The team in Los Angeles who dropped off the U-Box containers was very helpful and great getting us set up. The staff at the Logan Square U-Haul in Chicago were all incredibly helpful and made our unloading as easy as possible. Overall a great experience.

Jonathan FI have to say I am so beyond impressed from start to finish. The customer service from the start couldn't be sweeter. Along the way, so helpful. The dates I was given for arrival, etc. were exactly as said. To be honest, I did not pack my large mirrors properly and they made it in perfect condition (that was my only concern). Even when they arrived to the final destination the employees who called me and picked up the boxes were absolute sweethearts. Thank you so much for such a pleasant experience. Moving is never easy and you guys definitely made the experience great.
Jade HThis has been the worst move I have had. I was a loyal Uhaul customer until now. I will not be using Uhaul for any needs (moving, storage, equipment - nothing) in the future. We went with Uhaul Uboxes because we had a pretty good experience 2 years ago when we moved across the country - but not this time as we moved back across the country. First lets start with the day before our move the reservation for our Uboxes was missing from the app - checked on a website browser - also missing. Panicking I called the customer service and they said that happens sometimes. The next day our movers (purchased through movinghelp! were 5 hours late. This is partially their fault but also Uhaul's. I booked the Uboxes over the phone the representative chose the location that is 20 min away from my house (there were closer Uhauls with Uboxes) I lived in LOS ANGELES 20 minutes is 1 hour traffic that the movers had to go back and forth. They were so late that they had to move in the dark and come back for the 3rd Ubox the next day. They were late again the next day and when I would call the location the lady working on the phone was rude each time I called to check in. Out of sight out of mind the uboxes were at the warehouse and we were on our way to drive across the country. The next day I get a call from the Uhaul location. I missed the call so I called back. They had no idea why someone called but would get back to me (they never did). I then checked the app and yet again! Our Uboxes were missing on the account. I had to chat with customer service again to make sure that everything was okay. It is very unsettling when you see that you do not have a reservation anymore and Uhaul has literally EVERYTHING that you own. The reassured me that they had the boxes and that they were shipped. Your app and website need help!! I work in marketing / website design and let me tell you this is the worst part of your business. You pride in saying to log on to the app when calling customer service - yet your app needs refreshed our logged out of each time to check any status! Don't promote something that doesnt work - that is marketing 101. Your customer service representatives are very nice and kind people but they have all told me different things on how to book, how to reserve, etc. Also WHYYY would they choose a Uhaul location that is not the closest to my house. The poor movers who granted were not the best still had to drive and sit in traffic for hours! I used Uhaul /Uboxes for my last move to Los Angeles and they used a location right down the street. You've lost my business and I would never recommend anyone to use Uhaul to move solely based on the experience and to do anything you need to use your app and website without sitting on the phone and waiting. Oh one last thing the furniture pads given to us were WET - which for a container being stored for 6 weeks could cause mold. We did not have enough to do use. There were only a few dry ones.
kali KThe Manager Kyle was helpful & responsive and is a good overall representative for Uhaul. However, a few staff members were not very helpful and presented slight attitude. **Not related to Los Angeles Store Central** Telephone service when calling Uhaul's 800 number is horrendous and shameful the way calls are are just irresponsibly transferred and routed with no end or reason. A very discouraging waste of time!!! This must be effectively dealt with or Uhaul will deter new customers and run off existing ones.
Charla CFurniture pads were never used and unopened. Two U boxes were half full only requiring the use of 2 but charged for 3. Funiture was not placed with care and items were severely damaged or destroyed.

MICHAEL MThe delivery man was amazing. Seriously the best communicator, so helpful, and very kind! The only weird thing about the delivery (not his fault) was that whoever stored my box at Uhaul nailed it shut so my dad had to use his Swiss Army knife to unscrew the bolts they put in. That was frustrating and they should have taken those off before getting it delivered. Otherwise, this service is amazing and I'm very appreciative!

Susan TEveryone at Uhaul, from all the phone support to every driver, were absolutely outstanding. The best moving experience I have ever enjoyed. No problems, no delays, no complications. The only thing that I suggest is to immediately remove all the plywood pods from service and convert to the steel and fiberglass style. Rain protection is important, as is the physical integrity and lock security of the container. I received one plywood pod by mistake, and it was wrecked in several ways from past trips and damage and neglected repairs. That was easily corrected by replacement of the pod, but it did slow down my progress for a few days. No harm done, the truck drivers were all so very helpful. Thank you for everything, -Sal

Starina JThe staff was friendly and courteous but I only needed 1 of the two containers--after left the full container for storage they called me and said one container would be over $3000 so just to keep it at 2 containers for about $2000. It should have been about $1000. They gave me a number to call to try and fix. After I called and explained---took awhlle as she could not correct on her end--she transfered me to the los angeles division--after another long hold I explained everything again and she says "sorry this is orange county let me transter you to los angeles" so I waited for someone to pick-up for 20 minutes and just hung-up. SO FRUSTRATING after a stressfull move. I just emailed later and they corrected the issue. Also, was suppose to have 20 pads but only received 12 -- 2 packs of 6. To be fair much of this problem is not due to the location but that is where it initially occurred.

