It was clean and looked well maintained, the Cargo is not a suitable driving option for an 84 year old man, who had not driven in more than 20+ years. When a friend of a friend hired me to clean his home, to which had probably not been cleaned in 20+ years as well as his license had not been renewed, being newly single, re-registered for school, yet, almost an entire month before I was to start back, I took the job. I thought, it would be a good thing to do for someone, as the man was elderly, and truly looked like he needed my help, he really did need help....and I needed to make sure that I was'nt going to be followed by my ex, as there were severe physically abusive issues to which I left with the clothes on my back, and new that I had plenty of time for things to die down, and he would never check somewhere that I didnt even know that I was going at the time. When I met the friend of the friend, the first thing I wanted to do was call "Horders", I spoke to him about the TV Hit Show, and explained to him that they help people and he really needed the help, that I was going to try to get as much done as possible, yet, he didnt even have running water in his home, and had to turn it off and on, an 84 year old man should have running water, and the ability to take care of himself in his own home, being that he was still mobile....walking, talking and able to make decisions for himself, and take care of cats.....yet, once my new friend began to come out more and more, more began to reveal the more I cleaned. He said that he didnt want Horders involved, so I respected his decision. I moved so much, there was a refrigerator that had been full of magets and other parisites, unplugged for years, I removed it by myself...along with several heavy and very rotten and molded material, trash up to my knees, feces on the floor, rotten, soiled clothes, clothing that had not been washed in years, and him desperately needing a home cooked meal, and a space to cook for himself. I spoiled him. Immedietely I cleared his main living space, I filled all the water jugs, made a continuous ability to pour water for bathing and cooking purposes with clean water and made it to where he could finally walk around in his own home, to which the 84 year old man, only had about a 2ft by 2ft space to where he could only stand up, with a trail to the front door, and to his room, and a trail to the little spot on the counter where he fed some 8 or 9 cats, to which were in and out of the house....to which, was rat infested...with feces. I felt so sorry for him. The 84 year old man suggested that we sell the things that I was removing from the home that were worth money, such as scraps, he also suggested that there was already scraps in the yard that were made into a pile over the years when he was healthier and more mobile. Not to be fecicious or to exploit him, I recorded myself and my day to day progress with the elderly man, for many reasons,.not to mention, my portfolio. As I progressed the re-eatablishmet of his home, he progressed in his self-esteem and wanted to do more. I finally had a good routine that he wanted to be on, everything was right there able and convenient to use, his little refrigerator was the last of the items to be thoughroughly cleaned, to which, was also severely decontaminated, really, had I realized that, it would have been the first thing, yet it was all of the appliances that were non working and inplugged full of groceries and pots and pans that were cooked in and never cleaned that smelled the house to be condemned, and had any official ever been in that home, it would have been and he would have possible been placed in a home, regardless of the show that he put on, the man, really had me beside myself, though I told him that I would be able to come and help him out a couple of nights a week, that I could not permanently help him on a permanent basis. I even helped him pay a couple of his bills to which his account was overdrafted. My elderly friend confided in me that he wanted to get out and about with his life again, that he felt good about life again, and that he wanted to be more independant and felt that he was headed in the right direction, that he was excited about getting his licensed renewed, and at that time he had me show him how to make the appointment, so we did. We also made several much needed doctors appointments to which he had neglected, I made contact with some private handyman able reliables that would help and assist with getting his plumbing issues, rat infestations, and electrical fire hazards remedied for very low cost, along with a good recommendation for their own portfolio and good reference and to probably monotize or make some type of home video to which they could advertise their own businesses as to the good work and volunteerism that they do, for their webpage and recommendation and to send the message to elders.that there are good people out here in this world that are more than just money hungry shade trees, that know that service exceeds the dollar amount, it really is about giving more than just a f#$@, there are people that do give and know how to benefit from getting that alone out there. Doing a good service for someone who needs it, meets the needs of the people who performs services like this with good intentions. So there we were, getting things done...we made the appointments, and didnt really intend on renting the Uhaul until last minute, as I also knew some people as he did, that would have been able to remove the miscellaneous debris as I had removed what was contaminating the house on the inside, the outside was just horrible, looked as horrible as