I arrived and was advised that he did not have room for the truck and I would have to drive it to The Vintage Market. This resulted in extra miles and a $2,07 charge for the extra miles. I don't believe that this should have not have been charged!!

Upon arriving the vehicle needed a new antenae to be installed. The vehicle ran rough which surprised me given the low mileage. This was the only vehicle available so I had to drive an hour out of my way to get it and another hour back. I lost two hours because the equipment that I reserved was not available.

That place had no signage and no office. The person who took it worked at a nearby cabinet company that we went into to ask for directions. The whole operation was a mess. The right hand did not know what the left hand was doing.

James M.Website: Tried to do the entire rental for the car hauler online, but the site has a list of the make/models of the vehicle being towed on the hauler and has no place for anything that is not included on that list (like- "other"). In my case, a Kawasaki Mule side by side. Not a car. Could not proceed beyond that point on the site. Equipment: Car Hauler- worked very well, good condition overall though the locking mechanism for the ball hitch needed oil (rust). But otherwise good. The business/service- Pathetic. They sell kitchen cabinets & countertops and the UHAUL business is just a sideline. No problem. But the person who handled the entire rental process was 100 % incompetent. (Regenia May) (yes, correct spelling). The check in & rental process took over an hour ONLY because she could not figure out the UHAUL software requirements. It should have taken 10-15 mins MAX. Had to call (somebody) to help her with every step of the process. Had NO IDEA what she was doing. Upon my return, which was a day early, once again she was lost. Had NO IDEA how to do the early return software and again, had to rely on calling another person to guide her thru it. Then when it came to the fact that I wanted a paperwork receipt showing that my credit card was only being charged one day instead of the original two days, LOST. Had NO IDEA how to get there. Luckily, that magic person she had been relying on was at the other end of the phone to show her. The return of the hauler took 1-hour. Should have been maybe 10-mins. I have no doubt that she is knowledgeable about selling countertops & cabinets, but if UHAUL is going to have somebody who is that incompetent renting their equipment, they are going to loose business. I am 66 yrs old, have rented a LOT of trailers from UHAUL over the years, but have never experienced an issue like this.
