My experience with renting from this U-Haul location inside a gas station was quite confusing and frustrating. When I called the U-Haul number to inquire about their whereabouts, the representative seemed unaware of their specific location, adding an initial layer of uncertainty to the process. Upon arriving at the gas station, I discovered that the U-Haul rental was situated in a strip center at the opposite end of the parking lot. Thomas GIt's a gas station. The truck was dirty and the equipment I paid for was not in the truck. The gentlemen that helped me was a great individual but I wouldn't rent at this location again.
Reya BVerification process is stupid
Shaoyi ZI was told with no notice (at the check in desk) that my rental dollies weren't available. Secondly, apparently the lady failed to dispatch me and yet gave me the keys to the truck and said I was good to go. This gave me issues returning the truck later.

Andaliwah SThe check in process went smoothly. All thought when I inspected the truck it was really dirty and I was almost charged a $25 cleaning fee which I was refusing to pay. But when I received my receipt, the charge was not added.
LaTonya HDon't charge people for items you don't have. Don't lie about having items in the truck.
Daniel GThe process was easy and went smoothly. I even went back the next day because I realized I left some documents inside the truck (while I went to make note of the mileage), and the guy was helpful. It wasn't totally obvious where to drop off the key. The trucks are on one side, but you have to walk to the gas station to return the key - either outside in the dropbox or inside to the gas station clerk.
Kaylon EYour company needs to train agents better on assisting customers with kiosk issues. I have never heard so many "I don't know's" when dealing with a company. You also need to have a way of contacting property managers while they walk the property to resolve customer issues.

Lea AThe man I spoke to could barely communicate with me. Not unpleasant, but unhelpful. He instructed me to leave the lock on the back door, which I was later admonished for by another Uhaul team. The truck was parked in such a way that it took me ten minutes to maneuver it out of the parking lot. I believe this location also changed the location of my drop off to something a further 20 miles away or so from where I'd requested, which dipped into the gas I'd put in the truck and means Uhaul got to double bill me for gas because of their rep's mistake. I would avoid this place, I'm not sure they know what they're doing.
Lauren AThis location was in a very sketchy place, with sketchy people. The customer service person was literally picking his nose while he was talking to us. It was very disorganized. It was located at a convenience store, but that wasn't something that was obvious when we booked our U-Haul. We had problems picking up the U-Haul as the system double booked the same truck. I was not honored the 50 dollar guarantee, when I mentioned it the guy looked at me like I was crazy. This whole experience was very inconvenient, I will not be returning to this location, and U-Haul should consider withdrawing their Buisness from this location. SUPER SKETCHY!
ALBA ZThe clerk on duty couldn't tell me for sure which truck the key he handed me was for, when asked if the dolly I had requested was in the truck he replied 'I'm not sure, go check and see. If it's not, I'll go see if I can find one.' When we did find our correct truck, the dolly in back was the small one when I had requested the furniture dolly for $10, and despite providing photographs showing that we never used that dolly it took 2 phone calls to get the charge taken off my bill(the 1st person made notes but didn't start a dispute)
KAREN CI should have received some type of confirmation or receipt in person for the drop off. Maybe there would not have been confusion on the amount of time I actually had the truck…
TEONNI HHorrible experience. reservation at 9 and gentleman couldn't find key, didn't know what he was doing. By 930 found key, returned truck 2 hrs later and said manager would be in around 530 on could I come back. Worse experience ever.
KIMBERLY CI was charged for 2 dolly's, the furniture dolly and the utility dolly. I thought the furniture dolly was the utility dolly because they looked the same on the picture. The lady at the front cash register told me she would just take off the furniture dolly and just swap it out for the utility dolly. I check my receipt and I saw that I got charged for both of them when I only used the utility dolly.
ERIN BI chose to do mobile pickup, but still had to go in and spend15 min answering the same questions I answered on the mobile app.
James LThe cashier said that she would send the receipt later. I made the mistake of not having her complete a walk through before leaving. I was billed for 2 gallons of gas and only drove approximately 20 miles. We picked up the truck at 2 pm and returned it before 4 pm. The gas tank was left with the same amount of gas. Never will use this location again because it's close to my house. I will make the drive….
RENAUD CWhen I went to pick up they did not seem to have a very good system in place. I waited over 30 minutes in between customers for the guy to get me set up and to finally find the key. The vehicle was okay but for some reason every time I tried to start the vehicle it would take 15-20 turns of the keys for it to actually "catch". Overall not a good experience, but for the proximity the cost was good.

ORLANDO ONeed more help available instead of just one person to take care of everything. Plus the gas gauge is broke on the truck so I ended up putting in 15 gallons of gas for a 50 mile trip.
Christopher JThe truck was great, it was clean and ready to go. The location was a gas station and they only has 1 person doing the checkout and she was behind a large plexiglass panel and was wearing a mask so she was hard to hear and understand. To her credit, she did know how to process the rental transaction, but it was a little time consuming.
GEOFFREY IThe app and the website kept lagging and being impossible to use. I had scheduled a pick up using my phone but was unable to make it load. It kept freezing up and made the entire experience annoying. The location and their staff was great though.

BRIANHALE SThis was the worst experience i had. I waited 45 min for a uhual with a reservation and they couldn't figure it out. They wanted me to text my id and credit card number to the managers cell which was very dangerous and sketchy. Soon after that day when i gave my credit card to the manager over the phone my card was stolen for fraud 2 hrs later. Dont go back to this place very sketchy.
