I enjoyed my time renting there. The manager at the time "Penny" gave me a great deal. All of a sudden the price changed and the discounts I was receiving before were gone which led me to moving out and going with Extra Space Storage for the same size unit but $85 cheaper.

This facility was great I ended up there because Piedmont facility gave my reservation away 5/23 the manager said it was on a first come first serve basis, though I reserved weeks in advance and called twice to confirm I did that because I was coming from out of town… Piedmont was conveniently located across the street from my apartment and didn't care that I had to pay extra to the movers to take me way further than planned, when I was told it was given away I then had to ask them to help me find another UhAul because i was not familiar with the area. This UhAul though very nice I ended up paying more because the size i reserved was not available. So beware because your reservation could be given away.

While the units themselves were to standard, I never had a nice time while interacting with staff. They made me feel like an inconvenience for simply asking questions about their storage units and hitches. They couldn't answer questions about the products hanging on their shelves, which is fine because they don't know what they don't know, but they didn't make an effort to help me figure out what I needed. They also spoke poorly about another customer that they had just assisted after the person walked out of the store while I was standing right in front of them, which was unprofessional. Could tell they did not want to be there but I also didn't make them take that job so I wish staff were kinder and more helpful.

I was very satisfied with the service. But the cab was pretty dirty. I don't think the cup holders or the floor mats had been cleaned at all. They had left over food and sticky soda on them The arm rests steering wheel and dash we're all caked with dirt and dust.. I know I shouldn't expect too much, it is a rental, I know. But after driving it from Atlanta to Pennsylvania I gave the whole cab a thorough cleaning from floor mats to the dash. I hope the next customer will enjoy a cleaner experience.

The person who checked my in for the rental was not good. She had an attitude that clearly indicated she didnt care about the job - very passive, uninterested, dismissive. The truck was good. and the man that met me when i turned the truck in was good and professional.

I dropped my rental truck off after hours and it did not feel safe. It was not clear where to leave the truck. There were random people parked in front of the store just sitting in their cars with their cars on. Waiting for something. The lighting in this area was not very good. And I was asked to park my car off site, down a dark road in a Sam's Club parking lot. Which was deserted when I dropped off at 6:30pm. I called a friend of mine that thankfully lived near by to come pick me up at the truck and drive me to my car.

It's been a long time since I needed a trailer or moving truck. I was bringing furniture up to my daughter's new apartment and was very pleased with the staff and condition of the 5'x8' trailer. I needed to store the furniture in the trailer and hold onto the trailer for a few extra days. The rental fee was reasonable along with the added days. Overall an excellent experience 

Employee stole a concealed weapon out of the uhual truck and lied about it. I had to make a police report on uhual location and employee. Employee at front desk kept ignoring customer service calls before I even got back to the location. She's very helpless and poor customer service.

The posted hours on the door and the web site were to 7:00 pm. I arrive at 6:45 pm and the facility was closed with the lights out and there was no note on the door indicating early closure. Since I was doing a return it did nir matter, but for someone who needed service it would. Details matter.

As per your policy, the employee hooked the trailer up to my vehicle. I left the location and drove 4+ miles home, mostly on the interstate. When I got home, I checked the hitch. The trailer tongue lifted right off. It was fully loose. This was extremely dangerous and irresponsible!

This comment is directed to corporate UHAUL. My one way rental was utilized for less than 24hours, yet I was required to pay for a 3 day rental. Therefore, when I turned in the truck, UHAUL then had the opportunity to make more money on my remaining 2 days by renting the same truck during my remaining 2 days. I asked for a refund and was denied. I asked if I could pay my 2 remaining days forward for the next customer and was denied. I don't like being taken advantage of. Plan to rent trucks from a different provider going forward.

I felt racially discriminated by the General Manager and her assist since day one. There were constant threats of reporting the U-Haul stolen if I were to go over a minute late. They stressed me out so bad that I had a miscarriage this past week. They continued to taunt me even though I told them about my medical emergency. I called customer service most of the time to renew because they were very sweet and professional. I would not recommend this U-Haul store to anyone. I should've went to the one in Brookhaven, Ga 30319 because they are always nice and happy. One woman moving an entire 1 300 sq fr condo is not going to be done over night. I stressed that to them and they still harrassed me when I called to make a payment. That's why most of my contact was through customer service.