the inside did, it was disgusting, mind you, I did all the work, by myself and alone, day in and out ,I was so tired, but I felt good about what I was doing, not to mention,.helping him was keeping my mind off of the decision I made to leave the abusive relationship I had been in for almost 8 years. A little bit here and there I was able to get something to wear, the elderly man, after about a week or a little more of me working almost around the clock, bought me a brand new outfit and some shoes, I got him to buy himself a new outfit as well, as he needed something clean to wear, and had nothing of his clothes his size, as he had lost wieght and gained weight.When I began rearranging the elderly mans electronics and making him a space for him to learn how to use the computer, I realized that some of my belongings were already in the house. I remembered that I had brought some of my things and left them there for safe keeping so that my abusive boyfriend didnt destroy them, the friend of the friend, remembered as well, and I had remembered that I had a couple of years earlier with so much going on, met the elderly man at that time, I had been severly beaten up, and didnt realize that I had met him. I also realized upon getting all of the elderly mans electronics straight that he was not aware that we were both being watched, and that he was aware that he himself was watching me and that I was also watching out for myself, which wasnt a problem for anyone, but the person or people watching us that figured out that I figured out that the elderly man had been being watched for some time, and it wasnt any of my stuff that was watching him. That didnt bother us either, in fact, I was like, this could help....me being the person thag I am, was like gung go....a little bit, so, I encouraged my elderly friend to become more show stopping worthy, as he was quite the character already, and what do you know it brought visitors! Little did I know that when I suggested this in his new clean place, still no where near where it was going to be, people began to come by and what do you know, they turned everything around on me....for show....no. They tried to tell the elderly man that I was using him, one of his drivers came to take him to a doctors appointment, and literally busted into the elderly mans house, a yellow cab driver and almost physically attacked me. As more of a credible relationshionship and teusted friendship began to bond and came to be, the more I did for the elderly man, the more began to reveal itself. The man asked me to go to the bank with him. I was going to open my own account, as I admit, I do gamble online and in such places, to which I am very good at. My accounts have all been hacked and I have been stolen from, we agreed upon testing this, that I would pay the elderly man a percentage of my earnings if he would put some of the accounts in his name to which I would fund. So, I opened my own account, and we proceeded to look for what the elderly man had questions and had found to which, I also said, there are red flags, though we both agreed that not jumping the gun and to wait for what was to come to tell on itself, I reapected the elderly mans decisions, decided that this was going on before I came along, agreed that I had been honest and would continue to be, and respected the elderly mans decisions to not say anything though I really was skeptical about my gambling winnings going into his account, I didnt know wether or not the chance I was taking would be or make any difference. Thats when things got really strange. So we decided to rent a car after the elderly mans license was renewed, we proceeded to the airport, the airport was out of rentals, the elderly man really wanted to brush up on his driving abilities, to which, I did not think that renting a uhaul was the best idea for that, yet, really knew at that point that I was going to be the one removing all of the debris from the yard that I had removed from his contaminated house, was not his contaminated yard and had blocked the entrance to his house to make a safe way in and out, it was very hard to get in and out and with him being elderly, it was definetely a safety hazard. Time was nearing for me to get ready to move back into the home that I lived in for 18 years prior to the 8 year relationship that I had been in and just walked away from, so, I filled out the reservation for the elderly man to rent a uhaul and just decided that, I would move the debris myself in the uhaul. I searched my stregnth and got some ground about myself, I really dont know how I didnt fall put thus far and just fall apart, not just for myself and my own situation, but for his too..i thought for the people watching, for them too, watching this man alone like he was, like he is, and how much he had come alive, is really alot of emotions from and to, I cant imagine having watched him this whole time and what a person would be feeling having not known how to help him and just wanting to make sure that he was safe and look out for him...after figuring some of that out and being hopeful to that, I thought, well, lets make it happen captain.....and I said to the man upstairs, im going to need some major more stregnth than I somehow already have......We headed to the Uhaul Rental Dealer, W.Tennessee Street , Tallahassee Florida, and the process was extremely easy, and the experience and sevice was well progressed and the value of the service was excellent! The elderly man wanted to put me on the service plan, and make me a trusted holder on the rental, I reminded him that I do not have a valid Florida license, that I have an Arizona license, to