Truck was not cleaned before we picked it up. It was full of moving blankets from the previous user, trash was left in the cab and it was not swept out. One moving blanket covered in dry leaves was left spread out in the back. We shook it out and folded it up. Also called the morning of to adjust my time because we over slept. Was told it was done but when I got a call an hour before my return time I learned it wasn't done. We were forced to rush the truck back due to the locations mix up. They had a reservation that came to get the truck before I was due to return my 24 hr rental. No apologies, no thank you for cleaning. Nice van but unimpressed with the customer service. Gave it an average rating because this appears to be the new norm.Tracy S.

Upon pick up, I was informed they did not have the equipment I had rented (2 ) 2 wheeler's. I was told they only have one, but I could go look at another Uhaul if I wanted and they only charged me for the (1) 2 wheeler The truck was full of sand in the drivers side & passenger side of the cab. I did drive to 2 other Uhaul locations to find a 2nd 2 wheeler and the Burnsville location had one available for me to take. The lady at this location was very kind and attentive to working with me.Jo R.

There was an issue with scheduling and the van we had reserved was not there. Luckily, there was a truck available but during a much shorter time frame and we had about 2 hours to move out of our place. This could have easily been avoided when the van didn't show up at the time it was expected and we could have been made aware to try to find another place to pick up from so that we would not have been so crunched for time.Kaia Z.

They didn't have the size truck I had reserved nearly a month in advance. TheUHaul website allowed me To book pickup at 830 am, but the location didn't open until 9. There was no set up to get gate code or lockbox code. Staff that arrived at 9, did her best. Gave me a discount on mileage since I had to make 2 trips.Doris O.

The attendant that did the paper work and rented the trailer attached it to my hitch but did not tighten it enough to the ball. After leaving the location the trailer came off the hitch while making a left turn onto a busy road and just before getting onto the interstate. I was able to pull off to the shoulder and fortunately no damage was done to the trailer or my SUV. I reattached and fully tightened it and had no further problems. Lubricating the knob threads that tighten the hitch would probably avoid this problem.Richard K.

This location is a storage facility. When i picked up my truck it was parked outside the gates and I just picked up the keys. When i dropped it off after hours a lady was nice enough to catch me and tell me that if the truck is parked outside of the gate, not in, that i will be charged 100 $extra. I had no code, but thankfully she let me in with hers. I also was not provided the 2 dollies I paid for.abby E.