The U-Haul I received was fine. Until it was time to return it. The battery died and we had to find a way to jump it. It was so inconvenient and I was almost late to return it. When we got it back to the U-Haul place I told the staff that the battery died on us and she said, "oh ok." That's it. She wasn't rude, but she didn't seem to care about our experience. The whole thing just turned me off from U-Haul.

Was charged $30 extra for 6 gallons of gas AFTER only driving 14 miles AND putting gas into the truck before returning it. This was due to an inaccurate reading of gas prior to leaving the facility. I spoke to the manager Fadia and told her the gas reading they were stating it was at prior was inaccurate. She stated she could not assist me because I was supposed to do a precheck before I left the facility. I expressed to her I didn't know anything about a pre check before I left and no one explained that to me, and I didn't notice the text until later. She was absolutely no help, stating "everyone who works here at this location tells customers about the precheck every single time" which is completely unreasonable and unrealistic. She had terrible customer service, she didn't even want to acknowledge the accused amount of gas shortage and the amount of mileage I drove on top of putting gas in the truck didn't add up. I requested a supervisor contact information or for a supervisor to contact me and she refused to help me, stating I will have to call 1800uhaul number to put in a complaint and request contact through them. Extremely disappointed in service and feel taken advantage of.

The U haul App. and website isn't vey useful. First used your website to find the trailer I needed and a location near me that said they had one available for whenI need it.. then I booked it. got a conformation for it at that location. then installed the app. then got a text telling that location doesn't have that trailer. SO I went back online to find a location that does have one. The original location I booked kept coming up saying it was available. So then I called and no they don't have it. Only took me the costumer 45 mins to find one. went to the website installed your app made 4 phone calls and received about 6 text before I was able to talk to someone and Find a trailer.

The side rear view mirror on the 10 foot moving van did not work well. It really only had two positions and one position gave the view of the side of the truck and the other position was a worse view. Neither of the positions have a clear view of the traffic on the left side. I noted that only if you pushed the seat all the way forward as if you had the height of a dwarf could you see any traffic on the left side at all. This is very unsafe. I reported this to the manager after returning the vehicle. She said she would check it out. I would like a response to this complaint. Merci.

Was told I could arrive at a certain time but the store closed early and I had to wait on hold for a while for them to convert it to a 24/7 pick-up. Once I got it the rental was great but would've appreciated better drop off instructions and if needed to put inside the gate.

Great! Got a storage unit for free due to renting a truck. It was very spacious and climate controlled. Only problem with the space was that the light inside the unit wouldn't turn on- overall great.

I was not told I needed to add 24/7 access. When I came to my storage location I was denied access and had to take off off work to move my things in. I called the location the next day and they showed me absolutely no compassion for my situation. She rudely told me there was nothing she could do for me. I will never be using Uhaul again.

My storage unit lock was faulty. The office never picked up the phone and the hours are not 9-5 employee friendly. I would never recommend or use this uhaul storage and trucks again.

I fell for the same old same old, Great people,bad system. My truck rental and storage rental was a complete nightmare. After filling the truck with my things, I find out they did not book the storage unit, which left me without one. Then when they did find a replacement unit, it was in Atlanta not Decatur,so now I have to travel to clairmont rd from Wesley chapel. Also that location booked me for a unit which was already rented . I can't wait to hear what cooperate has to say and what will be done to compensate for all the times they dropped the ball concerning me and my use of their services,or lack there of...

Overall, your staff is amazing every time I go to the Clairmont Location! Very friendly, knowledgeable and respectful - always helpful. The facility itself - has a ton of work - I was EXTREMELY surprised after 1 full year of renting from this facility (1 year and 7 months) the elevator in Building A is still an ongoing issue. It is such a HUGE fire hazard and safety concern. The first move in date 6/2021. This type of maintenance issue is not acceptable to lingered for so long. My unit was never lit - the halls were always clean. Merci.

