number of miles, and then charge $1 per mile if you exceed that. I'm not sure how the miles are figured, but since there was not a drop off location in the town where I live, I had to take the truck to another town to return it. This put me over the allotted number of miles and I had to pay an extra $28.

MARK HI rented the 5'x9' trailer with the motorcycle chock in the front and high sides. Not listed as the motorcycle trailer on the website but best option for trailering a motorcycle. When empty it is still heavy enough to tow at hwy speeds without hopping around. Also has the tie-down hooks in all the right places. Barlow location is the best by far!

He new what I was after, Hooked me up to the unit, did the paper work & it was seem lees. The only draw back to this location is the slow or outdated computer system.' HERBERT AThis was NOT a good experience....and I would expect a partial refund. We were called on Friday, July 4 by the regional office. They informed us the local office did not set up our rental for Saturday, July 5 and that our location was closed. The only option was to move to Sunday. We rearranged everything...and were not happy. Turns out, they were open on Saturday! We arrived Sunday and got the truck in the rain. The truck leaked on the "upper shelf" area and damaged all our boxes. Overall, horrible experience.