which needed to be nenewed, it wasnt suspended, however, I had not renewed it. The rental associate, stated that, I couldnt be put on the application or the provided list of applicable drivers, but that I could be on the account itself as a listed person to call for any purposes where the account itself was needed as far as payment and information or any circumstances or changes, and contact needs. I was immedietely handed the keys, at the uhaul rental establishment, I went to the uhaual cargo rental and picked the elderly man up on the lot with the uhaul rental at the front door of the uhaul rental lot, and I proceeded to drive, to the elderly mans house where I parked the uhaul. I had discussed with the elderly man that before I start loading all of the debris into the uhaul, that since he wasnt able to pay me, that maybe he could take me to see my family, I had not seen them in some time, actually, a very long time, and that it wasnt that far, and I would ne so grateful, that if he wanted to do something for me, that, that was what would really help me. He agreed. So, we got ready and we drove to see my family, it had gotten late, so we were not able to spend much time as it was dark, but my family was excited to see me and to know that I was okay as they had not seen me in some time, they were excited that I was proceeding with the plans that I had made and were optimistic about the future. We then went back to the elderly mans home, I had driven from the rental lot to the elderly mans home and from the elderly mans home to my families home in Thomasville, GA, with the elderly man in the passenger seat and back to the elderly mans home, where I worked the whole night through some more. Around 6am, I slept for a couple of hours, and got up, made coffee and breakfast, and proceeded to load the Uhaul. I noticed that the Uhaul had a tow thing on the inside, and thought, well, it must be me, I guess I just am missing something, im a girl, even though I am mechanically savier than most chicks, I admitted that maybe, Im just not looking in the right place or working it right, that maybe the issue with it actually not being there, was that I just didnt know how to locate it on that paricular vehicle....so, I did what any optimist would do, and really just ready for things to look as hard as I had worked as messes move from one place to the next until everything is sorted through and organezed and gone back through and put in its final place and a good clean thourough is put on the final touches, this step, was much needed in order to keep going..the elderly man was eager to drive, and he wanted to haul the scrap once it was loaded, so, I loaded the biggest stuff first, as it was in the way, I did this without the tow because I couldnt figure out how to use it, and time was of the essence, I couldnt find anyone until the later hours to come look at the issue I was having, and later would find out, that, I was'nt wrong about the tow adjustment, that, it really wasnt there. So, I used some twine and rope to tie around the bulky very full refrigerator and stove and other heavy very outdated and scraped debris to be taken to the scrap yard, which wasnt that far. I had make several intervals and strides to get the debris close to the road and to a flat surface and had an extremenly dipped ditch to pull through the wooded yard to the edge of the ditch, down the ditch and up to the flat gravel to which the road was very narrow and I had to move fast because if traffic purposes. I made the necessary strategized attemps and after a few times of trying, I finally was able to get the debris leveled up to the side door of the cargo uhaul to where I could push the debris up on the step and get the debris into the uhaul, I was proud of myself as well as a little surprised as was the elderly man a little surprised, I felt like we accomplished something, and surprised as we both were, we were both very relieved even though it had gotten too late to take the debris to the scrap yard where he wanted to take the scraps and removed debris. The elderly man called to extend the rental, he and the uhaul rental extended the uhaul rental for thee days. The elderly man, the next day, got up with coffee and breakfast as I made every morning since I was helping him, and we agreed that the debris in the uhaul needed to be dumped however, it was a weekend and after hours, so he and i decided that practicing and refreshing his driving skills would be a good idea. I was reluctant to do this on the very busy highway that the elderly man lives just inside of, but to get somewhere that was open to get down the way the vehicle being that of its size works and flictuates and turns and how to use the gas and the brakes, we had to get on the busy road, so I suggested to see how well he drives, that he was much older and wiser and i didnt want to discourage his ability to drive, I said okay, so the elderly man, began with me in the passenger seat....seat belts, and I thought, something must be wrong with the uhaul because, it was literally jolting, it was kind of taking off and then he would have to hit the brakes really fast. When I asked him to turn into the shopping center a few blocks from his home address, that I didnt feel comfortable being that it was nearing dark to be on the road with the way that things were going, he really was in agreeance that the driving recap wasnt going over so well and that we needed to turn around. Without diminishing the elderly mans manhood, I think he wanted more than willingly for me to take back over the wheel, being that I was unlicensed, I politely declined, in fear that someone had called the