Staff was very rude

Kayla TThe gas gauge didn’t move when putting gas in so I could make sure I had the correct amount back in. Then it jumped at once and I put in a lot more gas than was needed.
Cori HSelf pick up was a nightmare! I was hung up on twice and they did not help at all. I believe there was something wrong with the uhaul server and caused the issues. It took one hour to get the truck. The people I spoke with were not very knowledgeable, other than that everything went well.

Jason KAfter I told the worker that he put the wrong drop off address on our contract he told us we could drop off the equipment at any store. Before dropping off I thought I should contact the store that was closest to us which was in Bonita Springs and they do not accept trailers.

Nathan MHow in the world did I go from a rate of $19,95 to $132,06? That is the most ridiculous case of false advertising that I ever seen! A $25 cleaning fee? I hauled a sofa, nothing else, just a sofa. What got dirty? I will never use U-haul again and I will do my best to make sure my friends and family don't either. It this isn't criminal, it should be. Never again. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Dan fThe staff at this location is always Head and Shoulders above all others. The woman at the counter, Missy is always welcoming engaging informative and efficient. The gentleman on the back end is always very knowledgeable about what I'm renting and always more than helpful. This store is a thing Beacon of the rental industry.

JAMES BThe app needs a ton of improvement. The entire rental system kept glitching and I had to restart my pickup process multiple times. To save time I was trying to pick up my rental without going in to the store. I had to go into the store anyway. My photos wouldn't upload, I couldn't move onto the next steps of the process, it took me 30+ minutes to pick it up, and around 15 to drop it off. It wasted more time than just going in to rent. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the rental place it was clean and organized, and the employee was easy to talk to.

Peter SI rented a truck that remained safely parked for majority of the time as I had little help moving. I made two trips to my new place, upon returning it, they accused me of damaging the passenger side. I and two others seen that very damage when I parked it after initially getting the truck. Therefore the damage was already there before me. They refused to give the deposit back, that's how they manage to keep customers money. I would never recommend this location to anyone.

Ronda SI do not know why I was charged a cleaning fee. I swept the back of the truck out as they asked. I feel like it was another way to nickle and dime me. Company makes more money. Not happy about that.
david jThe cab was dirty, the cup holders, the door compartments, the driver side door had something spilled down the inside, the floor had debris, the driver side visor is broken, so it hangs down, the dash board was very dusty, there were stains on the ceiling. I paid just over $200 to rent this and had to clean it so I didn't get hit with a cleaning fee, I have photos

Yousif IIt wasn't True Value Rental's fault, but when I called U-Haul to reserve a truck 2 weeks prior, I made it clear I needed the 26 foot truck, who ever I was dealing with said I would have it and when I went to pick up the truck it was smaller than what we needed forcing us to make more trips and having to rent something else to accommodate what we had to move. Anyways, your call center people shouldn't say one thing and do another. Because most people would get mad at the True Value Rental people when it was actually your call center saying I would have a certain truck and instead putting me down for a smaller truck and not telling me. Not happy about that at all!!! But to the people of the True Value Rental, thanks for being so easy to work with and always going above and beyond for Bay City Academy!!!

joseph wI Love this location, I have been to many uhual stores over the years and this specific location is hands down the best. The staff is courteous, honest and also works hard to make sure you understand everything. They are also a pleasure to deal with and I always leave with a smile on my face.
PAUL mThe app for checkout was awful. I also managed to fill the gas tank more than what was asked and then was slapped with a cleaning fee when I can bet that whatever sweeping done was fairly minimum. It was 2:00AM at the time we returned it. It wasn't like we could exactly see and the lighting inside the truck was all that great.
