The location was great! The truck was not. The transmission was slipping and made the drive the single most terrifying experience of my life. If I had not been driving in the middle of nowhere by myself with a 26 foot truck full of stuff, I would have stopped and returned the truck and rented a different one. Every time I went downhill, the truck engine would make terrifying noises and the RPMs would hit 4,5-5 which was almost in the red. Please get this truck looked at before renting it out to anyone else.

Wanoka SMake sure that when checked in they get accurate vehical info I received equipment and had full tank returned full and was charged for fuel charge don't know how equipment uses 7 gallons of gas in 12 miles I will not be using u haul services again or recommend any freinds or family to use your services

Wayne BTrailer was caked in thick mud. Had to go to car wash before I could load it. Brake system was leaking and sprayed oil on back of the van. Loud thunk sound when stopping.

Samuel LWhen I picked up the truck, in my eyes the truck should've been full not empty. I have to guess how much fuel I'm going to use for the job instead of just filling back up when completed. Seems like a lot better system than having the trucks empty. The truck was supposed to have a quarter of a tank in it but it did not. I took pictures to prove it. I picked up the truck expecting to be at my work area in X amount of time but now I had to stop and put gas in the truck that put me behind. Just my thoughts but I think you'll be a lot better off having everybody fill the trucks up full and bringing them back full that way I only put in what I use. Instead of leaving my gas in the truck for the next guy and not receiving compensation for it.

Mari MEverything was fine. I ended up wiping down the interior of the truck because there was sticky stuff on the dash and console that I didn't notice when I did my online check-out. It would be nice if truck was wired for USB port instead of old-style aux "line in" but I did enjoy being able to listen to my book as I drove. Staff at this location is friendly and knowledgeable.
DeAnna RThe guys were great. Only snag was that trailer lights were not working even though the unit had been recently serviced by Uhaul representative. The guys from Storage Shed jumped right in and got repairs done so I could get on road. Great service!

David NAfter making a reservation for a trailer, I shouldn't have been expected to drive 90 miles to pick it up. My local dealer should have procured the trailer in advance.

STEVEN MMy rental had a short in the speed alarm. It would come on at 40mph and stay on full blast. No help on Sundays. I called the UHaul emergency line-waited on phone for 90 min- Only recording. Tried web site- Could not get info to submit. The speed alarm became intermittent after about 200 miles into my trip. I drove 1200 miles with the alarm on most of the trip. My average speed was 60mph on Int 20 with 75 mph speed limit. Hard trip with ear plugs. The rental location would have never known about the short in the speed alarm unless driven over 40mph.
Tim TI did not give the location low scores because I am not dissatisfied due to anything regarding them. I reserved a 20ft truck earlier this week and received a call, while driving to pick it up, that it wasn't available. We were told there may not be one available for us. We were appreciative that one became available a few hours later. However, it was much smaller and it was at a location without a person available to check us out. The process of self-checkout was difficult and long.
Logan MI rented the 26ft truck for 2 days. The process to book a uhaul should not be this difficult. It took 15 minutes to set up an account just so I could get the keys to the truck using their share app. Then after you do get the truck, it's 79 cents per mile which is really expensive since I've already paid $40 per day just to have this massive truck in my possession. If that's not bad enough, you have to take pictures of every aspect of the truck once you're done and hope that someone doesn't see something they think you should be charged for since you're at their mercy. I am a huge fan of uhaul trailers but I will never rent a uhaul truck again.

JULIE DI had he U-Haul Center in Coralville, Iowa put on a brand new hitch recently for my trip to Florida. The hitch installler seemed a bit flippant but I hoped for the best. But when I went to pick up the trailer, the lights didn't work. The people in Kirksville were sweet and nice enough to let me have the trailer. U-Halul needs to get my hitch and the electrical wiring right I paid $484 for the installation, thanks, Glen Korica

Sadia BMy experience was a disaster-on my end- We had multiple delays with the closing of my house last minute.... for a month... so I had to change my reservation with UHaul multiple times... The customer service representatives were always friendly and respectful and helpful... Pick up was very easy, and the employees were very helpful.