authorities due to the elderly mans ability to drive being that I knew we had viewers unknown, I figured someone was sure to call and report the estranged driving, as it was definetely not safe. So, we made it back to the road that the elderly man lived to his neighborhood, it was around dark by this time, as we did take our time throughout the day, needing to relax. Little did either of us know that when we would be pulling back into the elderly mans driveway, that there would be a vehicle in the driveway, as someone had just towed a junk vehicle from the elderly mans driveway, just the day prior to. So boom, being that the vehicle needed to be towed that was sitting there, sore, and tired and trying to establish things in the dark with not much light, we all decided that we would come to a better solution the next day as far as to make a claim or just handle things outside of making a report. The next day, we all decided that we were sore and that maybe getting checked out would be a good idea, the elderly man made an appointment with his physician, the driver of the other vehicle and i went to the emergency room, i decided not to be seen, because, i really was just ready to get the rest of the moving done and because the elderly man had extended the rental, there was an opportunity to make some extra cash being that there was the scraping initiative and I thought, maybe it wouldnt be an inconvenience to go and get my car, that way i would have transportation and it would also be a better vehicle for the elderly man to drive rather than renting a vehicle, i would help him out a couple of days out of the week and he could drive my car with me in it, to run his errands and go the places he needed to go, we discussed putting the tag in his name and splitting the insurance and getting it legal...on fact we dicussed several transportation options that would be sufficient, efficient, and reliable, including buying a high powered passenger scooter, and splitting the costs, however there were over 100 boxes and I really wasnt sure if with all of the repairs and the work that still needed to be done on the inside of the house if that was a smart move. There was still alot of work that needed to be done. Thought there was alot more room in the home, putting a work station in there with so many boxes of parts probably would have added alot of stress that had just been lifted, there was a literal feeling of stress relief itself, so, with permission, I inquired about my car, though I didnt get it, and wasnt able to bring it to the elderly mans home, it was a good thing because, I hadnt remembered the towing ammenity wasnt established in working order or even there, so we towed the vehicle that had been hit in the driveway, the old school way and then dropped the load of debris at the scrap yard. I called tripple AAA at some point during the clean up of the yard after the commotion having been ready to take the elderly man to a doctors appointment he would have been on time to, he wanted to extend the rental again, and I did not want to, I was ready for the uhaul ordeal to be over with and felt like something was not right, I suggested to the elderly man that we would find a way to get to and from and to not be discouraged that he had people before he knew me that would transport him, I really didnt want to drive the uhaul on any other basis, as far as cleaning up what needed to be cleaned up and removed and there was still another legnth to go before would absolutely have to do that again...i was down to days before I had to start school, so, i went to spend a night away from the house where I had called tripple AAA to pick up the uhaul, to try and keep from the elderly man getting in any trouble or me getting in any trouble, I was just helping, and the situation had me at that point really skeptical and so, I thought it would be best that the uhaul go back to uhaul and I tried to get it there. In the midst of trying to get it there, the elderly man had began a relationship with a guy that was a friend lf the same friend that is now the guy that im seeing, he gave him permission to use the uhaul in the extra days he had extended, so, the, at the time, friend was driving to drop off the uhaul, when the uhaul ran out of gas, we had decided to take the uhaul to the uhaul drop it off we were coming from the elderly mans home after discussing it with him, i dropped some things off there worth keeping, not realizing that I had kept on my posession the whole time, a suitcase full of the journals that I had written over the years to which I write in lyrics, sometimes more than none just to that may and are of value for a later date, right now my main focus is a solid foundation and a career to come home to just in case and in case i ever want to not do what really is and can be more than just a dream, i have always had a plan to do things refarding my music step by step and be a part of the entire picture the way i write it, Cosmetology, is the way to do it. Because, its so much more than just my music that I do that really my music goes to, and that is entertainment as a whole, the whole industry, fashion, art, music, and books, marketing, the entire making, the big picture, so these things in this suicase are extremely original and irreplacable and people knew that other than myself, there has been quite the hype in the area reagarding my music lyrics among other things pertaining to my career and who i am to some people, and there have been problems in regards to....so it dawned on me, that something wasnt quite right.....right across from the uhaul drop off the uhaul ran out of gas, so my friend, who was also a