Penny and her staff are extremely professional and offer 5 star customer service!!!! She made a terrible situation awesome when I had a bad experience at a different location. Penny and her staff restored me and my families faith in Uhaul!!! This is the only location I will use! They were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Penny and her staff understood the toll moving takes on people and they make it easy. This store should be a model for how customer service should work and Uhaul store locations should be ran. If want to upgrade Uhaul start by promoting Penny and Lady that was there with her. This will take. Uhaul to another level and restore the service to the image you once had. I have had a terrible experience, several times, with this facility and its staff. I have previously forwarded the complaint to the Management and have yet to receive an updated response. I even spoke to the Manager about the complaint when I moved out, and though she was very busy, I felt like there was an air of irritation based on my previously complaining about the door not working after moving all of my things out and having to move them into a working unit, and not receiving any assistance from the representatives that were there. I also was advised by the Uhaul call center that I qualified for a free month, which was confirmed by the location rep, then declined later. This is not the first time that I used Uhaul (trucking and storage) in the past few months, as there were a limited number of units available and we had to use several separate locations... and I was awarded the free month at the other locations. This was the first and only location where I was advised that we did not qualify for the free month (and that it was a one-time option) though we had received it previously and it was confirmed by the call center. The Clairmont location was the worst customer service that I had received, and I missed my flight and had to rebook it based on what appeared to be the inexperience of the persons that were responsible for managing the location on those 2 days that I interacted with them before I moved out.

I have items that I have to unload to make my final trip and turn in my apartment keys at 12:30pm today or I'll be charged additional rental days. This is an unfair situation that I need rectified.

Rob/Rod was not the most customer driven. My first reservation was for Saturday, February 26, 2022, apparently Uhaul had a system outage which really inconvenienced me for both truck and storage. My second reservation Monday, February 28, I arrive again Rob/Rod is there and I faced with the same drama, his nonchalant attitude for my inconvenience, the 15inch truck requested was not available and for this I get no explanation I than ask for alternate truck which he stated all trucks had reservations but than he followed up with the smallest truck Uhaul have to offer, causing me to have to make multiple trips.

Excellent staff, light bulbs were never in my storage unit for one room and the other was out when going visit. It would be nice for uhaul to fix this often. Well lit areas are important! Also the Elevator is terrible; especially when you have paid movers and every time the elevator close - it takes 3-tries, before the door close! Something has to be done! That's terrible. Don't wait till someone gets hurts before fixing! It's been 4-months and still not running correctly. By the way, I'm referencing building A. Call elevator specialist- that's frustrating.

I've utilized this specific location for 2 different moves! Both times have been a very smooth process for storage! The first move, I stored my belongings for 3 months. The second move I stored my belongings for 7 months. My only complaint would be the stench in a unit near mine, so I'm not sure that there is much the company can do about that. I give this location a thumbs up, and will definitely return if I need to again!! Also, the staff is great even with the long lines and demanding customers, they give you one on one assistance, and will see your process all the way through!

Tiffany was wonderful! So friendly and knowledgeable about all of my questions. The facility is very well maintained-super clean and it even smells good inside. My only suggestion would be to place a U-Haul sign at the Clairmont Rd entrance, as I thought I was in the wrong lot, only seeing Sam's Club when I pulled in. The facility is kind of hidden in the back of the lot.

Honestly the employees could not have been nicer, but we had a little bit of a hectic time getting our unit. It was a very busy day, so there was quite a wait (certainly not the employees fault - just stating that). When we got our access card, we were very disappointed that we couldn't get an access code. One card is not convenient. Then the card would not work to get us into the building and I had to go back to the busy office. It was re-programmed, I went back to the elevator, and up to the 3rd floor we went, only to find a lock on our unit. Back to the busy office to get an employee with the master keys to take off the facility's lock so we could store our items. Honestly this experience took WAY longer than it should have due to all of the glitches. The pricing is also extremely high, now that I have had the time to check comparable storage facilities in the area. Again, everyone was very nice and helpful, despite that they were extremely busy.

I'll start with my move-in experience which was 2/5 stars. The gentleman checking me was a.) rude and b.) borderline incompetent. I had to ask him how I was supposed to enter/exit the facility which he replies "oh yeah you'll need a code". He also forgot to give me a card to swipe in and out of the unit on top of not giving me directions on how sign-in/out process worked or even where my unit was located. When explaining my situation to him, he was sarcastic and said "you need to sign-in of course". He also forgot to ask me to bring back a lock and another item from the unit and asked me to get them one at a time. I'd return with one item and he'd go "well what about this item? I need that as well"...The lady who was working on that day is the only reason it didn't get a 1-star review as she helped me move the U-haul because I didn't feel comfortable navigating the 26' in the tight corners Fast forward to the move out process. I went to the physical location because I wasn't able to move out via the website, and I spoke with a worker who was helping another customer but wrote down my name and unit number and said she'd move me out after helping the customer. Unfortunately, she must have forgotten and on the 24th of September, I got an email on the 27th from the GM saying my rent was past due. I replied to the email explaining I had moved out on the 21st and that I spoke to an employee on the 24th. In addition to emailing the email, I called the facility and once again an employee wrote down my name and unit number and said he'd move me out. On the 28th, I spoke to a U-Haul customer service rep and she said I should go down to the physical location and speak to the GM. So, on Oct 1st I went to the location and was FINALLY moved out after learning there currently isn't a GM. In short, between the truck issues in Houston and this process in Atlanta, I'm done spending over $1k per move with U-Haul. End rant

