My first contact with the lady that runs this location was not good. Another location sent her limited info on me because when I called a truck was not available. After a rocky start with her, and she was given all the info required to put me into the reservation system she was a lot more helpful and understanding. She did go above and beyond by researching for items she did not carry. My husband and I rented the truck to transport a scooter to our son in college. The truck she had for us was brand new, clean and had four moving blankets. I normally wouldn't use her location as I live a town over and we have a few locations in my own town that I have used in the past, but I would recommend her as she could have made the pickup unpleasant for us but she did turn the experience around from just mediocre to substantially better. Check in was easy, truck was ready with a full tank of gas! 👍🏻👍🏻

The kind lady at the desk was amazing and made the experience a pleasurable one. Upon returning the vehicle and equipment however was extremely painful and in the end was never fully accomplished due to the absolutely AWFUL application. Uhaul needs to spend a little money and get the application fixed. The idea is nice, but the execution sucks. I went through the full process of taking pics, answering questions 4 times and in the end it froze up on me to where I was unable to do anything. During each of the 4 times I went through the process, it seemed it would probably error out or get a new gps location and reset back to the beginning, erasing all I had done. I'm a software engineer and charge $95 an hour. Should Uhaul not have the expertise on their dev team to fix this, feel free to reach out to me at 239-246-8710. I feel comfortable that I would be able to resolve these issues. Otherwise please fix the problems in the application. The last time I moved, I used the app from an end to end perspective and said I would never use it again. It was such a clunky process and dealing with humans was way more efficient and pleasurable. Again, I love the idea and think you guys have something here, but whomever QA'd this application should be let go or trained properly as they clearly do not know how to perform their job.

I arrived before store hours and had difficulty from the beginning of the online site to access the truck. I then spent over an hour with three different rep's on the phone, being fully authenticated on a warm transfer, which having worked in several call centers I question, and it would have been much easier to wait until the store opened which was the direction they were taking me anyways. I have rented from u-haul many times in the past. NEVER AGAIN!!

The door to the back of the truck was very stiff and hard to close. When you unlatched it and let the door go up on its own, it slid up so far it was also hard to close.

I reserved on line a pick up truck on Friday May 22, 2020 which was available. When I arrived the manager said the pick up had a flat tire and was not available. She made it would like the tire had been flat for a while, said the last renter ran over a nail. Also said she never saw the reservation the day before. Said "he" had changed the tire so I was kind of confused. Offered a 10' truck so I took it. The truck windshield was so dirty I could barely see out of it. Windshield wipers were old and did not clean the windshield at all. They dragged across the windshield. The driver's side door leaked. We encounter a thunderstorm and the diver got soaked. Not one of my better experience renting from U Haul. Manager stated the storage business was their main source of income and they were not a U Haul dealer. They have U Haul trucks on property and the public's perception is they are U Haul dealer. It was said in such a way that it implied the truck rental business was of no importance and not their responsibility to maintain the trucks in good running order.

The app process was a hassle. Standing in the rain to take 100 picture. May be easier for U-Haul but I found it annoying. Waiting for photos to download etc.

Online checkin sucks. Takes many calls and transfers between customer service. The actual location is great though, and have used multiple times with zero complaints when dealing with someone there. Always very nice and helpful. The online check in and return however is another thing all together.

During pickup and drop off the computer systems were down, and no one seemed to have any clue what was going on. Surprisingly my charges ended up being correct considering most of the information had to be written on a piece of paper. Not a great feeling to be told that they may not be able to rent a truck to you because of the computers. Especially when a truck is needed to move to a new house.

I saw atleast half a dozen brown spiders inside the truck I rented. I was bite by one of the brown spiders and had to go to the hospital. I believe I should get a full refund. Im a combat veteran, I believe I should be given a full refund. I didn't even use the truck because the spiders, I only drove 33 miles with the truck. Horrible experience.

We didn't have a reservation, but stopped by looking for a truck rental. Debra was absolutely wonderful in helping us out quickly & in a very friendly manner. Our office is only a mile or so down the road from this location, and if we ever need a truck rental again, we will certainly come back to this location.

The Uhaul attendant/assistant was abrupt and timid when interacting with me as a customer. Maybe they were having a bad day. I work customer service and have rented many times and this experience would be the worst.

We have rented a truck from your location for the last 6 years in connection with our annual Food Pantry food collection drive. We have always been very pleased with your service. However, this year we had some issues with the woman in charge of your office. When we picked up the truck she had some difficulty getting us set up in the computer and presenting an estimated contract; she blamed it on the fact that we came in earlier (approximately 1 hour earlier) than we originally said we would pick up the truck. She said it was our fault for coming in earlier, which we don't understand why this would be such a big problem (bad attitude). Also, when we dropped off the truck, she had an issue regarding the amount of gas we replaced in the gas tank; I had replaced the gas to 1/4 of the tank, which was the exact level when we picked it up which is shown on our contract. Her contention was that the needle, while it was resting on the 1/4 of a tank line, was slightly towards the lower side of that line. I told her the needle was clearly on the 1/4 tank line and in the same position as it was when I picked up the truck. She finally agreed it was OK, but I question why she needed to so argumentative; again, it was our fault. This isn't the attitude I would expect from a company's representative.

When reserving a uhaul online. Make it more clear of the mandatory drop off time before an additional charge will be set. The drop off time on my reservation only showed a date without a time. I thought I had to just return the truck on that date but was charged an extra day for going over the drop off time I had no idea about. Also employee I spoke to reference this at the Trinity towers uhaul location was rude. Dropping off the truck at this location was a hassle due to having to find a spot along the dirt road and walk far back to the main building.

The uhaul i received reeked of marijuana, it was honestly disgusting. Now thanks to this i had to get rid of a couch because the odor moved from the truck to the couch during moving. Called the placed i rented the uhaul from and never got a call back. Wont be using their services or uhaul services again in the future. Super disappointing.