friend of the friend and they were friends and I was friends now with the friends of the friend, went to get gas, i didnt go because I was having stomach issues, and couldn't walk, I was in the back the back of the uhaul having layed down when I opened my eyes and heard loud banging and an intercom, I thought I had heard someone through a speaker, I saw that there were police lights flashing wverything happened so fast that by the time i opened my eyes, realized that I did hear the police on a loud speaker and by that time the door was being busted through with shields, guns and police telling me to put my hands where they could see, I know I didnt look well, on top of working myself past what I even thought I could, not realizing how stressed I was to work that hard, I had school the next day, I hadnt even moved myself back in my own house and gotten myself situated for school or situated back at the home I had left over 8 years ago, I had'nt gotten the lights turned back on yet, there was still so much that I needed to do to get my priorities taken care of to be dealing with this..i asked the authorities what the problem problem was and explained to them as I had two hospital bracelets on my wrist that I had been to the hospital earlier that day, and was headed to the hospital as soon as we dropped the uhaul off across the street at the uhaul drop off but before I could get any of that out, one of the officers was saying that someone had called a bolo on the uhaul, that someone called and said that they saw the uhaul and thats why they were there. I went on to tell them that they could call the man that rented the uhaul and told them that I had a letter with permission to be on the uhaul and that I had driven the uhaul off of the lot from the uhaul rental lot the day it was rented, they were not really letting me talk to them, they were yelling and interrupting each other, but from what I gathered, from them saying that there was a bolo on a uhaul, and then the female officer or one of the female officers stated on another uhaul, I felt like they had already determined that this was not the uhaul in question, and that once they ran my name, they would make something out of it that wasnt....in fact they did, however, by the time I had been body slammed so hard that I still cant see to the ability that my vision was able prior to the horrible experience, I didnt resist the officers, I told them that I was pregnant and like i said showed them the hospital bracelets as proof that I wasnt well, my buttons on my shorts were undone because my stomach was bloated and even though the shortd were loose on me, i had them that way because if the fact that i was bloated and my stomach was hurting, my whole pelvic area was a mess..when the authorities started telling me to put my hands out in front of me and step down, which, while and in between theor interogating me and mentioning from the questions I asked them back from what I had already gathered and what I knew of how frivelous they are, I had told them that I dont mind putting my hands out or doing coming out of the uhaul, I was standing on the edge and because there was a sidewalk and a curb there, it would have been abput a foot maybe more drop down to the sidewalk, I told them that I need to button my shorts so they dont fall off, that, I was waiting for the gas and had fallen asleep, i went to button my shorts when one of the officers snatched me by my arm, put me up over his head and spun me to gain more speed and impact and plowed me into the hard ground, I couldnt move, i knew I was further injured not just sore from moving, but really severely injured, they illegally began to try and move me, to which you are not ever supposed to do with a pissible neck or back injury from any position they had me hog tied, with the handcuffs cuffed so tight around my wrists, even with me having told them I was pregnant and having symptoms of possible pre-natal issues or pre-term labor, I was due April 14, of 2026, to which I can prove wether or not had muscarried and gotten pregnant again or not, which is a whole nother story you all might be interested in hearing in itself and worth hearing and seeing for yourselves on camera...to which I will be uploading at a later date, both instances, of really sad, really eye opening, really disturbing behavior via the truted authoritive behaviors that should not be trusted with all of the freedom we gove them plus the perks to not uphold us in justice, all they are doing is taking their authority to heights we cant reach....really its too much, so, the ambulance arrived, they picked me up by the handcuffs and my feet and put me on the gurny, it wasnt so much being that I couldnt move my very broken body, my very startled and scared frame of mind, they wouldnt let me answer the paremedics questions, and the female officer who was messing with my wig, picking dirt and whatever was in ot that seemed to get her picking at it, she then ripped ot off of my head completely and patted me on the head as if i were a child or something then grabbed the belts that were on the gurney and literally wrapped them around my chest like almost ten times, she even grabbed more gurny straps and wrapped those around me to, like a steaight jacket chair or something, very degrating, and when I asked before they put me in the ambulance what I was being charged with, now mind you, this is all on video, every bit of it, from before they even pulled up....the officer that slammed me, said , resisting an officer without violence, its a misdemeanor. The next day, I found out that I was charged with Grand Theft of Motor Vehicle. I sat in jail for 6 