Received truck with a quarter tank of fuel, showing distance 127 miles, returned truck with quarter tank showing distance 128 miles, but still got charged for gas. Disappointed, when I picked it up I was told to return with equal or greater amount.

eric sVery friendly people, they came through even when Penske didn't I had originally had reserved one through Penske but they said it was $139 then when I went to pick it up they wanted almost $300 so I jus walked out and called u-haul. You all have earned my business from here on I will only deal with u-haul. Thank you guys so much for everything. And one last thing your prices are 1000 times better than Penske by a long shot.

JOHN CWas billed for $34 for a cleaning fee after drop off, when we picked up it was full of mud and rocks and we swept it out prior to loading and after unload. Pretty unfair we had to clean it twice and we were charged.

That's a poor way for Uhaul to do business.

donna cThis location did not have the packing blankets I had requested when I made the trailer reservation several weeks earlier. Also, I was called by a U-haul representative a few days before picking up the trailer and notified the pickup location had been changed. I specifically asked if the blankets would be available and was told "yes." I had to drive an additional 50 miles to get the blankets.

JOHN MYou need to have the right equipment ready when customer picks up the truck. The ramp didn't work right so I had to lift more than I should have had to. P
Jeff EHad truck 24 hrs and 10 minutes (have photographic proof) so was charged for two days. Business was not open when returned, and would not return my call when I called about the charges. When they finally answered the phone, they stated the lady that took care of that wasn't there and to call back, but they never answered the phone or returned my calls. Rented truck for my church to perform charity work. Have done this for last 3 or 4 years but will consider alternative next year.
Charles BOwner closed the shop 3 hours early, 1 hour before I arrived for my 4pm truck reservation, which stranded me 30 minutes from home, and put me 17 hours behind schedule. No voicemails we left, were returned. Family emergency claimed by the owner turned out to be the owner prepping for a Halloween party he was throwing.
James RI told my agent at this location that I did not want insurance under any circumstances. She was not there on the saturday she promised she would be. The guy that issued the trailer promised to take it off and that I did not need a copy of it . They charged me anyway and now I need a refund due to dishonesty . Never again.

Georgia EWorst uhaul experience I ever had emailed uhaul customer service and still no reply going on 4 days now. So let me just get started what I wrote verbatim in the email I sent of my horrible experience. I am highly upset right now. Just rented a uhaul today. This uhaul has numerous issues and is dangerous to drive. The brakes are horrible and grind, ABS alarm system keeps going off and does not go off. The whole entire dash lights flash on and off, it was the roughest ride in a uhaul I have ever experienced. Never have I experienced this before in a uhaul. . I have rented numerous uhauls and never had this happen before in a previous rented uhaul. When I rent a u-haul I expect that when I pay what I do cost wise to be provided with something guaranteed safe to move in as promised by u-haul. This needs to be rectified!!! as after this experience I do not want to use another uhaul again for the pure carelessness in ensuring a safe usable uhaul for customers. It was scary driving down the road and hearing this uhaul sound the way it does, the alarms going off inside the uhaul.. We made the place we rented it from aware they said uhaul has been well notified about these issues with this thing. But again when I rent something it should be safe to use and up to par with repairs needed. I was told that it had a quarter tank in it right as we rented it and it did not it has a half of a quarter in it which I took a picture immediately once I noticed that before it was even off lot. But was expected a quarter to be put back into it bringing it back. Also there is something wrong with gas amounts this truck sucked up a quarter of gas in barely 12 miles worth in distance that is insane and horrible service on uhauls end of agreement.

Kurt WThe return app is cumbersome. It took too long to work through the return process. It worked, but was cumbersome. I think some effort to smooth out the multiple steps would be helpful. The location was dirty and junk lying around everywhere. Poor lighting and rain contributed to the feeling of unease. I felt uncomfortable walking around the dark area at night trying to return the truck. It wasn't late at all, but because it gets dark very early this time of year contributed to the issue, as well. Did it work? Yes. Was anything actually unsafe? No. Was it easy to find? No. Better signage would help. GPS took us to a road where you could see the location, but couldn't get to it easily. We figured out that we had to go back out towards the main road and cut through a couple parking lots. May have been easier in daylight. I suggest adding more light for returns after dark. Again, nothing horrible. But these are things that would've improved the experience.
