the gentleman that helped me was great....quick, easy, and very helpful...also a former Marine...I'm an Army vet...was nice to chat with him. i was in and out with the key in my hand very quickly...I was actually impressed....and when I returned the truck...the same gentleman helped me check out....real nice man....he quickly got me done and sent me an email receipt.....probably the fastest and easiest truck rental I've ever done....and I've rented Uhaul's many many times over the years! I was in town to help a friend pack what he could and get out before the fire got to his house...we packed the truck and had it in the driveway for 5 days ready to get out at a moments notice.....the piece of mind of having the Uhaul truck was the most amazing thing in the middle of complete kaoss ...in the long run..the winds shifted and he was spared...we unloaded the truck and was happy to return it instead of trying to find a place to go.....thank you Uhaul for always being there when I needed you!!!!! as a former ARMY veteran......I SALUTE YOU!!

They ripped me off I signed for a Dailey rental at $29 and had it for five days that's $145 / they proceeded to charge me for a weekly Rental without my permission for over $350 which included mileage which I did not ask for and then they charge me actual mileage they charge me for insurance that I never wanted. The total bill came to $600 when it should've been closer to 200 or under 300 they charge me in my opinion and ripped me off. I had the vehicle dropped off and didn't have time to stay so they closed it out without calling me with the final amount shame on them

Generally unpleasant staff, seemed annoyed to be having to take a vehicle. Tank was also exactly at the amount labeled on the rental sheet, and I was charged for gas…

Staff was great. However, the truck rented did not have working headlights and the vehicle kept buzzing as I'd the key was still in the ignition. Drove the vehicle at night which made it very difficult to see during the trip.

I drove a TOTAL of 38 miles round trip. I was charged for 80 miles. As I drove approximately 15 miles to the destination to pick up items, I noticed the odometer said 40 miles driven. I was confused. When I returned the truck, the clerk said my mileage would be $32.00. When I received the final receipt in my e-mail, it said 80 miles and $135. You can calculate the mileage from 7134 Topanga Canyon Boulevard, Canoga Park to 14400 Addison in Sherman Oaks. Then returned to my house at Erwin Street, Woodland Hills to drop off items, then to 7134 Topanga Canyon Blvd, Canoga Park to return the truck. You figure it out. This is outrageous and a fraud. You people are criminals.

He kept trying to charge me more than what I was expecting when I got there. Didn't confirm the amount before running the transaction. He ended up charging me a $25 fuel fee when I did fill the tank. And I only drove the truck 6 miles. I am going to dispute the charges if they are not removed

Reservation# 86983158 This company has the busiest services that I have ever seen in my life. I reserved a car for 7:30 AM on 7/13/2024 about three weeks ago. A week ago, I called customer service and explained that this is a special reservation. I wanted to confirm the time and the requests I had made. Finally, on the desired date at 8:00 in the morning, after visiting the specified location, I was in disbelief to find a furniture store there, which was closed. I waited until 9:30 in the morning when two representatives calmly told me that they could cancel my reservation and send me to another address. I called customer service and asked to speak with a responsible manager or supervisor, but they all dismissed me. This company is extremely poor at providing services and respecting customers' time.

the whole check in using my phone was overly complicated and nonsensical. what if i did not have a phone? have the clerk check people in and don't diminish the human element.

If a person doesn't open one of the moving blankets bags, they should be refunded. I was not. That's very unfair practices.

Hello, David that help me didn't explain the charges in detail until I received the bill over $200 dollars it would of been great if he would explain in detail at the time I was picking up the uhaul. Not very happy about service.

The locations renter was very rude ,other than charging me xtra he asked me to not use the Uhal again and he ordered me leave my business right now! I am so upset and sorry for my experience. Please don't give your business to this kind of person who doesn't care about UHal and customers. Please call me if you need additional information.

Got my Uhaul and the tank was on E. When I went to fill it up gas started leaking form bottom. This was after a 30 min wait to even get access to my UHaul. Then had to drive back and get a new one. Wasted my time.

This location was fine and no issues picking or dropping off our rental. However, the reservation experience could use improvement (nothing to do with this location. We originally rented from a location closer to our home. Our van was never returned by previous customer, this also happened with the rescheduled vehicle. This caused us a lot of undue stress. I understand u-Haul cannot control returns however, you should only rent based on current availability and not rely on returns. It isn't fair to those who plan in advance.

Make sure that you check the rental period that you are renting for. If it is for a certain number of hours, ensure that it is inputted correctly if you arrive early or late. You will get charged an additional rental period if you return outside of the that it says. Regardless if you are 1 minute late or 20 minutes late. ie: Rental was from 1p-7p. I arrived 1:42p to pick up and returned at 7:19p. I was charged an extra rental period because on the receipt, my new rental period was from 1:42p-7p. Even though I rented for 6 hours specifically.