months before they wanted to extend my trial date even though my attorney assured me that she could win trial, the states attorney had a personal vendetta to what I could gather from the persona she used with the situation. They really did'nt and still don't have a leg or legs period to stand on, they refused evidence right off the rip, as to the letter that was written by the elderly man, and admittedly written by him as to what he was going to and had already admitted over the phone, to the lawyer and was to admit at the trial, when they wanted to extend the trial date to another date, they offered me 6 months with time served, I knew that I still have a case, in fact a very good case to the facts that were never able to be heard in court and I would be able to have them heard regardless of there was that trial or not, and that they could feel stupid later on and get the citizens repremands and greivances when all of this comes out....the things that you can't replace is what this is so about and more than that, is what the situation looked like upon taking action, I will never get over the lack of quality we have in the leon county authorities, I would have hated not to be somebodys daughter and somebodys child at this, I say, Im so glad that I am, and Im so glad im someones friend and something to so.ebody somewhere, regardless if I had anyone to take the steps with me to proving that what they did was calus and dangerous and unworthy of our people, unworthy of human kind and humanity, that this could have been any situation where rape, human trafficking, kidnapping even though it was'nt, it really really fit the discription not to mention I am a victim of major domestic violence to which come to find out, my ex had seen us at the gas station just a little over an hour before we ran out of gas, to which a no contact order was in place, i believe he is the one who called which ahould have been illegal in itself, my life was endangered already and they allowed it to be further endangered and allowed him to make the police further abuse me and endanger me. How messed up is that? Anyway, UHAUL, everything was perfect with your service up until i saw the videos of the authorities literally talking yall into pressing charges yet they blanked out the name, thats how i know that they switched my would not have been a grand theft auto charge with the people or person they were actually looking for.....maybe there was a call and maybe it was the ex, however, there were 3 uhaul thefts that same day, that were booked and were in first appearance.....kind of seems like I was set up for my music, when I went to pick up my paper assets, to which the constitution forbids the taking of, not even the military can come into your home and take your paper assets which no government official can, it is forbidden to keep a persons paper assets from them, paper assets are the one thing anyone has the roght go keep on their persons no matter where they are or are being held or transported to or from anywhere and wverywhere in the world.....is paper assets, I should never have been seperated from my belongings and they damn sure didnt have a right to destroy them. Uhaul, please make this right, and stand by, not just mine, but pur society's human rights. Thanks for letting me tell my UHAUL EXPERIENCE. I hope you all have a better experience than I have had this time moving with Uhaul, which is the only company I recommeded in the past or have ever used. My name is Chastity Hutto Harmony Lyric in Tallahassee Florida, a Cosmetology student at North Florida Cosmetology Institute, now that im speaking out, there seems to be an issue with the claim, im sure hoping that by telling my story and from you all hearing my story that it will get the attention of the lawyers, and positions that are blindsighted by the story that the other side tells in promonence they've stolen, while they wear what i e thought because they were in a position to make something of it while they constantly beat me down so they can take more while I look like a nothing, constantly struggling to keep my head up and not in a position because of those things and the things like this that happen as a result of trying to take these things from me and keep me from proving the truth about myself that others keep taking credit that doesnt belong to them for.. .will bring the lawyers you were asking if there is one in my defense, to give you that name, maybe he or she will, and while you are trying to act like I was making up the fact that these occurances happened and that the occurances that happened were my fault, these occurances were not my fault nor my idea nor did I deserve to have to go through the traumatic situations that happened to me for just trying to help someone out, i did the things I did for the elderly friend out of the goodness of my heart. I hope that the Constitution finally stands up for what we are so said to believe in, otherwise, whats it in place for societys trust upon it... I wont be the only one who has no other choice but to fall for what we allow to happen from not standing up for our rights and what we believe in and the only thing in writing that over rules all other....no if and or buts... what we refuse to allow or go any further. The customer service from direct U-HAUL companies are much better than the third-party affiliates which sell U-HAUL. Most of those guys can’t answer all questions and direct me to call the U-HAUL corporate phone number. However, they did get me a good 20 foot truck with only 10,000 miles and a new vehicle was appreciated in order to make my cross country haul. The corporate U-HAUL one800 number.