1) Tried using the auto-pickup. Said to find the truck but the truck was behind a locked fence. Maybe I missed it but app didn't say how to get inside fenced area. Had to ask the person working. - turns out they had the key anyway so even if I got inside the fence I wouldn't of had the key. 2) THE AC DID NOT WORK on the truck. It was a long hot drive. Provide better instructions on returning a U-Haul. I returned the van last night after hours and found myself locked inside the storage area. I ended up needing to climb my way out. Other than that everything went just fine!Michael C.
There was garbage all over the truck's cab even though I was required to furnish 2 photos showing the truck was clean for the next user. Speaking of photos, the drop off was much worse than the pick up. The young lady at the desk was great and I was on my way in a few minutes. However, the tedious drop off after hours, including the multiple photos of the odometer, inside and outside of the truck and where it was parked took way too long. Plus, 0,79 per mile?? Did I mention the truck was filthy? I expected better.Phill C.
The movers you advertise and have as an option when booking a Uhaul are terrible. They were a no call no show and when we cancelled the mover called my husband to yell at him. He said he was sleeping when we placed the order. Why are they an option if they aren't readily available. He also sent an emoji of the middle finger. So unprofessional and disappointing. The customer service here is the worst! Needed to use the truck share option and they forgot to put the keys in the lock box or provide any information. On how to access it. Called Uhaul customer service and after waiting online for almost a half hour was told they couldn't help me. When I finally got the van--three hours later--it was filthy. Dog hair all over and a wet dog smell. Food wrappers...they left a two-wheel cart in the van which meant taking more time to return it because I needed the space it took up. No one ever apologized I was treated so rudely, like it was all my fault. Errors in billing OMG!! I will never reserve from this place again. What a nightmare.Judith J.
I used the smart phone app to check in, but that did not work very well for this location. First I got a code to enter the locked storage area, but then had no idea which truck was mine. Once I found a truck with the help of an assistant, I had to go walk back out through the locked gate to where the keys were kept and then follow the process to get a key, Then get another code to go back through the gate to go back to my truck and then to finally exit. It would've worked better if I could've got the key first and then go find the truck. Hope that makes senseBrian K.
I've rented a truck for 24hrs, 9am to 9am. I have returned the truck same day I rented it, dropped the keys in the lock box, but saw the online odometer check out notice too late. Called the place next morning at 9am and I was assured this is "fine". It was not fine, because I was charged for 48hr period, instead of 24hr. UHaul does not respond in their online chat system. I have tried calling them twice, to sort this out. The estimated wait time was "10 minutes". I waited for 40, before hanging up.Hristo Y.
Had 24/7. Got code opened box NO KEY. U-Haul Corp had to get me another truck. Was over charged for gas - I took photos! Before and after. Was charged 20 for over night service! Again. Self-check in was slow and cumbersome. Eventually had to get someone at the office to help and they needed a new credit card and a lot of information I already gave when making the reservation. Original pick up was supposed to be in a completely different city, 75+ miles away. Truck was difficult to drive (had to hold wheel at an angle the whole time for it to drive straight).Garrett H.
We purposefully chose a p/u location that was convenient and would be open at our arrival time (6pm). U-Haul changed the location to Towne Center Self Storage which was very inconvenient location wise and it was closed. We used the mobile p/u instructions, the gate code did not work, we called U-Haul but were just on hold. Luckily pressing the button for assistance on the key code pad alerted someone - a man showed up a few minutes later and reset the gate and got it open. Then we were in the gated area, with our truck, and the gate would not open again! Again, a man came and opened it but clearly there was some malfunction and U-Haul was absolutely no help. After that fiasco we realized U-Haul did not put the furniture pads we requesed in the truck, but of course there was nothing we could do because we weren't at a U-Haul provider, nor was there any staff available. VERY disappointed in this experience and will NEVER go with U-Haul again if we can avoid it.Gina L.

The van I got only had 1/4 of a tank of gas. I only drove it 20 miles but needed to get it back to a 3/4 tank before I returned it. This seems unfair seeing as I didn't use all of that gas.KELLEY B.

I panicked after I dropped the truck off because I was not able to check my phone until later that evening. I'd received a text saying to park the truck on the inside of the gate which I didn't realize that's what I needed to do. When we picked up the truck the only instruction given was where to drop the keys off. I'm glad things worked out ok in the end.Brenda F.

The lady at the desk was great and very helpful. What I had a problem with was the fact I was told I had a full tank of gas and It was not full and the vehicle that was given had no windshield wiper fluid period. Otherwise it was an Ok experience.Abiodun A.

The vehicle I requested was available and waiting, however the dolly and furniture cloths I requested were not. I did have to walk a ways on pretty slushy/icy paths to get to the van, and it did smell faintly of cigarette smoke. However, the van was clean and everything worked. The drop off process (online) was much more complicated than I anticipated. Overall it was an average experience. Not terrible, but not great.Angela W.
Dropped off the rig, handed over the key and was told I was good to go. Later found out I was charged an extra fee for leaving the gas tank low. When I picked up the Uhaul, it was between 5/8 and 1/2 tank. I was told to bring it back at that same level. I specifically filled the truck at a gas station less than a mile from the drop off location to the exact level I found the truck at. Yet I was still charged a fuel fee. Employee called and left a message at 4:59 on Friday, one minute before closing, to tell me none of the additional items were available. She called someone to help her when our reservation wasn't working and he wasn't even more unprofessional. Very uncomfortable. Will never go to this location again. The app was not user friendly for a first time rental. I followed it step by step and ended up being locked in the storage yard because I had not yet obtained the key and could not go back to find the gate passcode. I had to call customer service to get out. It took almost an hour to get the truck. Fortunately, your rep gave me the hour back so I could complete my move on time. I suggest the app have an overview of the entire process.James F.
I was given a gate code to get the van and by the time I brought the van back I couldn't find the slip of paper and I could not remember the gate code.