Terrible customer service at this location! I was promised a receipt for a rental truck- they never sent a receipt and then when i called about the receipt i had to repeat the email address 10 times! very unprofessional with low iq scores. Very IGNORANT people and then the representative hung up the phone! I will be posting a full review on google reviews!!!!

Terrible service, no call back from manager to follow up. Sales clerk gave me the wrong gate code 3 times then assured me everything was set and when I got to my storage there was a lock still on it. Was promised 30 days free from customer service and denied at the facility. Typical. Called customer service to verify and Was told the uhaul truck has to be booked for a one way trip in order to qualify for the 30 days free. Cool. However that's not what was explained to me. Requested a manager who listened to the recording from my initial call and heard that I was promised 30 days free and said she would rectify the issue. She didnt. Oh and let's not forget I was on hold with customer service being passed around from person to person for more than 2 Hours. Moving my stuff out to cube smart. Terminé

I made an online reservation on May 1st for a drive up storage at the Clairmont storage for May 5th check in. It showed 2 drive up storage areas available and I RESERVED one of the drive up units. I called on May 2nd to confirm my reservation at the storage area for May 5 and they said everything okay just bring ID etc. When I showed up at 7:15am May 5 I did not get her name but there was a card Samanda Lora told me that there were no other drive up storage available and they booked me for indoor storage 2nd floor. I asked why this happened and got no reply why but this is what you get nothing more. My issue was I was meeting my movers at 8am and paying by the hour to make the move. I did not have time to find another facility and I was going to pay these movers by the hour. I took the unit and got a free lock WOW! While the movers were loading my furniture on the truck I called your 800 number and got a very nice lady and explained my issue and she came back and said she talked with Eddie and they found a drive up storage and Eddie was waiting for me. I immediately got in my car to go take off the lock on my 2nd floor and go see Eddie about my drive up. On the way over I did receive a call from someone (Eddie) but did not answer because I was driving and only to get to the Uhaul place and have Eddie saying he made a mistake and there was nothing he could do. I GUESS MY ISSUE HERE IS WHY TO YOU HAVE A SYSTEM THAT WHEN YOU RESERVE SOMETHING IT DOES NOT RESERVE WHAT YOU WANT! I NEVER FOUND OUT FROM THE 2 EMPLOYEES WHY THIS HAPPENS AND IT SEEMS TO ME A BAIT AND SWITCH. UHAUL IS BETTER THAN THIS AND I WOULD EXPECT NOTHING LESS. I GOT A FREE LOCK AND PAID MY MOVERS AN EXTRA HOUR MORE TO MOVE ME BECAUSE WE COULD NOT JUST TAKE IT OFF THE TRUCK AND PUT IT IN THE DRIVE UP STORAGE. I DID TRY TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE AT THE STORAGE AREA AND ALL EDDIE DID WAS GIVE ME THE BROCHURE THE IN-TOWN MOVERS WITH YOUR CEO E.J. "JOE" SHOEN TO CONTACT.

I have decided to give this location 2 stars only because they have a kind manager. She was helpful & efficient BUT.. On February 29th I reserved a storage location, my friend & I showed up & were forced to deal with a lady whom was not helpful. She would hand us the paper with the storage numbers and price & give us the key card to look around on our own because she "can't get up, too old". She was rude & asked us the same questions over & over again because she was not paying attention. I came back to the storage 1 week later on March 8th & my key card was denied, I go into the office & was greeted by the Manager & the same unhelpful lady, whom looked totally different this day. Due to her lack of attention last week, She put us in the wrong storage room. The manager was helpful & solved the problem. But I definitely paid too much money to have my access denied & spent 20 minutes re-entering the information that their employee inputted incorrectly. I personally wouldn't book with this location a second time.