It seems that there is never more than 1 or at the most, 2 people working in the entire facility. The person working the counter then has to go outside to hook up trailers. There is never anyone around to disconnect trailers upon return. Since I was in a hurry, I disconnected the trailer myself so i could leave.

Atrocious. I went in for my rental on Thursday, when I had my reservation, in order to move out of a storage unit. The man working said that he didn't know anything about the storage units and couldn't help me, he only knew about the trucks. I refused to call anyone else because he was the only one working, and he said the phone number for the general manager listed on the wall didn't work. I called corporate, who told me to come back the following day so someone would be able to help me. I had arranged for moving help, and had to cancel them. The following day I arrived to pick up my rental and the employee working was very helpful and was able to resolve the issue with my rental (to the best of her knowledge at the time). It then took 1.5 hours for an employee to give me access to the rental, to the point where I was not able to move my items into their destination because I was so late and far behind. The equipment was clean, but the cabin lights did not work, and the fuel reading was notably off from where it was registered. I filled it up anyway to avoid the $80 charge because this location will do anything it can to get more out of you. It will wait four or five days to process a move out request so that they get an additional month's rent. After all of this, after having closed out my storage unit IN THE STORE yesterday, paid off and complete, I received an email today saying that there was a payment due today that was missed and that they were assessing me a $15 late fee. The customer service people at the counter, other than the man who was working on Thursday have always been friendly and helpful. The general manager is clearly disengaged, won't respond to his employees when they need him, ignores email, and is engaging in fraudulent behavior to take advantage of customers. The one upside is that this location typically DOES have the truck available at the time of reservation - every other location in Tallahassee struggles to have the vehicles ready or even present despite reservations.

I made this reservation several weeks in advance and received multiple confirmations that the truck would be available and ready for pickup. I drove approximately an hour to the location specifically for this reservation, only to arrive and find that the truck was not available, there was no mobile access available, and there were no other trucks available for me to use. I have since completed my rental and returned the U-Haul, but I have made multiple attempts to contact the company regarding reimbursement and a resolution to this issue. I was repeatedly told that someone would contact me, yet I have not received the promised follow-up. At this point, it feels as though my complaint has been ignored and essentially swept under the rug. This situation caused a significant inconvenience, including the time and travel required to get to the location for a reservation that was supposed to be guaranteed and ready. I should not be responsible for paying the full amount when the reservation was not fulfilled as confirmed. I am requesting that my charges be reviewed and that appropriate reimbursement or adjustment be made based on the inconvenience and failure to fulfill my reservation. I would also appreciate a clear response from someone who can actually address and resolve this matter rather than being told that I will receive another call that never comes. Please escalate this matter if necessary and provide me with a resolution in writing. Thank you.

The staff at this facility are really beyond compare. I had to effect a 1,500 mile move, and they made it so easy and so convenient for me. I’m unclear if your corporation understands the true gems that it employs in this location, but their customer service skills are unmatched. But I usually get the education on the free 30 day storage. She didn’t advise me of anything. After everything was said and done she told me the storage was 80 something bucks because I didn’t return the U-Haul to a different location. I had barely anything to put into the storage. I purchased a 5”5. Was very disappointed in her and her service. I went to get a refund the next day! If others that worked there were doing it wrong, I understand she followed protocol. But her attitude and customer service was poor overall.

