ROBERT GThe location was a tire shop not a U-Haul location. Renting for U-Haul was a side gig. The first location I was given wasn't a U-Haul business at all. I was sent to pick up a truck at an empty lot with 1 U-Haul truck behind an assisted living facility. Crazy huh. When I called the U-Haul rep he said that location wasn't set up yet to go to the tire shop to get a truck. Not a ez experience. Because of all that I ran over the 6 hour time allowance and the rental cost more than it should have.

Some times answers are not yes and no...I have to say no, but if you gave me a better choice, I would pick the choice not no
Elizabeth GCustomers should be sent to an actual UHAUL location that will have equipment like towing parts. I had to drive to Harbor Freight to get what i needed then drive to pickup the trailer. The guy just hookup the trailer, without checking the operation of the light. I had to check the lights...

STEPHEN TI rented a motorcycle trailer at the listed price. I didn't notice until later that I was charged an extra $10 dollars for something I didn't ask for! I only needed it local for about an hour but was charged about $25 instead of the listed $14.94. This is very disappointing and I'm not happy about that!
Daniel DThe location where I picked up my U-Haul truck was excellent and Ben was very professional and got us on our way in minutes. However, U-Haul themselves were horrible. This location was the 3rd location that we were sent to in order to pick up our truck. The truck was reserved to be picked up at a location with a live person. However, U-Haul decided to change my pick up location to one that only had a lockbox and we were unable to retrieve the code to open it. The representatives on the phone were useless. Finally one of the Reps (after over 1/2 hour on the phone) changed the location to this one and we got our truck. I will NEVER USE U-HAUL AGAIN.
Robert SOnce I arrived, they were out immediately and hooked up the trailer. Very friendly and quick to get me on my way without delays.
Tom SIt took a long time for them to get the computer stuff and payment completed even though I checked in in advance. Then the guys who hooked up the trailer had obviously not been trained on how to connect a trailer correctly. The employees at the drop-off location were shocked about how the chains were connected and asked if I disconnected the trailer and hooked it back up.

Marc HWe accidentally left a key on the key ring on a Saturday and when we called the rental place back on that Monday after being closed, they said they did not have the key because it was rented out again and did not come back with the key. I don't know who that's possible when they were closed.

Robert SThis was probably the worse experience with Uhaul that I've ever had. I made a reservation for a truck but their system showed a van. They didn't have a truck available, so they told me to go to a different location and the gentleman had to cancel the reservation. I took a ride share to the first location and now, had to take another one to the second. Spending money needlessly. Then, arriving at the second location $14 away, I had to wait close to 15 minutes for someone to come from the back and help. Only to find out that the reservation was not canceled but transferred. I called customer service and received no help or compensation for time or added money spent. The guy at the second location took my license and credit card. Swiped my card without telling me what I was being charged for. Tossed the keys on the counter and disappeared. No paperwork. No walk through of the truck. Nothing. I returned the truck with gas. The location was closed. Hours later, I saw that my card was overcharged. I called the location and was told that when the manager came in at 2pm, he would refund the overage back to my card. I don't see it. Time and money wasted.
Jason TIt was an old and dumpy location - straight out of the 1950's. Needs to be cleaned up and modernized.
Roy JThe employee answered the phone for a personal call while I was trying to get the van I reserved. It took 18 minutes to get the keys. I called at 2:30 pm to say I would be late because I had an EMERGENCY. His response was "if it's not back by 4 pm I'm charging you for an extra day." An extra day was added to the receipt. I was never given any paperwork to sign and all I have for proof of rental is the receipt. This location is absolutely the worst and I will drive further the next time to rent from another location.

Robert AWhen the guy opened the back of the truck it smelled like a dead body was inside and there was trash inside. He said some people do bad. He swept it out and spayed some chemical inside but it still smelled horrible. He gave me the key. It was the wrong key so I had to go back in to get the right key. I oreded sa furniture mover which he put in the trunk. He placed it on the wheels so when I stopped it slammed the wall. It was so loud i thought someone hit me. I was given no paperwork so if I had gotten pulled over I would not be able to show that I rented the truck. I feel I am due some money back for that truck. They had no others so I was stuck with that one.

Victor FI was charged a $10 CDW fee not sure what that is and did not know about it until i received my bill in my email since they don't give you a paper copy when you turn it in so i could not ask or dispute it. Can anyone tell me what that is and would uhaul refund it?

JOSEPH TThere was food left over in the truck sunflower seeds in the cup holders the guy who registered me did not know what there doing they had you type in your own stuff meaning second driver extra phone number then to top it off I was told 69 cent a mile and charged 99 cents I am very unpleased with uhaul when your Bernini told one price and charged another

Oscar MThe staff was nice, however he kept saying the van was "new" but it had over 5000 miles and the mirror fell off. I didn't nothing wrong, but was charged $150 because the mirror straight fell off on the highway. It felt like there were transmissions issues as well. I would never go here again because it felt like a scam.

ED KThe rep at this location is not trustworthy, but he was not disrespectful - just very shady.... I made my reservation online and purposefully choose NO INSURANCE. When he handed me the key, I did a walk around on the truck and there was a ripped side of the truck (driver's side) that did not have to usual sticker to indicate it happened on a previous rental. I took a pic. of it with my phone which time stamped it to show I took possession of the truck and the damage was already there even before leaving his Lot. He put a sticker after I told him to verify I did not make that damage. I also asked for him to provide a paper copy of this rental transaction - he told me it's all online and could not give me anything. I was very wary of that remark from him and already lost trust because of the way he was handling this transaction. When I returned the truck and tried to pay - the invoice was for an extra $14 - so it was approx. $54. I told him I did not choose any insurance (I only used the truck for 11 miles, on back roads so I felt safe to do that). He told me he cannot remove the charge, and that I should be thankful I did not have an accident while driving, and the $14 was good to have. I immedidately called U-haul Cust. Svc, and the Rep was great, she confirmed my online reserv., and saw that I did not choose Insur. when I placed the reservation. So this man at that dealer was behaving in a very unproffesional and criminal manner in adding on the Insur. - I also told him I brought my car insurance with me to show I had vehicle insur. I see today via email that U-Haul charged me a total of $61,89 for this rental!!!!! What else did this man at his rental lot charge me for???? I am disputing this charge with my credit card company and ask for your help to recharge me the honest and proper amount for renting the truck. Truck rental: $19.95, drove 11 miles total, truck was out for less than 2 hrs. (I rented for 4 hrs), truck was clean, I put gas in the truck before return, $1 "environmental chg", and sales tax if any. Merci

David MNobody in the office area. Had to go find them in the shop both times I went to this location. Also got charged for 6 gallons of gas when I returned it exactly on a 1/4 of a tank like the agreement stated.
