Claude LawrensonSomeone should explain that you're going to get an email to return the vehicle. I dropped the vehicle off before 3pm and took a pic of the mileage and fuel. But I happened to see an email about returning it and had to drive back to the location of the truck in order to fill out the information of the return or get charged an extra $20 for them to do it next day. I also had to pay 2 days when I only used it for 4 hours from pick up to drop off because the location wasn't open Sundays. Drove less than 20 kms and brought it back with more gas than it had when i picked it up. He said he would try and discount it but that never happened.

Callum TaylorGot there at 130pm was told I drop off at 130pm next day as I had 24 hrs. There was less than quarter gas in the truck. But realized at the drop off it said drop off 1pm and that there was a full quarter of Gass.

JOHN BELLOFIOREIt’s not the location itself that is the problem, but the uhaul drop off location at 2031 county rd 42 in Belle River. We called to make sure it was open (since the one in Emeryville closed down 2 years ago, even though it is still listed on the uhaul website?!?!?) and they told us we could drop it off there, only to get there and park and only THEN to be told that we needed to drive the truck to the UPS store location!? Very inconvenient, frustrating and a waste of time!!!! We were very disappointed in the runaround we received in just trying to return the truck!!!
Cory RubinA lot of confusing happened in getting my rental. I was not asked about safe move . Most disappointing to see it was put on my contract. I refuse safe move when I do local trips. Feels like I got baited to take something I don't need
john brownieI've lost 50 minutes rying to locate thr U-Haul office. It is within a UPS store, without an indication they also cover U-Haul services. The truck cabin was absolutely gross, I don't think it's ever been wiped clean. The staff was friendly, but couldn't accommodate the extension of the rental for the time wasted on the phone and wondering around the plaza, trying to locate the service desk.
Andrei JulaThis particular location said it had 24/7 drop-off with a Dropbox when it did not - I was there late after moving between cities stranded, unable to finish my return by giving back the keys. The customer service on the phone was very helpful, but I truly felt like a fool looking for a Dropbox that was not there like it should have been according to the U-Haul site. My biggest regret is not asking for a discount on my reservation for this peculiar issue that ended up taking up a lot more time than it needed to by myself (and my family).

Kelly ChristoffScheduled to pick up at 9:00 no one showed until 9:20. Truck was covered in ice and snow and I had to spend 20mins clearing off but could reach the top of the windshield! Didn't get out of there until 10:00 because of these things! Didn't have dolly as requested. They did give us a small moving platform as replacement free of charge however.

Mike GignacThe staff was wonderful to work with, however, the interior of the cab was muddy and the box could have been swept out better.
David MoncurThe people there claimed that the system was down, and badger me for cash. At first, they asked for $100. I said no. I ended up giving them $73,45 in cash, without any receipt (because I had to move out that day and I was running out of time). I was not given any guide on how to operate the vehicle and they did not print out any agreement form.
Angela TuThe emeryville u haul location should be reprimanded. I head reserved a 26 foot truck and even received an email checkin three days before confirming my rental. When I phoned Friday, the day before I was to pick it up, to say I would be three at eight o'clock, they said they had to get back to me. I called a couple and finally at 330 they said they no truck for me. They nothing to help defray costs
david hannWiring harness on truck was not working. I wasted time on move day and had to find other method of towing the trailer I rented from U-Haul too
Lois BurgessThe truck was dirty. There was garbage in the back and in the cab. The truck did not handle well. It absorbed none of the shock from bumps in the road to the point of almost losing control at higher speed.
Daniel FryerI would have appreciated a full tank of gas to begin my trip, similar to when you rent a car. There was less than half a tank of gas so I had to stop early for fuel. In addition, I would have expected the pickup location to open on time. I was on a tight schedule today. Location was supposed to open at 10am but they were late opening by 7 minutes. Not very professional,
Ken BroadbentWhat happened to the 24 hours that customers were given when renting a U-Haul???? Only complaint we have is rushing to get the truck back within a short time having it, 4 hours not 24 hours or being charged extra.

We had to call when we saw our truck but could not figure our where to do the paperwork. Also we were booked for 10 AM and the office did not open until about 11 AM

DON CAROMUhaul took a rough process and made it absolutely horrible! This was the worst and most stressful moving experience of my life simply because of uhaul. I can't even begin to describe the things that went wrong and how the customer service of uhaul was terrible every step of the way. I wouldn't wish my experience on my worst enemy. This location was fine. But DOUGALL and uhaul in general were garbage

HAZIM JAFFRII WAS RIPPED OFF FOR A FUEL CHARGE OF $29 BECAUSE I RETURNED THE VAN WITH 1/2 A TANK AND THEY SAID IT WAS SLIGHLY OVER A 1/2 TANK WHEN I RECEIVED THE VAN ON SATURDAY. IF THIS COMPANY WOULD OF BEEN OPEN ON SUNDAY WHEN I RETURNED THE VAN, I COULD OF GONE TO THE GAS STATION AND PUT IN AT THE MOST $10 IN GAS TO REACH THIS SLIGHTLY OVER 1/2 A TANK. WHY DOESN'T U-HAUL PROVIDE A FULL TANK OF GAS AND THE CUSTOMER WOULD RETURN WITH A FULL TANK OF GAS, AS ALL CAR RENTALS DO. I FEEL THIS PARTIAL TANK POLICY IS ONLY THERE TO CHEAT THE CUSTOMER. IF I AM NOT REFUNDED $20 , I WILL NEVER USE U-HAUL AGAIN AND WILL EXPRESS MY DISPLEASURE TO MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS. P.S CONSUMERS ARE NOT STUPID AS U-HAUL TENDS TO BELIEVE.

RONY JIRJISTruck was filthy and in poor mechanical condition. Windshield wiper on drivers side did not work when in encountered rain. Truck was under powered an in need on tune up. Very very poor gas mileage as a result of engine being under power. The vehicle was not very safe and should have been apparent on inspection before rental. The cab of the vehicle was very disgusting with what appeared to be pop sprayed over the interior. I had to spend about an hour cleaning the cab before departing. Truck was not the size requested and date of requested pickup was not available.