I did not feel confident the staff member knew what he was doing (Jamal). He kept asking the same questions, name address, etc. from me when he could have taken my information down once. When I initially called, the computer systems were down, when he called me back, the message that he left was less than professional or informational...he left his name and to call him back on his cell #. So first, When I left my initial message, I did not know who Jamal was? So, I did not know that I would be getting a call from him. Second, I don't have his cell number. I was not sure who it was. Then when I followed up, this is when I found out when he told me he left me a message. Maybe some training on how to work with customers and how to leave a voice mail message that would give some indication on who they were with a phone number. after about an hour on the phone, he did get done what I needed, I can't say that I was confident that it was done correctly.

The one guy who checked me in did not know what he was doing and was extremely rude during the check in process. He acted as if I was stupid, threw up his hands, and said he no longer cared anymore at one point. Another time, I was in the facility when air blew through the overhead tube. I was curious about it and asked him what that was about because he was there unlocking the double doors that he had mistakenly locked ( which I had to wait for). He told me he was off the clock so he did not need to talk to me. I have never been treated so rudely as this young man treated me. I was told that I was required to get insurance, although everything written said that was an option. The day before my rental unit was due, I took everything out and told the person at the desk that I was out of the unit. He assured me that all was good. I then started getting overdue notices. I had to call to tell them that I had checked out already. If I need a storage unit again, I will definitely not be going here again.

Due to limited options was offered a storage unit that wasn't cleaned out but agreed to move in since the lock was included, contract was on monthly to month, using as a storage until end of month. Didn't have a 10x7 available so went up instead of downsizing. Enclosed is a photo attachment of what the storage unit looked like before moving in. Hope to resolve or receive a month free on next rental when downsizing or moving into new until. Inconvenience of cleaning and having the risk orf being accused of damages did not cause. Sent picture to manage email. Assured can move out no contract no fees no problems. Expected move out date to another unit is April 19, 2024. The manager step in towards the end of the transaction to make corrections on account. Mr. Burns and some other prospects were on site waiting. 1st month free was valid only with purchase of moving truck, and didn't want the inconvenience of signing the same contract twice neither wanted my signature electronic in order to copy & paste. So request a paper print out due to all the hacking/scammers & fraudulent activity. U-Haul provides individually alarmed rooms and twice the protection & security so the customer service & standard advantages made up for the headache artificial intelligence was giving . Signed as all rights reserved to not to family or friends. Definitely having a better experience at U-Haul then the last storage unit. 1 thing on my prayer list answered. Added insurance($5,000) on March 25, 2024 to cover books documents containers paint art supplies clothes electronics devices(intel), hair tools/equipment, clothes, clothing rack, suitcase $1,000 equal or less to in cash notes Resolution to trespass warning against visitors, friends, start properties or personal properties hanging out without being posted. All rights reserved to acknowledge that while U-Haul in this facility takes certain precautions to provide clean dry and secure storage rooms and agree that U-Haul in this facility does ensure my property and does have the responsibility to provide insurance for my property as effective March 25th of 2024 furthermore I agree that U-Haul in the facility are responsible for any damages or loss that may occur to the property while in storage. And understand that it is requirement for U-Haul in the facility to maintain insurance coverage for my goods or property as long as they are in the storage facility. With the exception of customers moving out leaving property behind and the manager considering unclaimed property rules and procedures the premises and office were clean. The unit moved in was not moved in ready or clean so emailed and spoke to manager about moving out since none of my options were available.

The facility was hot I mean 85 degrees hot. It felt cooler outside than inside the climate control storage. There was a used nasty mattress in the hall old junk sitting by the door with trash down the aisle. When I opened my new storage a damm rodent trap with poison sitting in there. Homeless people standing around and beating me through the door. This place doesn't give me clean or safe. I wouldn't store anything at this facility not even trash. The best decision I made was to ask for a refund.

The staff was very helpful and nice. They helped me get a rental truck whenbthe trailer I orders was not usable due to a malfunction of the hitch. So they did their best to accommodate me. Only thing is it set me back 2 hours of wait time but we got it all figured out in the end. I really love the fact that Ihaul did their best to make the situation right.

My experience with U-Haul was a disappointment. I will never recommend this location to anyone. I stayed less than 4 months. I do have another storage I've had for 10 years never had any serious issues. I did try to resolve issues before I moved out.

The only thing I didn’t like was they didn’t answer the phone have them time and when you emailed the store manager he didn’t email you back but sends you an email regarding payment.
