The AFM should ensure quality of equipment is up to customer and Uhaul standard considering it is a dealer and not a center, having worked for uhaul and am now a customer, the customer should not need to reroute for things like brake fluid or to fix tire pressure of trailers. Ed does his best while being the only employee while running his business and a dealer at the same time, thankful he was the one we dealt with instead of his wife. Ed helps with trailer hookups, customers have to hook up on their own when his wife is around. If I had not worked for the company in the past, this is something that should be considered a concern to UHAUL for customers with no experience.
Kali SExcellent rental experience using "The Shed" location. First time using the mobile app. Pick up/drop off. After using it, it will go better in the future. Could be more user friendly.
MATTHEW CEd at the Shed is just awesome to deal with...makes renting a u-haul truck easy...would highly recommend! If we ever need a u-haul again, we'll be getting it from The Shed!

Christina EWindshield & windows were very dirty; the windshield has a big scratch in it on the passenger side...someone said that they were surprised that the truck we had was being rented out...not legal with having that scratch in windshield

David LPicked up U-Haul in Altoona and the Rep was very patient with my backing skills. Have used U-Haul and am never disappointed. It would be nice to have adapter for lights. New vehicles are round and had to find a 4 flat for the lights, just a friendly suggestion. Merci!

kristi lDropped equipment off here after hours via the Uhaul app. No difficulties in completing drop off instructions. Parking lot was well lit and key drop box was easily located. A Kwik Trip is located across the street for convenient refueling prior to equipment return.
Jeremy R1. Wouldn't use self serve at this location again. We were delayed over an hour due to the truck not being ready with the equipment we had reserved over a month in advance. The site was closed so no one to help - again, we expected this as we were prepared for self serve. We waited on hold and eventually were able to resolve the issue, but only after traveling to a different Uhaul site to pick up the supplies we needed that the original site had not prepared in advance. We ended up being delayed with our move over 2 hours and had an entire family of people who had traveled from other cities to assist us that were waiting on us. 2. Riding in the truck was extremely bumpy. 3. The owner of this site happened to be there when we arrived to drop the truck off later the same night. My husband attempted to tell him about the issues in the morning and he ignored him, didn't apologize and rush my husband out of the truck without even allowing him to finish the truck return process on the app (didn't take the pictures that were requested due to this). We would not recommend using this site again. For someone who expected the process to go smoothly, we were unpleasantly surprised at the poor quality of this entire experience.

Raul FWas early to pick up the truck from 'The Shed'. It is such a great place, they have a little bit of everything! We were a half hour early but ended up checking the truck out about a half hour late because there was so much cool and vintage stuff to look at. As for the truck itself, aside from being about 1/8 tank or less, it was clean and ran well and was the perfect size we needed to get everything in one trip.

Michael CMy husband discovered a leak in a wheel seal before we left our home & the second truck had 2 leaky wheel seals. So a 3rd truck was good but we were leary about the transload because my husband who has a CDL had the weight distributed the way he felt was best. Our room air condition got put on that front ledge & fell out of place & was broken beyond repair. And the furniture was not covered as well as we had it & some scratches occurred. The loaders did a great timely job & had assured us that it would be ok to just load it backward rather than take it out & reload in the same order. We also had the kayaks in there differently & the load locks got bent (which I think we can straighten out)z. All in all it wasn't a great experience. Woodfords were great & we are really glad he didn't follow the Greenbay service persons advice to let us use the second truck with the 2 leaky wheel seals. Dave Woodford ran to Bloomer to pick up the 3rd truck. We had been hoping to be on the road Thursday am - 9 hours later qe were finally ready.
Lori BI've never had a bad experience with U-Haul until I've rented a truck from the U-Haul facility attached to "The Shed". Receptionist was rude, the shared vet clinic manager allegedly has consistent issues with how renters park their trucks. This would be the very last location I'd recommend anyone to use if they needed to rent a U-Haul.

Paul TThe only problem I had was the one I reserved was not available at the place I reserved it. However they offered me a bigger one at the same price at another location that wasn't too far away. It was too big for me to drive so I had to get another driver.