Jim LUboc had wrong numbers on it and I spent hours trying to correct the issue. I also had two different contracts and was double charged for the same thing.
Kristol WEverything was on time, arrived in Denver ok. The only thing I would say is to maintain the boxes better. My box was coming apart a little on the bottom/side of the door hinge. This created a non-squared door, and some massive effort to close and open the latch. (I had to keep closing the latch and lock it for each trip, based on the location.) Other than this, I appreciate the cost, the customer service, etc. Just a maintenance issue really, and it all worked out in the end. Merci.

Victoria, who was the U-Box customer care representative, was very accommodating to my unique needs. She was very patient and kind throughout the whole process, from drop-off to pick-up. She also was a very good communicator and responsive during my move. She exceeded my service expectations, and I was grateful to have had the opportunity to work with her. Overall, the customer service, from scheduling the drop-off/pick-up times to follow-ups, was excellent. They have always been responsive and helpful with my needs, and I felt I could count on them. This was my second time using U-Box service and I had great experiences with both time. I would highly recommend the service to others.
Anna IU-Haul was a terrible experience. Moving is hard enough. What ever practices or ways the company is running is not good. They lost my box. Lied about when it would arrive. Lied about where the box was. Rushed me to empty my box within 24 hours. Left the box for almost a month after several calls to request them to pick it up. I was charged a monthly fee because it was never picked up. I spent more time on the phone with U-Haul than ever have with any company. Will absolutely NOT recommend this company until they get there system together. It's 2023, business should not be run like this.

His negligence cost me time and money and in addition to this he lied instead of correcting the error. Unless my issue is resolved I will NEVER use uhaul again and will voice my experience to anyone considering your services.

Ali MLocation is crowded and difficult to access due to surrounding businesses and traffic. I made an appointment for self pick up of my ubox from storage and it was not ready for pick up. It had to be retrieved from storage. Fortunately the location was not busy when I arrived so the employees were able to retrieve it.

Elizabeth SNo one called me the day before to talk about when the ubox would be delivered. I tried to call days earlier to schedule and U-Haul said they were unable to schedule a time until the day prior. While driving 14 hours to my new home I spent nearly all day literally 9am-4pm and (kept call log to prove it)trying to get a call back from U-Haul and wasn't able until they finally called me at 5 and told me the only times available were in the late morning. Also the movers are a third party company and I was unable to contact them until the next morning by that point and explain I was still driving up there. I got a $200 hotel for the night trying to get some rest before I got to my new place and only got to stay there for 4 hours as I had to leave at 5 am to make it on time to my new apartment. Waste of money, would of gotten a cheaper option.
Sloane BI never used the location for the survey I am being sent. I used the moving service and 2 boxes to move from Florida to San Diego, California. The service was fantastic! I am very happy about using it. The website and co-ordination afterwards has been somewhat confusing and difficult. I spent an hour on the phone yesterday to clear up an issue from my service when I used it at the beginning of June, (2 months ago)
Bruce RHave better communication with the customers. The website stated we had until a certain day to access the U-Box contaniers. We were not told that we had to reserve the U-Box after we loaded them on the first day. Stick to what the U-Box website says when people book them. If I had not checked my email, at the time I did, our belonging would've been shipped off the next day. Next, when the money for the U-Box shipment was placed on hold, take then. My husband's bank card was placed on fraudulent risk because U-Haul kept trying to take a payment from his card when that money was placed on pending when we made the first payment of $252. This caused a huge issue with his bank because U-haul already had the amount $1 664 as pending. Lastly, do not lie to customer by saying that your representatives tried to the customer when they never did. Honor the times and days stated of when the customer's containers will be delivered. We will not be using U-Boxes again. On another note, renting the moving trucks are always a breeze!

PODS wanted $6 000 for a 1 box move from CA to MI. Uhaul did it for $2,000. Great experience with Uhaul all around. Highly recomend!!!!

There seemed to be no urgency around getting this fixed making me have to call multiple lines to make sure my move could go forward. Even though I had Uhaul put a note in the system that I agreed AND I called the pickup location in Brookly they still gave our movers a hard time about it. please fix this for clients as it is uneccessarily stressful and no one was really that helpful.
